Elegant Italian Villa On The Scenic Coast of New England

It was wonderful. The house was a grand venue for the event (9 ladies), is beautifully furnished and very well equipped.

This house is loaded with the elegance of the gilded age. Its' size made it easy for my entire family to be together when we all wanted to be in the same room, as well as have privacy when family members needed to work or wanted to do different activities. Some parts of the house do show its age, but that only added to the magic of the place. On the whole the house is very well kept up and the glamour of the house comes through in every room. The host was very easy to work with and helpful during our stay.

Overall we had a great time in the area but this is not a house I would stay at again. It has great promise but needs some upkeep. A couple of the cabinets in the kitchen were broken, extra furniture and other things stored in some open areas, covered patio is cracking and looks unstable. Also some personal items were stored in one of the upstairs bathrooms which seemed odd.

At one time this was a beautiful villa. However, the lack of maintenance has left it in a poor and uninviting state. The kitchen was full of mouse droppings ( we had to evict several mice), and most of the rooms were ringed with mold. The couches in the main seating area are completely devoid of cushioning and are stained.

The house was perfect for our annual 3 generation family summer vacation! The house was fully equipped with everything we needed except for our food. Both indoors and outdoors was spacious and gracious and reminiscent of times past. It was cool during our heat wave week and so comfortable to come back to after a day at the beach. Lots of outdoor play space for big and little kids, with lots of pleasant outdoor seating areas and garden. All beds were comfortable and showers were great. Kitchen easily accommodated our food storage and meal prep. All good!!!

We had an absolute blast at this place for my sister's bachelorette weekend! It gave us the exact vibes we were looking for and provided the perfect backdrop for a weekend full of fun and laughter. The highlight was definitely the murder mystery we did; The house added an exciting and mysterious element to our time together. Overall, it was the perfect venue for an unforgettable weekend with my sister and her closest friends!

This was my second time renting this home and it’s a delight! Lots of space to spread out. Definitely an old home vibe but I think it makes the home interesting and unique. Definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay. The spacious house had lots of good places for our big group to spread out but also an excellent spot for us to all gather together. The house is beautiful and old with lots of character. Don was excellent with communication and we felt welcome.

Great house for large family if you are ok with antique style and eclectic furnishings/style. Lots of room, kitchen well equipped, plenty of sleeping beds. Great location & private. Extremely “lived in” comfortable but very old- nothing remodeled in a long time but charming.

Great location. House is huge… reminded us of the Clue house. Definitely an older house with a creepy vibe. We loved it as we spent time in Salem. Property manager was very helpful with a few issues we had upon arrival. Overall great place for large group.

The house is beautiful- the bedrooms are perfect! Loved the library- so much fun exploring the house. The house had the perfect vibe for Halloween time. Our family had a wonderful experience! Don was a doll, Alix did all he could to make our experience awesome. Thank you for an exciting experience.

Incredible antique house! We were visiting the area for the October festivities in Salem, and this house was perfect for the setting. The entire area was beautiful this time of year and got to enjoy the outdoor fire pit and walk to local beach. Plenty of sitting areas to enjoy and beds were very comfortable. There was box fans available for almost every room as it did get a little stuffy and we needed them. Would love to visit again!

Stayed with our whole wedding party for the most amazing Wedding Weekend.
All of the bridesmaids were able to use the library to get ready while the groomsmen hung out throughout the house. Many rooms had suites with bathrooms and overall it was perfect.
Definitely lived-in but made it all the more homey and comfortable.

I came up with 12 of my friends for my bachelorette party. The house was awesome, we were so happy to have stayed there. Plenty of space for everybody and activities! We did Halloween crafts the first night in the dining room then headed out back to sit around the firepit. The next night when we did our famous witches bar crawl there were plenty of bathrooms and mirrors for all of us to get ready in then plenty of space in the study and living room to film tik toks and have some fun before heading out.
Don was a great host giving us great suggestions on what to do and coming by to introduce himself. We will definitely look into renting the house again in the future and recommend it to anyone coming to the area!

This villa was stunning! Don was an amazing property manager! He walked through the house and showed us the historical aspects of the property! We were a large group, but we all have plenty of room and privacy from each other. The large atrium was the focal point of our stay. We loved all the lovely themed bedrooms upstairs as well!

This is a large, charming place that has been around for a long time. It is well equipped and comfortable. While it might be formidable because of its size and design, it has been well lived-in and thus feels like home. Lovely location in the woods, close to beaches and small towns. We had a wonderful time.

This was a fascinating huge house with lots of interesting places to explore. The 5 children with our group of 11 loved the outdoor volleyball and basketball. Definitely the largest and most interesting property we have ever rented.

We stayed at the Villa and used the property as a meeting place for our family from Canada, Sweden and Florida. We were greeted by our wonderful host Don who attended to our every need. He helped us out with an important errand and was always on standby and quickly responded to our messages. Enjoy the surroundings, the house and the grounds as they are beautiful. Perfect time of the year to visit. Thank you Don and Alix!

We just got married and spent our wedding weekend getting ready/taking photos/celebrating at this property. It was definitely a focal point!! We had such an amazing time and we met Don who was so nice!!! Our whole wedding party wants to make it tradition to rent this place once a year haha. 10/10 would stay there again

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Fiori. Spacious and elegant place for our 80th Birthday gathering. The place has great possibilities. So happy that the owners care and are preserving the ambiance of the villa. We loved using the fireplace --- a special bonus! Rooms for everyone. The children had a fabulous time on the third floor!

We are a group of college friends who enjoy a "Trinity Sisters' Retreat" each year, always at a different place. This, by far, is our most elegant, old world charming place! Each room invites conversation with cozy seating arrangements, wonderful couches and chairs. The kitchen has everything you could want. The whole house is incredibly clean, lovely comfortable bedrooms, plenty of parking; I could go on and on. I want to stress 'clean,' (We senior citizens are picky about clean.) The cleaning staff gets an A+. This is a huge house and everything was spotless. The manager was just a quick text message away; very attentive. If you are a large group looking for an elegant house in an interesting area (Cape Ann, MA has something for everyone) then this is your place. We loved it.

Manager was away but very helpful & friendly by phone. House is grand & interesting, grounds are large & inviting. Furniture a bit worn and not particularly comfortable, but adequate for a group of up to 18 to stay and have a great time. Location is excellent & feels very private while being walkable to beaches. Plenty of activities for the whole family & great restaurants in area. Kitchen nicely equipped with those two dishwashers you want when cooking or serving 12+ people! Everyone had a good time!

Even with the gloom of a Rainy Spring Day, the Fiori Villa does Not disappoint! How such a Large Home is able to radiate such Coziness remains a mystery to me!
This was our Second Time staying at Fiori Villa and it truly does just get Better and Better!
The Adults and Children Love the outdoors for Easter Egg Hunts or for running around and seeking out the Hidden Garden Spots!
Inside, with Plenty of Space downstairs and upstairs, it is So Comfortable for All Age Groups!
And, making our Stay even more Pleasant was the Caretaker, Don, with His Wonderful, Pleasant Attitude and Most Helpful
Manner! Thank You, Don, for All Your Help in making our Time So Memorable!!

We stayed at this property for 2 nights for a company meeting/ retirement celebration. There were 14 of us and this property had plenty of room for all of us to have our space! Great outdoor set up so that we could have a fire and enjoy the beautiful weather. The property manager had great communication and was very helpful with all of our questions and answered the phone anytime we had questions or needed something. We will definitely be back!

This property was PERFECT for our wedding weekend. We got married at hammond castle but family and friends were able to stay with us. We enjoyed the grounds, the fabulous kitchen, the firepit. Our master suite was the perfect bridal suite. I highly recommend villa fiori. It made our wedding weekend extra special (and affordable!)

This was our third stay at Villa Fiori and once again it did not disappoint. We are a large family so the number of bedrooms gave everyone their own space to which they could retreat when they wanted. The entry room and library were great places for people to gather, read, and play games. We spent a lot of time in the kitchen preparing meals so the large fridge, two ovens, 6 burners, and 2 dishwashers were welcome and put to use. We would love to go back again in the future.

The space was such a welcome change from a hotel. Lots of comfortable spaces for small group conversations and the library was a perfect place to unwind by the fire.
The kitchen had a great layout for serving up meals and everyone felt "at home" immediately.

We are a large family from all over New England, who get together once a year to celebrate our Thanksgiving and Christmas over one weekend. This is the perfect location, central to most of us, well supplied with everything you need to cook a large meal, and plenty of rooms and beds for all of us. Communication with the owner was excellent. I would highly recommend :)

While the house was technically as advertised, there were some little details that could have been better.
The beds were hard (my back still hurts from that mattress), we couldn’t find extra linen, trash and dirty laundry was left from previous guests, there was no key to lock the house and some minor repairs were needed,

Once we got used to the 1800’s feel to the house, we enjoyed our stay. Fun exploring all the nooks and crannies of the house. Loved the foyer, and there wasn’t one bad bedroom in the house.

We loved staying at this house. It was spooky (not really) and just what we expected. We only had 13 in our group but this home can easily accommodate 16-18 people. Don, the property manager, was great. He gave wonderful suggestions and pointed us in the direction of the Seaport Grill. I highly recommend this restaurant. The food was amazing and on Thursdays the lobster roll is only $22. We ate there twice. We had some suggestions for Don (new toaster, new shower curtain liners, etc...) and he was very receptive. The beds were comfortable for the most part. We did have 2 people fall down the last 2-3 steps of the servants stairs. It is dark and can be dangerous for older folks so keep that in mind. I would definitely recommend staying in this amazing house!

18 family members gathered for a reunion with local cousins. This house was perfect! We all had nice bed with bath nearby. Great spaces to gather inside and out! Close to 3 awesome beaches, grocery stores, bakery, restaurants. Highly recommend this house.

We stayed at the villa for a week. As stated in other reviews the house could definitely use some repairs and cosmetic touch up. But it is an old home and we loved all the cool history and nuances surrounding this place. My 4 year old grandson loved to explore! Lots of areas for everyone to relax and we used all 10 bedrooms! There is a great place for a bonfire, foosball table, large dining room table to play cards and a basketball hoop. Don the property manager was attentive and even retrieved an item that was left behind and returned it for us! You really have to drive to the beach..not walking distance..and parking is sometimes a challenge..but you can get passes online to Gloucester beaches which are very close and beautiful. Also it's a short distance from Salem and many other great places for day trips. All in all, if you need a great central location for a large group and don't care if you are right on the beach this is an awesome place to stay. It was affordable for the number of bedrooms. We would definitely go back!

This house was everything that we wanted it to be when we booked a week for a family and friends trip to Massachusetts. It is a beautiful, old home - perfect for folks who love historical architecture like we do. I would have loved to see this house in its prime. The location was great for exploring the surrounding area and for making day trips to Boston and Salem. We had a few children with our group and while the house is not totally kid-friendly, we did appreciate the expansive grounds, the outdoor basketball hoop, and the built-in gate at the top of the stairs. We had a little difficulty communicating with the property manager when we wanted to make a change to our reservation, but with patience and perseverance on both sides, we were able to get everything sorted out. Overall, I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a gorgeous old venue for a relaxing visit to Manchester-by-the-Sea.
