We had the best time staying at this property in Sawtell. The unit was much larger than expected and the proximity to the beach, town and other amenities and attractions was unbeatable. The property had everything we could possibly need for our stay and we really enjoyed sitting on the private and peaceful balcony at the end of each day. We were also glad we chose Sawtell and this property for our stay as we found it super convenient base from which to make day trips to other nearby attractions such a Red Rock Beach, the Yarrawarra Aboriginal Cultural Centre at Corindi Beach, Belligen township and Dorrigo National Park. I highly recommend this property and Sawtell.

We were so pleased with this unit. It has a great sized living space with 2 bedrooms. The master has a WIR and ensuite. Washing machine and dryer made it so convenient and we loved that we could go from the back verandah straight to our car. The location is superb. A very short walk to the beach and the main street with all of it's great restaurants. The decor could definitely do with updating, but the price was right.

The apartment is spacious, the beds are comfy and in a great central location.A mere 1 minute stroll to the beach and all the main shopping strip This is almost enough to warrant a return visit,however the apartment is need of some TLC and an update to bring it up to the standard of other rentals in the area. Of greatest concern is the mould in the blinds in all rooms, if these where replaced you could overlook the fact you can see other areas of the ceiling where mould has been treated. The kitchen cupboards need attention are ae not very inviting to use what is stored in there.The towels where awful quality and had stains, thankfully we had our own towels with us if that hadn't been the case I am sure McGarths would have had them replaced as they offer exceptional service.

Booked Solitaire 1 on the website despite some poor reviews and photos of very dated decor, as it was so close to the beach and town. VERY pleasantly surprised on our arrival to find a number of improvements including new carpet, appliances including television, bed linen,new lounge and blinds which looked great.The apartment still has some older furniture of good quality which we found pleasantly quirky and coupled with lots of paintings and homewares, created a comfortable ambience often missing from holiday units. It was roomy, airy and light with a great aspect from the long verandah. These apartments are beautifully kept with lovely gardens and lawns surrounding each unit.
The absence of WIFI however is a definite minus as I couldn't find a coffee shop in town which provided it either so that was a nuisance.
We will most certainly be back in the future. Very polite and helpful agents made check in a breeze. We had a great holiday and loved the quiet and comfort of Solitaire 1.

Solitaire 1 is a spacious, clean, well appointed holiday unit in a fantastic location. Just 2-5 min walk to everything that Sawtell offers. Only downside is the poorly furnished lounge area; a comfortable couch or two would be great. As would an updated TV (stopped working the last couple of days of our stay). Also, wifi would be a great addition.

'Magical '
Spotlessly clean , magical ambiance , so quite , close too everything , shops ,cafes,theater ,beach ,RSL etc.
The only thing missing was a better lounge seating ,single chairs ok, but definitely needs a 4 seater couch for relaxation when watching television at night ,

Great potential to be a really good rental - management need to take responsibility to review property, ensure it is clean, fresh appropriate linen, advise on decor...this wasn't rented as an airbnb. I tried to provide constructive criticism as this place has potential to have so much going for it. Carpets cleaned and get rid of oily smell on entry. Sorry to be harsh, but this could be a great place...but in fairness to future people staying we need to be open and honest. Possibly the agents have dealt with a few issues since our stay.

Appalled
We were disgusted at the stench of the place when we arrived and it got worse as we stayed. Furniture so old it was broken and perishing so emitting foul door plus the mouldy walls blinds etc we all end up very sick coughed all night and verticals were missing and light so early and lights from RSL etc we got no sleep.
Very tired n neglected property.

Well equipped, well positioned and quiet. Could not ask for anything better. Price wise was great value for money. Will definitely stay here again.
