The perfect Mountain Retreat
Ampliamente remodelado en 2013, esta cabaña cálida y acogedora tiene un plan de piso abierto, con techos abovedados, grandes vigas y madera de pino a través de. Encimeras de granito, electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable, gabinetes de aliso nudoso acristalamiento y suelos de nogal. La pared de ventanas en el gran salón da a las amplias pinos cubierta y altísimos. Hermosa pizarra rodea la chimenea de gas, además de calor de aire forzado. Inicio capacidad para 10 personas. Independiente garaje para 2 coches.

Good place to stay in Tahoe Donner. 3 good bedrooms, 2 with King beds and one with Queen and bunks. All good, comfortable mattresses for a good night sleep after a workout on the ski slopes. 4th bedroom is up an outdoor set of stairs and then into loft above garage and was locked during our stay, but I think that one wouldn't be practical in the winter. Kitchen is a bit small but workable and well equipped. Overall we had a great stay.

Our family was in the area for a wedding. The cabin was a comfortable place for us to stay together. We didn’t have much time to enjoy the many amenities the area has to offer but the cabin had everything we needed and the beds and linens were very comfortable.

Great family property with a quiet neighborhood and trails that my kids lived to hike. Great proximity to Northstar, Lake Tahoe, a grocery store, and lots of hiking. The house is very well stocked and really comfortable.

You will not go wrong with this house! It is stocked with all of the essentials. Plenty of cookware. Lots of dishes, glasses etc. Plenty of towels. Spices, coffee filters, foil, Saran Wrap, garbage bags, recycle bags and much more! Very well laid out home. The view is beautiful. The deck is inviting. Bikes to ride in the garage. Large driveway and room for two cars in the garage. extra chairs and beach chairs as well. I can’t say enough about this place! My family and I had the best time there! It can easily sleep up to 10 people with no problem. Great location as well. We will absolutely be staying at this home again!!

Enjoyed a great weekend with friends during the epic snow in late winter of 2023. Easy to access, even with all the snow. Cabin is well appointed and clean and the host was accommodating and lovely. Would rent again when in the Truckee area.

Beautiful little cabin. Perfect for our family of 5 and our friends family of 5. If I had a question the owner responded right away. Our family loves this area so much and can't wait to come back.

We had a total of 9 and everyone had a comfortable bed to sleep in. The cabin feels very cozy and private. We enjoyed sitting on the patio at night to star gaze. Safeway close by was very nice and a short drive to Donner lake was awesome. Made a perfect family retreat for us!!

We had a group of eight ranging from 7 to 75 and Wildhorn Cabin could not have been more perfect for us. Proximity to downtown Truckee as well as Tahoe made for a great weekend. The cabin was well stocked and clean. The deck is amazing and was the perfect spot to play games or just hang out. The beds were all very comfortable. It was really nice to have such great communication with the owner prior to the trip, Patricia is great.
Our family has already talked about coming back to experience the cabin during the winter months.

Nice Cabin in Great Location
The location of the cabin is great since it is close to downtown but also has a nice woodsy view in the back (we went when it was covered with snow and it was beautiful). There were plenty of towels, blankets, cooking supplies, etc. The sleds were fun for our kids. Everyone enjoyed the fireplace and comfy chairs after a day in the snow.

Cozy house near Truckee town center
Had a great time with my family here. We enjoyed the proximity to stores and the availability of a paved walking trail (Truckee Trails Trailhead) that took us to downtown. Make sure to bring your own shower supplies.

BEAUTIFUL CABIN! Privacy you can Enjoy yet so close to everything
Patricia is very responsive. We arrived late at the property around 9pm for check-in and missed reading the instructions on turning on the water valve. I called her and she answered her phone right away and was very helpful.
Location! Location! Location!!! You will enjoy the privacy. It feels secluded yet, The cabin is close to freeway, supermarkets, and restaurants, hiking trails and Donner Lake.
Everything you needed is in the cabin. Owners are very thoughtful and provided cooking utensils, pots and pans, board games, balls, beach chairs and bike too…Unbelievable, We all enjoyed our stay.
Oh did I mention, Beds were comfy too.plenty of blankets to keep you warm on cold nights and pillows. Everyone had a good night sleep.
Thank You so much again Patricia & family for sharing your beautiful cabin with us. Though short, this is by far one of our best stays in a cabin.
For sure we will be back again!

Great house and location!
We stayed here with family to attend our daughter's wedding. It was a great location for the various events we needed to get to, and also to the local Safeway! The house was clean, the kitchen was very well stocked with all the utensils, pots, dishes, etc. that you would need, and plenty of living room and dining room space for our needs. Nice patio and woodsy back yard area which our grand daughter loved! We can only vouch for the bed we slept in which was the master, and it was very comfortable! Our son and daughter in law said their bed was comfy as well. The only issue we had was with the downstairs bath - the on/off control was loose and fell off. I notified the property owner right away and they got back to me quickly and said they would get it fixed. Since we had the upstairs bathroom available, and we were in and out a lot, I let them know it was not urgent for us so they were going to have it fixed after we checked out. The access to the garage for the cars was also a nice plus. We would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed the woods and the greenery all around the home. The home had all the amenities that one needs, and we enjoyed cooking in the modern kitchen.But the best part of the stay was our host, Patricia. She was very responsive to all my emails and questions right from the time I made the reservation. Also on the last day of our stay, one of the kids had an injury and had to be taken to the hospital. We were getting late for the checkout and I asked Patricia if she would give us some additional time for checkout. Patricia was very gracious and told us to take our time and also checked on the well-being of the injured kid several times. It was truly a wonderful gesture on her part and helped ease the stress and worry to a great extent. Thank you Patricia!

Fun weekend in a nice and well equipped cabin.
The cabin was clean and well maintained, with a fully equipped kitchen to enjoy some cooking. Very nice and friendly owners made the experience very easy convenient. I would highly recommend this great cabin!

Perfect Place to stay
We have been taking our family, including grand kids, to stay here for several years now, and we all agree it's the perfect location. We all ski as well as play in the snow. This house feels like home away from home!!!

We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. It was a perfect size for two families of 4. The only negative was that the wifi did not work well at all. We would definitely stay there again!!

Very nice and comfortable
The pictures don't make justice to the cabin, they are dark and hard to tell on the space. We were two families, we had plenty of space for the 6 of us.
Kitchen is well stocked and newly renovated. Gas cook top is fantastic.
Bathrooms are also renovated and plenty for the weekend, they are not large.
Only one thing we found as a down comment, they were the pillows old and flat.
The homeowner has done a great job with the cabin information and was very responsive to any communication. We loved the cabin and will come back.

Retreat perfectly describes this warm and spacious house, especially in the midst of a snow storm. Wonderful place to stay with two families and small kids. Tons of snow.
