House provided ample places for hanging out. Rooftop patio for sunset and moon views, courtyard pool for morning coffee and afternoon cool downs, front porch was great, too. Lots of space inside and out. Lots of showers (one outdoor, too) for returning from the beach. Great beach literally 20 seconds away. 12-min walk to great surf town with lots of amenities

The management company was absolutely amazing… Anytime we needed anything, including recommendations & reservations, their responses were almost immediate on WhatsApp and they were happy to help us with booking. The beach across the street is gorgeous and great for exploring, but rocky. If you walk down a bit further, maybe 100-200 yards toward the estuary (further from town), you will find less rock, more beach, and see some talented surfers. This area is somewhat secluded, and even during spring break it wasn’t crowded at all. Because this resort is down a bit further away from food and shopping, Definitely rent a golf cart, and if you’re going during the peak season, reserve it ahead of time. It will take you 5 min to get to the center of Tamarindo on a golf cart. You can also easily Uber. Taxis are cash only, but you can Uber with your app. Unless you have a golf cart, grabbing a quick bite to eat is pretty much out of the question, so be sure to pick up some snacks or easy meals…. There is plenty of room in the nice kitchen. I will say that upon arrival, the upstairs area was very hot and took a while to cool down. It never got as low as we would have liked, but it wasn’t unmanageable. There were also only sheets on the twin beds when we arrived, but we found the rest of the bedding in the closets. The villa was clean, but it needs a little maintenance. There were a lot of water spots on the walls, we found a few bugs, as well as other minor flaws, but overall we were very happy with it. I wouldn’t necessarily select this villa if you’re wanting to be in the middle of the action, But if you’re like me and like to get to the action when you feel like it, but enjoy a relaxing vacation, this is a great option!

It was quick and easy to go into town, but quieter outside of town. We saw monkeys every morning and walked the beach. The beach was beautiful and very private. The house was spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. The management company was great. They were available to help with all our needs. The drive to and from the airport was easy and arranged by the management company.

Si volvería a ir principalmente por la ubicación y porque es una casa cómoda. Sin embargo, necesita un poco de “cariño” y mantenimiento. Por ejemplo , los paños están en mal estado, las sábanas viejas y en mal estado, las cortinas no son del tamaño de las ventanas y no hay blackout. El rooftop necesita mejor mantenimiento y pintura. Para una “villa de lujo” me parece que son inversiones es esenciales que deben hacer para rentarla como tal. Son detalles en el mantenimiento de una villa que se renta como propiedad de lujo.

Condo was wonderful for the location and design. It does need some updating and deep cleaning however as there was mildew all over many walls and small broken things throughout. Condo is very close to neighbors who are very anti-noise. We were simply upstairs talking one night on the terrace and had a crazy Italian woman in our living room the next screaming us. Warning.

Property was beautiful but needs updating mold on bedroom walls needs some paint and that will make it better the hot tub takes a while to get hot this was still a nice place to stay very private pool it was still worth the money we paid

We especially loved the rooftop jacuzzi where we enjoyed many a sunset. The kitchen was well outfitted, though I wish the lighting were brighter. Our housekeeper and pool attendant were lovely and both the house and the pool deck and rooftop area were immaculate. Our only disappointment was the lack of a single blow dryer (and the lighting in the kitchen).

Our family enjoyed bird watching, monkey watching, iquana watching all from the convenience of our top floor balcony. The home was beautifully designed with bathrooms for each guest room. A nice kitchen that can accomodate multiple cooks or entertaining, and a living area that was perfect for snuggling up with a good read. We had the best of all worlds. Nature, convenience, privacy, and safety...all within walking distance from a gorgeous beach, amazing sunsets, and access to wonderful dining. I would HIGHLY recommend. The staff at RPM went over and above our needs and made our stay so smooth and easy. We will definitely go again.

Very secure and attractive exterior. Unit #2 is 3 stories including the private roof top which was very nice and reason we picked it. Hot Tub only luke warm at best. Could use some updating and maintenance, including basic items like hooks on bath doors for hanging towels, and roof top arbor sanding and stain. Washer/Dryer old and leaky. Living room furniture will not accommodate 6 people for leisure and front porch furniture is in desperate need of upgrade. We are not picky people, but we really believe making some of these changes will improve the units attractiveness and function.

Other family and friends had rented huge estates which lacked the charm and quaintness of our villa, and we were the only ones with a jacuzzi which was located on the roof.From the roof we had a spectacular view of the beach[which was across the street]as well as 6 monkeys that deceided to visit one of the trees near our roof.Total privacy in a beautiful tropical paradise.Would not think twice about returning to this luxurious villa with such reasonable rates!
