Esta casa de campo del lago decorada con gusto le sorprenderá con 3 dormitorios y 2 baños en el nivel principal y un dormitorio adicional y baño completo en el nivel inferior que le da un amplio espacio para familiares y amigos. Location is fantastic. In a cove that is easy to access the main lake with some, but not a lot of boat traffic. Close to grocery store etc. House is nice and comfortable. Owners worked with us for everything we needed. Spent a lot of time swimming and on the dock. Dock provided right combination of sunny area and shade. Had a great time.

We enjoyed our second stay at The Wee Blue Inn very much. The house is clean, comfortable, and well stocked. The views of the lake are absolutely stunning. We also enjoyed the fire pit in the cooler fall temperatures.

We had a great time on our mini vacation on Gaston Lake. The house and property was great, everything you need for a great stay, very clean and lots of room. My grandson loved all the lake toys provided. We rented a boat and everyone enjoyed riding the boat and the boat toys. The fire pit was a hit also. Overall a great vacation, would stay at this property again for sure

We spent a lot of time on the dock and in the water. This part of the lake doesn't get too much traffic and a gas dock is close. Perfect getaway spot. Family loved it!

My family had a great time at this property. House was clean with plenty of room in a nice neighborhood. Excellent rental with all the things! The kids/young adults enjoyed kayaking, swimming, paddle boarding, fishing and playing games. We spent most of the day on the nice dock. The private boat ramp so close by was an added bonus. I would definitely book this property again.

Five stars from start to finish. This was a wonderful vacation for my whole family. The house is even better than we could have hoped. The private dock with all the fun water toys kept us all busy from sunup to sundown. The location was perfect for the laid back vibe we were hoping for and felt like we had our own personal spot at the lake. My kids are already asking if we can come back next year, and I can’t wait (unless we buy a place of our own :))!

Perfect repeat stay
This is our second year staying at the house. It is amazing. So fun for families. Plenty of space. The house is stocked so well. There was nothing they didn’t think of to make the stay perfect. We loved it.

Great trip, great place for about 3 regular size families.
Was a great stay, a good place for about three families, or generations, probably 10-12 people is the right size. The view, firepit, dock, quietness, balconies, etc. were all amazing. The downstairs separate suite was great for the family with small kids, still be there but away type of thing. Three full bathrooms was also great! The size of the yard, scope of the dock, and kayaks/stuff outside, was awesome for the kids and adults.
Only thing on the negative, and it's a bit of a reach, was the size of the kitchen, but there isn't much that can be done about it, they've maximized space everywhere else. It's still fully functional and we were able to cook/serve full meals for 11.
Well worth the stay! Easy 5 star rating.

Beatiful and Serene.
We enjoyed this home a lot. The house is cozy, clean , and well stocked. The view of the lake can't be beat. We also really enjoyed the fire pit. Matt, the owner, was very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Escape on Lake Gaston
The Wee Blue Inn and its property are the perfect escape for some outdoor fun, rest and relaxation. The lake setting can’t be beat and the adorable home has everything you will need. Matt was super responsive and accommodating. We hope to return every year.

We had a great time at the Wee Blue Inn.
Everything was exactly as seen & explained in the pictures and description. First time staying at this property and it will definitely NOT be the last. Love the location, the kayaks, swimming pad and place to tie up our boats. The house was very clean, the kitchen well stocked, plenty of linens and we had ample space for our group. The fire pit was awesome for s’mores and the deck & boat dock were wonderful. We had great weather and a blast swimming & skiing. Matt the owner was extremely nice and accommodating if I had any questions. Looking forward to staying here again!!!

Quiet Get-a-way
We LOVED our stay, so peaceful and quiet. The addition of the pathway and firepit were fantastic! The house was clean and well stocked with amenities and "lake toys". This was our first visit to the area and we had so much fun and will be back!

Great spot on the lake!
This location was perfect located on a large cove, it was great for swimming, tubing and skiing. Our kids loved the swimming area, the floating mat and the kayaks available for use. We will definitely come back.

Loved everything about this property. It was just as described. Had ALL of the comforts of home. Dock was perfect. Swim mat was so fun. Great location on the lake. House was clean and ready. Communication with manager was great. I don’t have a single complaint.

If I could buy a lake house - this would be it!
From the easy access to the calm water in this part of Pea Hill Creek, to the cleanliness and comfort of the house - we were blown away! We have never really been lake people, but this house changed our minds. The owner was responsive and easy to communicate with, and check-in was a breeze. There were so many times I would think - “I wish I brought X” but then realize the owners had already though of it!
Our kids jumped off the dock, swam, cruised around in the kayaks and SUPs provided. We rented a boat for two days and it was super easy to dock. We made a fire, played cornhole, and sat around the large table with board games. Linens provided made things easy too. We will definitely be back! We also met the neighbors next door that also VRBO and will be booking both houses for a large family get together soon. Thanks for making it such a special place to vacay!

Filthy dirty
Filthy dirty My wife and I had to clean for two days and the neighbor helped us he felt so bad for us He offered us to stay with him it was so dirty our realtor came to pick us up she was amazed at how filthy it is she said a lot of the houses are like that there I’m surprised VRbo would allow this The homeowner to rent a property in this condition the homeowner returned our cleaning fee once my wife sent him pictures my office will be filing a complaint with VRBO on Monday what a horrible experience I would hope VRBO would look at the pictures and videos we sent to the homeowner we had to clean the bugs from the corner of the rooms we couldn’t clean all the bugs and other under the kitchen sink smells like somebody did something in their horrible experience I don’t know how VRBO gets away with listing a property like this they need to be sued i’m curious to see if VRBO responds to me or my attorney I’m curious to see how this turns out I am so upset about this so disappointed in this this place is disgusting

Great House and Host
When you walk into the house, it is obvious that Matt and his family take great care of the house. The decor makes it feel like a home and not a rental property. The view from the back deck is awesome (take in at least one sunrise). We spent most of our time at the dock fishing and using the kayaks and paddle board. The fire pit is a great place to spend your evenings!!! This was our first time at Lake Gaston and it won't be our last!!! Thank you Matt for sharing your home with us.

Best dock on the lake
Our two families lived every minute we spent here. The roomy dock with Bluetooth speakers and super fun Lily Pad made every day so relaxing and fun! We hope to come back again next year.

Great House with Beautiful Views
We enjoyed our stay with all the fun amenities provided (kayaks, paddle boards and Lily pad). The views from the back porch were amazing. The dock was great as well! Our kids entertained themselves for hours! House location is perfect with water views from back and both sides with the way the house sits. We can't wait to come back.

Beautiful location, comfortable house with plenty of room for our big family.
House looks deceptively small but once you walk in and see the large bottom level it had plenty of space for our group (we had six kids ranging from 9-14 and four adults). The dock is huge and the kids had a blast using the floating pad that was provided and jumping straight into the deep end of the lake. There were enough kayaks and paddle boards for everyone. We have gone to this house for the last several years and plan on continuing this family tradition for many years to come!

Great Vacation 7/18 - 7/25/2020
Loved the side deck furniture and ceiling fan & the dock furniture with blue tooth and fan. Easy to find a shaded area!
Would like to have a space with a few extra towels and hand and wash cloths. It's hard to tell from the photos, but there are ~9 steps to the dock. They are in need of repair but given the blue spray paint on the lawn in that area, it looks like they are planning for some renovations. Hopefully they will add handrails for the steps, but you can walk around the perimeter of the property to reach the dock (still a wee bit difficult for anyone with mobility issues). Had fun playing Giant Jenga and really enjoyed the Smart TV. The number of water activities available -- paddleboard, kayak, and canoe equipment plus a swim pad -- made for a really great fun-filled lake vacation. Communication with the owner (Matt) was excellent.

A relaxing lake house and great host
House has a very nice lot and amenities. Owners are obviously vested in the house and have made some updates since last year. Lake is a nice escape, and the kayaks/paddle boards are great and kept in good shape. Dock has fan, bluetooth speakers, and nice seating .... so you should spend your time outside. House is well prepared so bring your beach towels, boating stuff, and relax [Nice upgrade over houses requiring sheets and inside towels.... just one more thing to pack]. Thanks Matt. Hope to be back next year.

We had the best family vacation!
Our family of 4, my sister’s family of 4, and my father all stayed the week at the Wee Blue Inn. It was fabulous!!! It had everything you could need to enjoy this beautiful lake. We brought our boat and tethered it to the dock at the boat house, which was amazing and relaxing. All of us enjoyed using the SUPs and the kayaks. The house was perfect for us and the yard allowed for games and relaxing in the hammock!
It was truly paradise and we will be back!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The dock and kayaks were a big plus. Fishing excellent! An older grandson from one family taught the youngest from another to fish. He was beyond thrilled to catch his 1st fish followed by a dozen more! All released. Comfortable accommodations for all. Even rain the last day didn't dampen our spirits.

Precious little blue paradise
We enjoyed a lovely 4 nights here. Our favorites about the house were the deck and docks spaces. At the lake those make a house and this house is amazing with seating, lightening, views, music and just overall comfort! We loved the kayaks and just relaxing! The house was beyond comfortable for our family of 5. I loved the decor and how they took an older house and really made it cute, clean, modern and comfy. Would definitely recommend to friends.

The homes dock is perfect for the kids and very easy to put in boats 100 feet away .cove is very large and perfect for tubing and such for the water stays very calm .will go every summer with no need to experience a different spot for this is exactly what we hoped for

Great home with a great location
We had a great time staying at this home. It is located on a nice, large, quiet cove. The space was perfect for our family with plenty of bedrooms for everyone. We had a so much fun hanging out at the dock and using the paddleboards and kayaks. The owner was very easy to work with. Overall, it was a perfect week spent at the lake.
