Situada en la hermosa playa de Jamaica junto al Parque Estatal de Galveston, la casa acaba de completar una reciente renovación completa y es el hogar ideal para una escapada de vacaciones multifamiliar. "Paradise Cove" cuenta con una nueva plataforma de pesca / botes, cocina, baños, parrilla nueva, bicicletas, kayaks, tablero de dardos y mucho más. La impresionante ubicación frente al mar ofrece una excelente vista de la puesta de sol sobre el agua, así como una brisa fresca del océano.
Te sentirás como en casa con encimeras de granito, amplia cocina y electrodomésticos nuevos. Los grupos grandes son absolutamente bienvenidos, ya que la casa está amueblada con tres literas (matrimoniales y gemelas) y tres camas queen que dormirán cómodamente a 13 personas. La sala de estar del piso principal cuenta con un área muy espaciosa pero acogedora con un televisor de alta definición de 58 "para entretener. Las grandes mesas de comedor por dentro y por fuera se sientan 14 o más y se proporcionan todos los utensilios de cocina necesarios. Tres baños completos remodelados no ofrecen tiempo de espera. Una habitación contiene dos literas gemelas, para que cuatro niños disfruten de permanecer juntos. En cuartos separados en el primer nivel hay un cuarto dormitorio con cama queen, litera, baño completo y sala de estar conveniente para que toda una familia se quede junta.

My sister owned a beach house just a few blocks away on Jamaica beach so wanted to visit the area again.

We enjoyed the large kitchen and dining area for entertaining. There was plenty of sleeping space with very comfortable beds and soft sheets. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. We used the downstairs outside area for visiting and grilling. The property provided everything we needed and expected.

The house had everything we needed for our 3 day Memorial Day weekend. Teens really enjoyed the kayaks, fishing, and just hanging out swimming in the canal. Not a far drive or bike down to the beach and a very great community! We also went to the community pool for a bit which the kids enjoyed as well. We really enjoyed our stay and had some great quality family time!

Our family had a great time at the house. There were 11 of us and we had plenty of room. We enjoyed having the kayaks to explore the canals. We look forward to staying again!

The house was just as listed. The kitchen was stocked with all of t GG e utensils and appliances needed for the weekend. The kids enjoyed the kayaks and floats. The only thing was the boat launch. You have to get a permit to park your vehicle and trailer at the boat launch or you will be fined. It was a little unclear if you needed the permit to just launch as I did. I drove back and parked truck and trailer at the house. I didn't get a ticket, but I may have just been lucky. All in all a Great weekend with the kids and grandkids.

Friends weekend in Jamaica Beach and this place worked perfectly. Only issue was the fish weren’t biting, but not the owners fault. Will definitely stay again.

Our group of family and friends enjoyed our stay in this quiet neighborhood home on the canal. Teens enjoyed having access to kayaks along with adults enjoying the bicycles provided. The open living area was great and accommodated all of us together. Great time had by all!

Great place to stay, lots of features. TV is not functioning with DVD/Blu-ray. Upper deck needs replacement. Most nails are a tripping hazard with a few rotten boards. Beds are more like bricks with sheets. Grill needs gas.

We enjoyed the property and amenities. The dock was great for watching fish and for easy access to our boat we brought. The house was clean and had easy to clean hard surfaces for flooring and countertops which is perfect for a beach area rental. AC worked great and was needed during the hot and humid Texas heat to recuperate.

Nice experience. Enjoyed it being in the cove of the canal so we could swim and fish without worrying about boat traffic. Kids enjoyed kayaks and bikes. Good A/C. Recommend bringing your own pillows though. Big kitchen with lots of countertop space to accommodate big group

My family spends a week in Galveston every summer, and this house was amazing, one of the best we have rented. The kitchen was so big, and the living area was huge. All the upstairs bedrooms were very roomy. The kitchen was well supplied. The only thing we found lacking was a mixing bowl. We used the 4 cup measuring cup which worked for what we needed. The guys enjoyed the privacy of the downstairs bedroom as well as the second fridge for their cokes and beer. One big selling point was the breezeway. It has been a while since we have had a house that had such a great spot to sit outside and visit. There was always a nice breeze even in the middle of the afternoon. The only suggestion I would have is to add a black out curtain or blinds to the window in the Master bedroom bath. I was very hard to do anything with hair or makeup with the glare from the window on the mirror. Yeah, I know. That is just nitpicking. The family is already asking if I will rent it again next year. The owner responded to my questions very quickly. All in all, I would highly recommend this house.

Our family always has a good time. We were disappointed in the house- especially for the price. The TV had 4 channels- not good on a big football day. The mattresses and linens were not good and we were afraid only one kayak was canal worthy. They did like the bikes and the kitchen was fine and house was very clean.

All of my family enjoyed our weekend at this lovely canal home. The house was clean, lots of kitchenware to use, plenty of towels, spices and even a few basic canned goods in the pantry for cooking . Pretty quilts on the bunk beds too! Everyone wished we could have stayed longer! My 83 yr old parents liked the downstairs suite, the air conditioning was nice and cool, they had a refrigerator for their drinks and snacks and a private bathroom with a shower that had a ledge to sit on. The stairs to the deck were not steep at all, more like half steps so they made it upstairs easily to enjoy the view 😁. The upstairs had a huge deck with benches all around. The teens enjoyed the bunk room, boating in the canal, fishing from the deck and even made use of the kitchen oven to bake cookies. My grandkids , ages 5 and 3, used the many beach toys and mini surf boards that were in the garage and had fun at the beach everyday. We had a family BBQ, took lots of family pics at the house especially on the deck with the nice view. My brother “Rex DelRey”, a YouTube fisherman & entrepreneur took everyone out boating then enjoyed night fishing from the backyard! The green underwater lights attracted many so fish 🐠, at times they were jumping out of the water! We ended our weekend by putting solar lights out on the deck, the kids played games and we had a birthday cake for my daughters best friend. Everyone had a great time!

We stayed
We arrived at our check-in time, and the cleaning crew was still there. Maybe it’s because they rushed, but the place seemed not as clean as the listing indicated. There was a dead squid on the driveway, which drew an unpleasant amount of flies. The deck railing was a safety hazard for our children. To say the place sleeps 14 is a BIT of a stretch.
We loved having access to things like kayaks, fishing supplies, and crab traps! We loved the location. We are grateful we were able get ahold of the host (David) when we needed him.
