Really enjoyed our stay and exploring all the Exumas have to offer. The house was a short walk to a mostly private beach. We had everything that we needed for cooking and going to the beach. Owners easy to get in touch with and fixed one issue right away.

Everything that the add listed was there and more. Private, very clean, and everything we needed and many things that we didn’t need but we’re there in case (full kitchen). Owners responded to any questions very quickly. Check in was simple and easy. 2 min walk to beach that had no other people during our stay. Right in the middle of the island, 5 mins from the airport. Clean towels and bedding. We will definitely be booking again next year. Highly reccomend!!!

My partner and I spent one night in this beautiful cottage, and I wished I had extended my business trip in to a true weekend vacation. Immaculate and comfortable accommodations. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit, hopefully for a longer period.

This property was perfect and had everything we needed! It was my third trip to Exuma and I brought my 16 year old daughter and 2 year old son and we were there for 10 days. The home was open and clean and had all the amenities that you need. I loved that they had all you need for the beach! You have to rent a car so that you can explore the island at your own will. There is a book that past guests have written in to give you tons of tips and great places to visit and to eat! Thank you so much!!

These owners have truly thought of everything. The villa was fully equipped much like your own home. Very clean and well located to coco plum beach and other beautiful beaches. Exactly like the pictures have shown and very timely communication with the owners. We needed a drill to put together a high chair we brought. It was delivered right away and the owners even offered to buy the high chair from us so they could have it for future guests! Comfortable beds and spacious rooms. I even used the hair straightener in the bathroom and it was better than the one I have at home!

This place has all the comforts of home and is just a short drive from the airport, and about half distance from "both ends" of the island. Just across the road is the ocean and a very nice beach but not sure if it is actually accessible w/o passing thru the resident's property (whom we were vacationing with, so wasnt an issue for us). Property was clean, comfortable and just as described.

This home was absolutely perfect! We came to Exuma with another couple to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. We picked this house because it had two king beds, excellent reviews, and was centrally located to everything. We loved everything about it and hope to come back!!

The accommodations were as exactly shown. The property was quaint and enjoyable both interior and exterior. Very clean and spacious and the beds were comfortable and restful. Only suggestion is its is time for a new sofa--extremely uncomfortable and the lounge cushion section supports have failed. Otherwise--would not hesitate to recommend!

I have visited Exuma several times over the last 5 years but this was probably my best experience so far. We loved everything about the house and the location. We will be back to Canuck Palms!

A wondefull stay in that so pretty villa. Everything was just as perfect as expected in our dreams to visit Exuma. The outdoor shower was so good when coming back "home" after a full beach day. The bridge provided us to have a perfect view on the milky-way in a quite and relaxing late evening. The bedrooms was very confortable and clean. It was very hard for all the family to leave "Canuck Palms" at the end of our journey. Many thanks again Brett and Heather for this perfect rent house.

Great house with all the extras! Truly a lovely home with all the creature comforts... Plus the beds make a for a good nights sleep.

We really enjoyed this spacious well equipped home with 2 very large bedrooms and great comfy beds. Although it is not on the beach it is only a short 3 minute walk to it. It is close to a convenience and liquor store while there is plenty of cooking equipment and a BBQ to eat in comfortably. You need a car as you are 20-30 minutes from Georgetown and about 10-15 minutes from the airport. Very nice indeed .....

Forget the Hotels/Resorts This is a MUST stay experience !! This home is Clean, Spacious and Gorgeous. We stayed with 2 other adults and had more than enough room to hang out, cook together and just relax. The deck is a great hang out to get some sun, BBQ, grab a drink and enjoy the Peaceful beautifully landscaped yard and hear the waves crashing on the beach. The outdoor shower was one of our favorite features, this will be a must have in our next home. Brett & Heather have been the best hosts, they were always available recommending beaches, local restaurants, rental & airport info. We stayed 5 nights and had the best time !! Their home is close to everything, I feel we got the full Island experience and saw some incredible sights. We look forward to staying with them again. We (reluctantly) just left Exuma and our family is already scheming our next visit! Brett and Heather's home was absolutely perfect for our needs and they attended to all the details that made our stay that much sweeter! Towels, water gear, umbrella's, water toys all stocked to enjoy. A spotless and comfortable home and, ooohhh, the beaches! They were so responsive and helpful through the whole process and Cynthia, the property manager, was an absolute sweetheart! We just loved Exuma and we loved Canuck Palms. We will definitely and we are already looking forward to this being our home base again. Thank you all!

We just returned from a 5 day stay and everything was terrific! This place is so homey and Brett and Heather were great hosts. From the time I booked, until the day we left, they were always helpful. When we had questions about the house or where to eat, they were very prompt in answering emails or messages. I highly recommend staying at Canuck Palms!

Loved the house. It had everything you could need. The kids were sad take their last walk on the beach here today. We would definitely come back!!!!!

My husband and I have been to Exuma before and rented a different house, but decided to try Canuck palms being it was a little smaller and came with more, and it was perfect! The directions to the house were so detailed and spot on, and being minutes from the airport we found the house less then an hour after we got off the plane. Loved having the key lock outside, so when you left you knew you would be able to get back in! The house itself was SUPER clean and wasn't lacking in anything necessary to enjoy your stay! The outdoor shower was used well to get the day's sand and stickiness off of us! Great feature to the house! The only complaint I could think of was the sofa in the living room tried to swallow my husband the first day, but made for good teasing the rest of the trip! I won't go on about what to do on the island, because all the research in the world will tell you about how perfect this gem of an island is, but Jim and I will definitely be back, and will have no hesitation to stay here again! PS- when you do stay here- take a night, load yourself with bugspray, turn off all the lights and sit outside on the deck and look up. The amount of stars and satellites above you are astonishingly beautiful and plentiful!!! We stayed out there for at least an hour several times!!!

Canuck Palms was the perfect house for our family during our stay in Exuma. The house was very clean, and had everything we needed for our week's stay, from extra towels to snorkel gear! We used the outdoor shower daily, and the grill on the back deck several times during our stay. The landscaping in the front and back yards is just beautiful, and we loved seeing "Batman the bird" and the black butterfly in the garden each morning. The house is in a great location; close to Georgetown, but far enough away that it feels very private. The beach (just across the street) is beautiful! It was not as calm as many of the other beaches we visited, but great for jumping waves! Thank you Heather and Brett for answering every question we had, and for all of your great tips. We would definitely recommend Canuck Palms to friends and family (and already have!), and look forward to future travels to Exuma and Canuck Palms!

Property was clean, great amenities, close to a wonderful private beach and well situated on the island. We brought our teenage daughter to the Bahamas for her graduation and had an excellent time on the Exumas, already planning my retirement as a result of the trip. Water was epically beautiful, the local folk were exceptionally nice and welcoming. Will do it again without question

We loved the cleanliness and great decor and comfort of the place. One of my favorite things was the outdoor shower. Quite private and had warm water which is a huge plus! Every amenity was thought of and provided. Easy to work with owners and very responsive! Highly recommend!

My wife and I were here in February 2017. We didn't want to pay for Sandals but wanted to be on Exuma. This villa was perfect. Two bedrooms were large, central AC in the house worked well. The wifi was good. We only used the TV for a little bit of superbowl watching. The kitchen is well equipped. A decent grocery store is in Georgetown "Exuma Market". We made egg sandwiches for breakfast every day and had some snacks and lunch meat for beach days. There is a liquor store just north about 200 yards on the main road. They had a great selection of quality snorkel gear and had four beach chairs as well. The outdoor shower was a nice touch. The back deck is very private as well. Great place to lounge and listen to the waves. You can walk to a beach in about three minutes out the back door that was deserted. For navigation, have Google maps on your phone. The GPS will move your dot around the island on the map for you even without cell data. Search for destination on Wifi. Highly recommend going to "Cocoplum beach" at low tide. From the house, turn right onto the main road and drive about 15 minutes. You'll see a place on the left with three roads splitting and keep going straight another minute or so. There's a large blue rectangular trash container and turn right here. Half mile up is the beach on a rocky road. Incredible sand bars, sand dollars, and completed deserted. Also a trip to Little Exuma is worth it for part of a day. Tropic of Cancer beach and the two just north of it along the coast are amazing. Restaurants are slim on the island. Catch a Fire is decent and a good place for a sunset. There is a community of shacks just north of Georgetown that will cook freshly caught fish and is worth checking out. "February point" had a nice restaurant as well. We went there at 11:45a in the car and got to lounge by their pool while waiting for the restaurant to open at noon. Also free Wifi. We did a boat tour with "Four C's Adventures" that was $180 for full day. It included the thunderball grotto, swim with pigs, iguanas, sight seeing private islands and a nice sandbar stop. The marina is off one of the splits in the road to the north. If you like to truly get away and relax in an incredible private setting, this villa on Exuma is for you. If you need to be waited on and lounge by the pool for a week and miss all the incredible sites, then go to Sandals. You CAN bring drones to the island but you have to apply for a permit online before.

My husband and two young boys (ages 5 and 8) had the most wonderful vacation here and can't say enough good things about our rental on the beach. This place has everything you need. It's all there and is such a great, central location. We would be off on our daily adventures and it was so nice to come back and have wifi, barbeque on deck, plenty of fans and AC, comfortable beds, and washer and dryer. The decor is lovely and Heather and Brett are not the type to leave you hanging, answering any question/concerns within an hour. They have all the bases covered! The only negative is when we had to go home.

My friend Danielle and I stayed at this beautiful home for five nights. It was absolutely perfect, clean and had all the amenities a five star resort would offer. The King beds were super comfortable, Linens and robes were provided and we were a two min walk to the beach! Heather was super helpful and answered any questions we had, gave suggestions on places to eat and things to do. I highly recommend this property and I will be sure to recommend it to all my friends.
