Stayed here with a few family members this past weekend. Weather was amazing, Rideout's Hideout was a great, easy spot for a small - midsize group. We didn't stay here as much during the days as our extended family rented another, bigger place nearby. We mainly just slept here. Slept well though, and public beach access is practically right there. Thanks again!!

Good spot right behind the sea vista motel which is beachfront on south end of the island, which is less crowded. You can see the ocean on both sides of the motel from the spacious deck. 2 outside showers with good pressure and temp. House is small 1.5 baths 3bd but worked well for 5 of us. Bring linen, towels, paper towels/TP, all toiletries. Everything else there. Would return.

My family had an amazing stay. The place was just as described with the right amount of space plus some for a family of five. The beach was super convenient and walkable and the outdoor showers were refreshing and kept the sand out of the house. Games and bunk beds were a hit for the kids. We will definitely be back!

It’s so hard to find a nice, small place to stay so close to my favorite beach. This house suits me and my pup (& my sis when she can) perfectly. Not fancy (though recent updates have been welcomed), it is VERy comfortable. It’s clean, well maintained, and at reasonable cost for one or two retired people. I’ll go back as often as I can.

A really great beach house! It had everything we needed and was close to the beach. The outdoor shower was probably the nicest we’ve had. Very easy for showering off sandy kids. The gated deck was really nice for our dogs. Looking forward to our next trip.

We are repeat renters and plan to return next year as well. This is the perfect size for me and my husband and pups although it could comfortably fit more. Great location, close enough to public access without having people walking by all the time. It is a well-loved place which we are fine with, we are looking for comfort not perfection. The owners are very responsive / easy to communicate with.

It was perfect for the 4 adults we had and could have handled more. It was clean and comfortable and was in an easy to access location. We could walk across the street and be on the beach in a couple of minutes and had good views. I wouldn't hesitate to rent it again!

Was perfect for our smaller family and friend group. Decor and furniture is high quality, and lovely. Really had everything you could need in kitchen, comfortable, easy access to beach and in walking distance of serenity point. House has a lot of space around it. It was very hot August week, and we enjoyed the AC after being outside, and all the fans in every room. The extra powder room between master and the bunk room was good. All in our group want to go back, 18-55.

What a wonderful home and location. The end of the island is quiet, the walk to the beach is very short. The beach is PERFECT, clean, dog friendly, fisherman friendly, the whole package. The beach on the point was one of our favorite places... shallow, easy to swim, clear water, and a crab haven. The home is sweet to stay in, well set up, we had awesome seafood we cooked in the kitchen with the supplies available. We can't wait to return. The deck has two lockable gates so dogs or little kids can be safely locked on the deck. Fantastic place to vacation.

Loved this little beach house! Great location to be able to access the beach without driving. It’s a good 20-25 minute drive to most of the restaurants, but we have been going to topsail for years and knew this before we booked the house. It’s on a quiet street, with pretty good views & a quiet neighborhood. The wrap around porch is wonderful, and loved rocking in the chairs in the afternoons. We will definitely be back!
