The house was just as pictured. Very close to the lake. When we got there-the house was unlocked and all the windows were open. I don’t know if this was intentional or not.
The house was clean-but the floors were very dusty, as was the furniture. This may have been because the windows were left open.

Great stay by the water
Was such a fun place to get together. A very short walk to the lake. And a short drive to casinos. This property is a great location. Didn’t receive check in information and the owners were super quick to help out and were in communication anytime we needed something. The only complaint is there were some cobwebs that I felt could have been cleaned a little better but other than that this was an amazing stay. Had plenty of games and dvds! Highly recommend this place.

This was our second stay at this wonderful cabin and we can’t wait to stay here again this summer! We are a family of five with three young boys and the lay out is perfect. A family of four joined us for two days during our stay and there was more than enough room. It’s spotless, the location is perfect and the hot tub is great after a long day on the slopes or at the beach. Great restaurants nearby and South Lake has so many things to do! Can’t wait to come back!

Family Christmas Tahoe teip
The house was the perfect size for our family of 5. Plenty of bedroons and a nice family room. Also the hot tub was amazing especially since it was located right on the back deck, easy access. Alao, the location was perfect, right next to the Lake. We walked to the Lake and were able to stroll along the bank and enjoy the view. Near all the amenities (grocery, Starbucks, shopping and Heavenly). Would definitely stay here again.

My family and I had a wonderful time. From the children in our group ages 2-5 to all the adults we all enjoyed ourselves. The home was clean and spacious and centrally located and near many stores and state line . Gail was quick to answer any questions I had. I would definitely recommend the home to others.

Awesome Thanksgiving trip.
We rented this property for a Thanksgiving get away with our small family. Everything was just as described, all the amenities and even more. The kitchen has everything you need(probably even more than I have at home). The rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable. Loved sitting in the hot tub in the evening and the walk to the lake was perfect. The house was very clean even though the cleaner was a little late in having us come in due to previous guests leaving the house a mess, she did an amazing job. I brought cleaning supplies and didn’t have to use them at all. We definitely need want to come back.

Family Tahoe getaway
Easy walk to extremely small beach area, possibly due to high water levels, but worked well for our grandchildren. Also close to needed shopping/groceries etc. Supplied with some beach chairs and a high chair, stroller and pack and play which was very helpful. Backyard was basically dirt so dusty and got tracked into house easily and wood floor left our feet black. Area has tight noise limits starting at 10pm which made use of the hot tub and fire table, both nice amenities, challenging for our family who would have liked to be outside much later after finally getting the children to sleep. Unclear how you would seat 12 people as stated around the dining room table, but there were three seats at kitchen counter and sometime we ate in shifts or outside. Friendly neighbors, but unfortunately some sort of large group in cars took over the park area on two evenings and had to be chased off by the police. Owner very responsive when called about ceiling lighting not working in living room, broken garbage disposal and low propane for grill and fire table. Sent someone over to handle. Unfortunately lighting could not be fixed during our visit and living room was fairly dark even with lamps. Overall visit was enjoyable and home worked for our family.

Absolutely wonderful home!
This home is cozy and perfect! Impeccably clean, very comfortable beds/pillows, fully stocked kitchen, incredible location and receptive and nice owners. We have three young boys and there were plenty of games, a crib, stroller, kiddy cups/plates and even a spa outside to relax in before bed. We loved this home so much that we stayed an extra day!

Beautiful mountain home in beautiful setting
We stayed here last year for a new family tradition--meeting up for a holiday gathering--and as we did last year, had a wonderful time. This home is lovely, warm, welcoming. The neighborhood is very conveniently located. The lake is visible from the living room and a short block away. Walking to open space at the end of Lakeview is easy and beautiful--one can walk along the shore for a ways far from traffic. As before, the property is clean, well-maintained, beds very comfortable and has a lovely large kitchen with open floor plan so great place for all to gather! Gail and Rich are easily reached and very helpful. Highly recommended!

Great Stay
This house is very well located for a group wishing to be located in the South Lake Tahoe area. In particular, it is literally steps away from a beach, and within a mile or so of a large Safeway and the Heavenly Valley ski lift/resort. Solid places to eat nearby.
The house has been redone in the upstairs bedrooms/bathrooms, which are v ery nice and feature upscale amenities (like robes, etc.) New double laundry is very nice.. Downstairs also very comfortable, though a little dated, esp. the gas fireplace (which is a manual-light, rather than auto/switch) and kitchen cabinets (which are tired and worn. The house has new kitchen appliances, which are nice. Hot tub is small for a house that sleeps 12, but is convenient to the back door. Parking is tough in this neighborhood, though this is just Tahoe and not the owner's problem - they have the required number of spaces. I would suggest some better cleaning in the kitchen between guests, some upgrading of pots/pans and cooking utensils and when the weather permits, some attention to the exterior of the house. The 'arrival experience' was not great in this house, but the owners were very helpful and we did have a great time. A little polish would make this place a real gem in Tahoe.

WONDERFUL
We stayed in this wonderful cabin for my wife's 30th bday with a bunch of friends. The house had everything we could have needed including wonderful kitchen amenities for us to use to cook. In addition, the house had a wonderful sitting area, backyard space, and plenty of room for everyone!
Everyone loved the house, the views, and how close it was to the lake. We walked to the little beach near the lake house and the walk took all of 45 seconds or so from the house! It was fantastic to be so close to the lake and to smell the fresh lake all day long!
It was a short walk to the nearest stores, a short lyft ride to stateline and the village, and not too far from everywhere in south lake that you would want to go to.
Gail was very responsive and helped us prepare for our stay so that when we arrived, we were extremely prepared and ready for everything. We had no issues at all with the house, rooms, water, space, cleanliness ETC - everything was wonderful. The only issue we had was when we had to check out and leave this beautiful cabin!! We will happily stay here again in the future!!

This place was great!
We had 7 people staying for a week in Tahoe. This house was great! It was a block from the water and close to the main South Lake Tahoe areas that you would need.
Being rental property owners ourselves, it was awesome to see that this place was fully stocked with extra towels, bedding, and any kitchen supplies you would need including spices and things for cooking!
The only minor issue we had was with the previous renters. They did not compact their trash and it spilled all over the place when opening the bear bin. We also had to finish their laundry to be able to use the washer and dryer ourselves.
Other than that, we had an amazing time and this place was perfect for what we needed!

Overall experience was great. We stayed for two nights and three days. Their home was close and convenient to groceries stores, shopping mall and the casino. Although parking was tight spaced and issues with the jet tub upstairs did not deter how wonderful the home is especially during these snowy days. Kitchen was spacious for 4-5 people to cook in, large living room space perfect for game board/movie nights and bed soft as clouds you definitely can feel the hard work Rich & Gail put in their home. Yes it is! We came for a weekend and felt really at home. The cabin is well equipped and very comfortable, especially the beds. The one downstairs bedroom with nearby bath was perfect for my grandmother who's not doing so well with stairs these days. Other than a malfunctioning corkscrew, my only complaint would be that while I understood the rules on the hot tub curfew, I felt uninformed of the noise intolerant neighbors. Though our party of four received no complaints, I feel certain that if the six or so other more boisterous family members had been able to attend, we would have quite easily garnered some attention. Overall great experience!

We were in town for my daughters wedding and needed a place to stay for the family. There were 12 of us and it worked out great. Everyone had a bed to sleep in with 2 people on the pullout couch in the loft. The property is smaller than it appears in the photos but I guess that is to be expected. It is a beautiful home, great kitchen, 1 minute walk to the lake. Everyone had a great time. There are only 2 bathrooms through. We ended up renting a hotel room for my daughter to get ready for the wedding because occupying the master bath for any length of time would not have worked out with 12 people in the house! Overall great and we would definitely come back!

Had a wonderful time. The house was clean and have TV at every bedrooms, some even have Internet Roku players. Internet access (WIFI) at the house was fast. Would definitely rent this house again if available next time I have a family gathering at Tahoe.
Minor gripe: The AC in the house is not that cold. Even when turned on, it did not cool the house up that much. Luckily, most of the bedrooms have ceiling fan, except for the 1st floor bedroom. Otherwise, we had a wonderful time.
