The Regent House is absolutely fabulous! It was such a historic and beautiful home on a quiet, picturesque street yet a couple short blocks from the Main Street in downtown Niagara-On-The-Lake. Becoming increasingly rare these days were Melissa and Paul’s personal touch and warmth. They met us promptly our day of arrival to give us a full tour and show us how everything worked. All of the furniture, appliances and features were high end and very comfortable. All 5 bedrooms also had en-suite bathrooms which was huge convenience for the group. The kitchen was well stocked and we immediately felt at home. Paul and Melissa were highly communicative and responsive throughout.One of the things we appreciated the most is that the hosts don’t require the cumbersome cleaning, etc. that many VBRO hosts require upon check out. All they required was for the doors to be locked. This was such a breath of fresh air as so many hosts want you to clean extensively; even though you typically pay a huge cleaning fee regardless. Thank you and we will definitely stay again!

This home is a real gem and Paul and Melissa are excellent hosts! Our family enjoyed relaxing in the comfy family room and back deck area. The beds were super cozy and everyone appreciated their own en suite bath.

Absolutely perfect for our family of 8 adults and 2 grandchildren. Each couple had privacy of en-suite rooms and the gathering places of the dining room, tv room and gardens were great for everyone. Hosts were fantastic, location was ideal. Enjoyed our stay so much

Every year my friends and I pick a different location to bike ride and sightsee. This year we chose to visit Niagara-on-the-Lake. After careful research we decided to stay at Regent House. What a wise decision! The owners couldn’t have been nicer. They met us at the house and explained the history and nuances of this historic home. Regent House is beautiful and very comfortable. The bedrooms were luxurious and tastefully decorated. We all commented on how incredibly soft the sheets were. They thought of everything their guests might need. The exterior was equally as beautiful. There were flowers everywhere. The owner designed and maintains the beautiful landscaping. Every morning we had our coffee while enjoying the surrounding colors, inducing peace and tranquillity. We were also in walking distance to shopping and fine dining. Lovely wineries abound. We may have partaken in taste testing after riding. I could go on and on about this quaint vacation spot. It was a perfect getaway.

Regent House is beautifully maintained with spectacular gardens. Our hosts went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was perfect. Our group consisted of 4 couples and Regent House met our needs perfectly with 5 en-suite bedrooms. We appreciated the attention to detail and the sheets and bath towels were top notch. The home’s proximity into the heart of NOTL made our daily explorations of the area easy and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this jewel of a property.

This house is amazing and was perfect for our 4 couples for our annual trek to the Icewine Festival. The kitchen is huge and very well appointed, the bedrooms are beautiful and very keeping with the age of the home. The proximity to Queen street is also perfect, just a few blocks!! Would highly recommend and will be back!!!

Our travel group has stayed at numerous vacation rentals. The Regent House is one of the best we've stayed at. We had a group of 8 and there was plenty of room for us to relax by ourselves or sit and chat together. Being only two blocks from the historic district, we walked everywhere. Everyone was telling me all weekend what a great choice I made in accommodations. Super happy with our stay and would definetly book again!

Five of us were lucky enough to enjoy a stay at Regent House from July 16-20. The house is the perfect marriage of sophistication and comfort. The hosts, Melissa and Paul are warmly welcoming and immediately responsive. The house is immaculate and the garden is beautiful and peaceful. All of this and it is easy walking distance to Queens Street. If this isn't an ideal place to enjoy Niagara -on-the-Lake, I don't know what is.

Annually, we take a “girl cousins” trip to a new destination. This year we visited Niagara on the Lake, and we could not have been happier with our choice. Melissa and Paul were very gracious hosts, had excellent communication and the property was gorgeous. Each bedroom is beautifully decorated and has its own bathroom. Easily accessible to downtown with a beautiful walk. We cannot wait to return…. Highly recommend!

We rented this property for a family get together for 5 days to enjoy beautiful Niagara on the Lake. It was meticulously maintained and had plenty of space for 4 generations of family. Melissa and Paul were exceptionally helpful and wonderful hosts.

A perfect rental for a large group in Niagara on the Lake. Having 5 bedrooms all with their own bathrooms worked out beautifully for our group of 8 adults. Plenty of space to spread out in the family room with comfortable chairs and couch and large screen TV. Dining room has a large table easily seating 10. Kitchen well supplied, backyard private and has a large outdoor table and chairs.
Less than two blocks from Queen street downtown, easy walk to theaters. Melissa and Paul met us upon check-in and were always immediately responsive to any questions or issues.
House and yard were meticulously clean. First class rental experience.

A group of 8 of us celebrated a 40th birthday and had an amazing time at this home. Paul and Melissa are extremely friendly and communicative and made the entire rental process very easy. They greeted us at the home and showed us around (helpful for such a large space). All beds were extremely comfortable, the en suite for each room was a great feature, and the kitchen was very well stocked (handheld mixer, plenty of mixing and serving bowls, good knife set, nice pots and pans and baking sheets to name a few things). Each room was nicely decorated and even better than the photos online. The proximity to town is less than a 5 minute walk and the neighborhood is beautiful to walk around. You’re also less than 10 minutes walk to the water. None of us had anything bad to say about our stay and would love to go back!

The Regent House is a lovely restored home in the historic district of NOTL. The house has several indoor/outdoor spaces and the updated kitchen met all our needs. Our hosts were very helpful with suggestions on things to do and places to eat. In addition, we could park our cars and walk into the city, restaurants, and theaters. We had a great time and would consider a repeat visit.

This house was the perfect place for our family to stay while attending my nieces wedding. We were able to relax together and privately due to all of the spaces inside and out. The kitchen was very well equipped for family meals and the beds were the most comfortable I have ever experienced in a rental. Paul and Melissa were very welcoming and accommodating. We will definitely be returning to Regent House.

Staying at The Regent House
The Regent House is as lovely as it’s owners, Paul & Melissa. The location is perfect! Quiet street within walking distance to anything and everything that Niagara on the Lake has to offer. We packed in several restaurants, shops as well as a few wineries.
Would love another trip to Canada and will definitely stay at The Regent Hoysecagdin. Thank you Paul & Melissa

Amazing property
We were a group of 10 looking for a long weekend getaway. Melissa and Paul were great hosts. Communication was excellent. Location is perfect for restaurants and shops and the house was a great size for our group. All the beds were comfortable and backyard was beautiful with plenty of seating. We cooked quite a bit and the kitchen was well equipped. Thanks Melissa and Paul!

Perfect in every way!
Our group of 8 (4 couples) started planning our trip to Niagara Falls, and we decided to stay in Niagara on the Lake. We chose the Regent House because it had it all, bedrooms with a bathroom for all. The accommodations are second to none. Equipped kitchen and a beautiful garden area to sit and relax. Paul and Melissa were wonderful to work with. They gave us great recommendations on where to eat and wineries to visit. We all would have loved to have had more time to spend at the house and Niagara on the Lake. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for family
We attended a family wedding in Niagara and this home was perfect for 3 adult couples and children. Having ensuite bathrooms made getting ready for the wedding so easy and the backyard patio space was delightful.

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect vacation! Paul and Melissa were amazing hosts, going above and beyond to make sure that our stay was exactly what we needed!
The house itself is gorgeous! Every detail is immaculate. The space is curated to provide a sense of comfort and familiarity through the hand selected luxurious furnishings and finishes.
The kitchen was such a pleasure to use! The beds were extremely comfy and the living room couch is amazing!
The selection of games and blu-rays was an awesome touch.
The backyard was by far the best feature. A lovely, relaxing garden that is perfect to have breakfast in or unwind at night and enjoy the fireflies at night!
Regent House’s location is very convenient as well, being just a few blocks from anything you would in NOTL.
We can’t wait to come back!

Nothing short of perfect!
This is our second trip to Regent House. Everything is perfect — from the sheets, to the movies and games. It’s location is ideal and every single feature and appliance is top notch. Especially love that the kitchen is stocked with top shelf pans, pots, blender, crock pot, coffee, garbage bags, etc! Love this home and it’s wonderful owners!

Our stay at Paul and Melissa’s house was perfect! The house and grounds are beautifully maintained. The furnishings in the house are lovely and comfortable. The kitchen is extremely well stocked. The house is even nicer than the photos suggest. Paul and Melissa were quick to respond to any question we had before and during our stay.

This was a wonderful property rental, run by wonderful hosts.Paul and Melissa met us on our arrival and showed us around the home. It has been well appointed and maintained with loving care and attention to detail. It was really close to the shops and restaurants on Queen Street, but far enough to feel quiet and cozy after our outings.I would definitely stay there again and recommend the Regent House to anyone visiting the love town of Niagara-on-the-Lake.
