We had a great time! Would definitely rent again!

We stayed with a group of friends and our little ones and the house was perfect. A great amount of space to get away when needed and sit down together either inside or out whenever we wanted. Steps to Sandhills beach and easy walk into the harbor. Ping pong table in the garage was a huge bonus! Only callout is with most coastal homes (and a few inches of rain in 24 hours) was some wet carpeting in the screened porch and a leak coming in the the upstairs hallway. Just needs a little updating, but a wonderful home. Would gladly stay again...sign us up for next summer.

Thanks, Fred, for suitable gathering spot for a family reunions with groups coming in from different corners of the states. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach and other activities. It was a delightful visit.

The view from the 2nd floor balcony was exquisite and the house beautifully decorated and comfortable; however, the maintenance left a lot of room for improvement. The landlord was nice and seemed to want to please, but we got tired of calling about broken and missing amenities. However, when we had a plumbing emergency, he got it taken care of very fast.Most important to note: there are 4 bedrooms on the 2nd floor, but no hall bathroom. There are 2 en suite bathrooms. So the couples staying in the other two bedrooms had to go downstairs for the bathroom. Also only window a/c in 3 bedrooms. When it went up to 80 ° outside, the house was HOT. There was no towel bar in the 1st floor bathroom, the toaster didn't work, lightbulbs burned out, and a lot of torn and missing window screens. At the price we paid, the house should have been in perfect condition. Regardless, the beds were very comfortable and the location convenient.

We had a great time. This house was perfect for family groups. Lots of space to gather together or find a little nook of your own. Beautiful view of the ocean and sunrise and sunset! Nice morning walks to the Old Scituate Lighthouse. Fred was a great host. Would love to visit again!
