We booked Doc's Place for a Car Club weekend. The location was perfect. Walking distance to food, beverage, tour boat dock and stores. The host was attentive and sent a text after we arrived to make sure we were all doing good. Parking for our four classic cars was great. The best part was the house. Clean. Well stocked kitchen utensils. Bathrooms were clean and we had plenty of towels and wash clothes for 8 adults. Very comfortable. The only complaint was the Dairy Queen across the street was closed for the season. We all recommend this property'

The property is a great property great location everything was clean. The only thing that they didn’t have was enough pots and pans The owner did send two skillets over on one of her million texts. One of the most negative part was the owner consistently text, and emailed you. my opinion treat you like a child I was looking for a vacation where I wouldn’t be constantly on my phone responding to people and because the owner wouldn’t stop texting felt like that’s what just happened. Also the house sleeps 12 but there’s a different fee to have more than 8 in the house.

Lisa was so incredible! We booked the property last minute and have zero regrets. It's a beautiful property right next to Pictured Rocks kayaking! I wish the bedrooms had mirrors (it was too many of us for me to do my makeup in the bathroom), but the beds were comfy and everything was adorable. Thank you so, so much Lisa for making it so easy for us!

The only thing we would have liked to be able to access the upper deck from inside the house.

The house is strategically located in a small but very functional community. We had lots o outdoor recreational, plenty of walkup stores, and restaurants. This isn't an area overrun with trendy tourist shops, but we found it excellent for local food shopping and local excursions. The UP experience requires you to go to nature; we loved it. The home was our relaxing part of the vacation and was very well-appointed. The appliances are all new, and the beds and linen feel new. The large kitchen has many gadgets that make preparing meals very easy. The Laundry was perfect, didn't see the neighbors, and the locals are friendly. I would highly recommend this spot!

We had a lovely stay for a long weekend getaway. The house was well furnished and cozy. Great location- close enough for day trips to see Pictured Rocks and waterfalls. Good communication with host.

Doc's Place was the perfect rental for my situation. Friends and family were very impressed with it and all of its amenities. I hope to stay there again.

We had a nice week at Doc’s. Easy to walk around town from the house or drive up the lakeshore. Would definitely stay again.

We had a large group that stayed between this house and the cottage out back We gathered at the big house for meals. Plenty of room for us all and we were not tripping over each other. Just a beautiful location within walking distance to Lake Superior. One of the most relaxing vacations we have had in a long time Thank you for sharing your home with us!!!!

We took a family vacation to Munising to see the area and the beautiful sites they have to offer. We also got to stay in a wonderful house! The location was perfect, the house was exactly what we needed for 10 people! There was plenty of space for us all to be comfortable and it was cozy as if we were at our own homes. Definitely recommend this location if your looking at visiting munising!

My husband, sons and daughter in law all had a great time at Doc's Place. It was clean and spacious. The beds were very comfortable and it had everything we needed.

We loved our stay. We had a full house, 12 people, and we never felt cramped or on top on each other. The location is perfect for day excursions. We checked out several waterfalls and beaches. We rented a pontoon boat to explore Pictured Rocks and day tripped to Fayette State Park. In the evenings, we sat at the campfire and played in the yard. There were plenty of sneaky trips across the street to get ice cream. Highly recommend.

Doc’s Place was the best short-term rental we have ever had. Little details such as extra seating, luxury bedding, supplies, and tasteful beautiful decor made this place very comfortable. We stayed with brother and sister-in-law’s family with kids from 7-19. The extra portable beds made it easy to customize sleeping arrangements that were comfortable for all. We felt very welcome by the host and you could tell they took pride in the property and hospitality. Thank you for a wonderful wonderful vacation.

Amazing stay in an amazing location. The cleanliness, convenience, and comfort of the house was even better than advertised and set the tone for what was a great upper peninsula getaway for our family of 5. With plenty of space and bedding to welcome at least 10, there was obviously ton of space to spread out for our group of 5. Kitchen was nicely updated and well stocked. Dining, living, and sun rooms provided great spaces to relax. Bedrooms were large and super comfortable. Bathrooms very very clean and nicely updated. The outdoor space fantastic for a view of the bay, outdoor cooking, or bonfire at night. And finally the location . . . Location, location, location. Walk to everything Munising whether that’s a morning stroll for coffee or breakfast, checking out all the shops and restaurants, ice cream and more ice cream, a quick swim in the bay, or checking out sunsets from the marina docks. Doc’s place is definitely ‘the’ place to stay in Munising. And I haven’t even mentioned the convenience of the Munising location in general to all kinds of outdoor activities to keep you busy for a week (Pictured rocks by water, pictured rocks by land, waterfalls, beaches, grand island, kayaking au train river, Marquette and all it has to offer, grand sable dunes, kitch-Ieti-kippi, etc. . Check out Doc’s place if you’re thinking comfort, convenience, and relaxation for your next trip the the upper peninsula and anything within an hour or two of Munising!!

We loved our stay here! The house was perfect for the 7 of us - plenty of space, comfy beds and bedding, well appointed kitchen and an outdoor grill, plus the décor is gorgeous and welcoming. Can't beat the location and it's proximity to ice cream! We walked to restaurants, shopping and the dock for our Pictured Rocks cruise.

There were 8 of us and 2 dogs (4 adults, 2-15 year olds, 10 & 12, large GSD and small dog) that stayed in this house. It was very spacious and beautiful. Walking distance to everything. Very clean, nice appliances, coffee pot and Keurig, all the things you need for cooking. Great communication on things. Check in/out was simple. We enjoyed our stay!

We rented this house for 7 guys for our annual snowmobile trip. The house worked out great with a huge kitchen and family room. The family room furniture and beds were all extremely comfortable. Perfect location for all the amenities, but plan ahead to park trailers offsite. We didn't use the porch area, but I'm sure it's great in summer.

The property was in the center of town with everything in close range

Plenty of space for 2 families (each with 2 kids and 1 dog). The house was great, lots of space both inside and out back. Short walk to restaurants and activities. Lisa was great to work with both before and during the stay. Would definitely recommend this house and Munising as a great place to stay to access the Pictured Rocks area and other UP adventures!

We were able to relax here, the house is so beautiful and comfortable and Munising is unbelievably beautiful!

We stayed with our extended family with ages from 5 years to 70+. It was perfect for all of us! Well appointed kitchen. Very comfortable bedrooms. Extremely clean. Would love a few chairs up on the deck to sit and see the view better. There aren’t a ton of restaurants around but we did enjoy Primo tacos, Pictured Rocks Pizza and Eh Burger and cooked a few dinners at the house. All solid choices with fast casual service. Good craft beer at By George brewery. This was a good location to do several day trips out to other areas. We loved Sandy Point Beach and Miners Beach! We made many great family memories. Thank you!

This house combines the best features for a vaca rental: both practical and stylish. Roomy home, beautifully and simply furnished, in the center of town. Thoughtfully attractive, not stuffy or cluttered. Open floor plan dining/kitchen area with new appliances & plenty of cookware; cozy den and enclosed sunroom, more private, to chill out. Easy-light gas fireplace for cool evenings, and nice array of books. Luxury linens in all bedrooms. Second floor deck to catch the breeze and a view of the Lake. Gas grill, patio table, grass yard. Don't let the location on a busy street concern you---the new windows completely insulate traffic noise. Walked to cafés, coffee, pasties, breweries, art, groceries, ice cream. Very responsive & attentive owner/manager. Great location and beautiful home.

If your looking for an ideal spot to enjoy Family and Friends, in Munising, this is yourlplace. Everything is in walking distance and restaurants are located nearby. Enough space for everyone with 4 bedrooms and you can grill out back and enjoy the fire pit in the evening. Also has a nice size family room and sun room to enjoy everyone in the same area. Would definitely go back...

A great property in the UP for sure. The beds are so so comfortable and the house is really beautiful and comfortable. We would stay there again for sure.

The Doc Place was a fantastic property and we really enjoyed the stay. Very clean and spacious house. Great rooms, nice furniture and a good kitchen ( re the kitchen, the placement of the dishwasher was poorly done) Overall we enjoyed our stay, recommend it to anyone and will come back.
