The location is great in Seaside, walking distance to everything. The furnishings are worn out and the home feels dingy. There was an old stained mattress in the laundry room and no door to close it off from the kitchen, just felt really gross and uncomfortable.

Conveniently located near restaurants and beach. Comfortable seating and good lighting. Very noisy, especially at night. No dishwasher.
Made four requests to trim a branch off tree next to driveway that was scratching the paint on our car and making it difficult to get in and out.

Showed up to location, yard needed mowed, walked into home full of dust and hair. Bathroim mirror had finger prints all over it, floor not clean, pub in sink and shiwer had soap scum and pubs on shower caddy with pink mold all along the shower caulking. Wash machine is hard to turn on and it is broken, no propane and bbq needs a good cleaning, sand was all over the kitchen table and chairs, furnace filter needs changed asap as it is overloaded with dust. Cobwebs threw out the house, dog hair in window seals, furniture is so wore down its uncomfortable. Beds are so uncomfortable. Very upset with the price i paid to get a vrbo home like this. It needs thoroughly cleaned! I have bad allergies and the dust was so bad my kids were even sneezing and woke up with swollen eyes. I reached out and vrbo said someone would contact me when i complained. No one reached me. You need to check your games and puzzles. Went to play yatzee and its missing dice, put puzzle together and there is missing pieces. Location is very noisy, fireworks were being set off the 1st night. Bums going threw garbage can and very noisy people until 2 am walking the streets.

We had a lovely time is this cute well maintained home. We had our dog and were able to walk to the beach in only a few minutes and it is right off the Main Street with all of the restaurants and gift shops.

This is a cute little house, really good location for walking to the beach and the shops. But the neighbors are very inconsiderate and kept us up all night both nights we were there. We ended up leaving a day early due to not getting any sleep. The bed sheets, towels and dishes were not very clean. We pretty much had to wash every dish we used before we used it.

The stay was great, weather was good for the Oregon coast in the last half of October. Great walking around town. If you go to Seaside be sure to take a drive on the beach from Gearhart to Fort Stevens. The house we stayed at in Seaside it was nice house.

The house was great for me and my daughter (and our 2 pups). Super close to everything and took care of our basic needs.
Neighborhood was a little loud at night, but that was somewhat expected considering how close to the main street we were.
Wish the kitchen had a few more amenities such as sugar, salt, etc. and wish they provided more games or cards for easy entertainment.
Overall we'd stay again.

Could be cute but very dirty upon arrival. Trash on floors, carpets not clean, hair on towels, beds poorly made, no duvet cover on queen bed, 2 green chairs literally about to fall apart.

Our family just loves this sweet little house! We go to the Seaside area a couple times a year and this is the second time we’ve rented this cottage. It’s perfect for our family! Walking distance from everything, comfy & accommodating. We will definitely rent this place again when we come back!

The smell of the room is disgusting, and the furniture is outdated, as if no one has lived there for a long time. Because our family had to stay for another day, and the cost of the room for one day was 50% higher than that of the reservation. I won't choose to live here again and again in the future.

Perfect location although the parking lot out side the bedroom windows was busy and loud for a few hours every night. The pillows were very stained with perspiration and blood spots, so we bought our own. Additionally, it would behoove anyone to be alerted that although the property looks to be fenced in for your dogs from photos of the yard, it is completely open to the street on one side. The place is cute, very clean, one bedroom for adults and small room with a bunk bed (closet or dresser for clothes, if you plan on staying more than a few days). If location and cleanliness are priorities, than it's a 5. We were satisfied and I would stay there again.

My husband and I stay in Seaside every summer after the Hood To Coast running relay to rest and relax before heading home the next. This rental stood out because of it's amazing location (blocks away from Beach, restaurants!) and unobtrusive rental process (LOVE VACASA/VRBO!). We DID NOT receive multiple phone calls the week before, day before, day of arrival and check out day to ask if we had any questions, knew the rules and regulations, etc. We DID NOT have to fill out a 5 page document documenting the state of the unit upon arrival (sorry but I do not want to spend an hour when I first arrive making sure all appliances work, evaluating the furniture, walls, etc which is required by the other rental agency in town). We DID NOT have a papers and papers of instructions/rules/regulations everywhere we looked.
We truly felt like guests who were trusted, welcomed and appreciated.
The home was well stocked and decorated with charming style.
We will seek this place out again!

The house was okay at first glance, but upon attempting to go to bed we quickly realized the sheets had not been changed. Once we changed them ourselves we got to bed, but were kept awake until after 2am by partying happening in the parking lot right next door. This partying happened both nights of our stay, which was mid-week. Overall, the actual house was fine (aside from the dirty sheets), but the lack of sleep made things pretty miserable.

Pros: great location (3 blocks from the beach, 2 blocks from shopping), comfortable beds, nice living room, many magazines, games, TV watching options in the house.
Cons: no dishwasher, no tea kettle, adjacent to bank ATM drive-through, lack of proper lightning in the kitchen.

The location of the property is the best part. You are close to everything but don’t have to be crowded into a high rise condo to enjoy it all. We appreciated the abundance of towels!
The house is charming indeed. We are a family of three and the size was just right. What was missing for us was nightstands and/or dressers in the bedrooms to have some place to put your stuff. The kids room had nothing except a bed. The queen size room had a bench at the foot of the bed. Also the blinds were old and moldy.
For being our first time to seaside I enjoyed the stay overall.

Very smooth process. Location was excellent. Great property for two adults. Also bunk beds for kids. Small yard. No fences, but plenty of area to walk dogs in neighborhood. Would rent it again.

Would rent again but…
We felt that the primary bedroom could have been arranged so that there was room for nightstands on each side of the bed, instead of making makeshift nightstands (in both rooms) out of the extra dining room table stools. With CPAP machines, phones, etc., there was little room. Since there are very limited plugs in the bedrooms it would have been nice to have multi outlet plug. We had to switch plugs through the day. There were lights in the living room and outdoor lights that I could never figure out how to turn on. There was no noodle strainer in the kitchen, we needed one almost everyday and just had to make due. The location has pros and cons, great location for beach access and to downtown, but a little noisy at night with what I assume were locals hanging out in the parking lots on both sides of the house.

The house was quaint, comfy, quiet, convenient walking to town and beach, private from most angles. Only had trouble with TV remotes.

Would definitely stay here again. Cute place! It was clean, had the staples, and comfortable sleeping arrangements. Perfect location for a short walk to the beach and the town strip.

We would not recommend this property.
I want to first state that Vacasa was very responsive to our issues with this property, we appreciate that so much. They even helped us to eventually relocate to a different home.
The property itself was very dirty, very noisy, very worn. Key items were missing for making the stay comfortable.
Overall, I would recommend doing much research on the area of Seaside before you book a stay. If I could do it all over again, I would stay in Cannon Beach.

Seaside Cottage
This was a very cute cottage. A great place to relax after a day at the beach. The location was perfect. It was close to the beach and downtown area. My only complaint was the queen duvet cover need to be washed. It had black dog hair that then was also on the pillow cases and top sheet. Thankfully there was plenty of bedding so I just changed it. We would definitely stay here again.

Cute nautical themed cottage within walking distance to Broadway and the beach. Not fully fenced for dogs. Tv did not work at first but Vacasa had local tech come right out to fix it. Good customer service!

This is a super cute… well decorated house. Just blocks from the beach and shopping.My only complaint was not getting any information about check in so I had to call. I was driving from Washington so didn’t want to leave with out making sure I had it.I would also suggest info on how to use the TV remotes and what day is garbage day. If I hadn’t heard the truck there would have been a very full can for the next visitors.Other than that I would highly recommend staying at this lovely little home! I will be back for sure!
