Near Airport

I have upgraded to a sea facing room via booking dot com app and fully paid for it. But upon checked in, was given a car park facing ground and near the entrance to the restaurant/stairway to the 2nd level. It wasn’t sound proof at all. The property owner said he only have record from Booking dot com that I have paid for a car park facing room and he can’t help us. Didnt have a good rest. It was our 1st night there in IceLand after a long flight. Ruined our excitement for our trip. Waiting for booking dot come explanation on who’s fault was it and my refund of paid upgrade fee. 😡

Lage gut, Frühstück nicht opulent, aber in Ordnung. Das angeschlossene Pub war prima.

Das Zimmer war im Souterrain, das Meer war nicht zu sehen. Die Duschnische mit WC war winzig und primitiv. Das Waschbecken war im Wohnraum. Insgesamt kaum Ähnlichkeit mit der Beschreibung.

Il faisait très froid dans la chambre quand nous sommes arrivés, très mauvaise isolation entre les chambres, il fait mention d’un bus pour l’aéroport mais que nenni. Vous devez pendre un taxi.

前に宿泊されていた方のお菓子とかが棚に残されたまま。 排水口が詰まって流れない。シャワーの温度が低すぎる。 タオルがボロボロ。 備え付けのカップが汚れていた。

Good location. Breakfast was great. Coffee machine was perfect! Staff was very nice. Allowed us to check in earlier and nice conversation during breakfast—I think we were the only people at property at that time! Nice hot shower, strong pressure. Huge bathroom.

Window was jammed and didn’t close all the way. At first, it was good since a very cold breeze was coming in, but then because of the hail, that same wind was really blowing hard all-night ling. We didn’t report the jam until next day, so shame on us.

Très bon emplacement : 2min de l'aéroport en voiture & 5min de marche direction les locaux voiture/camping-car. Le magasin BONUS se trouve à 5min à pied ainsi que des endroits pour manger. Bon petit déjeuner. Le chocolat chaud était délicieux. Décoration chaleureuse. Surtout le restaurant. Navette gratuite. Chambre calme selon celle que nous avons : nous avons eu deux chambres différentes : avant le séjour, un peu isolée avec vue sur le parking, aucun bruit. après le séjour, chambre collée à une autre avec une belle vue sur le petit port & la mer, nous avons entendu le voisin de chambre ronfler et se lever le matin, dommage. Possibilité de laisser nos bagages pendant notre absence. A l'arrière de l'hôtel & du petit port se trouve une grotte avec un ogre.

Un peu de bruit de la part du voisin de chambre qui ronflait lors de notre deuxième venue.
