Disappointing
On the positive side ; bathrooms clean and modern , bedrooms comfortable. Property manager responsive .
The living room area / common space was worn , outdated and looked dirty . The two swivel chairs were threadbare and one is ready to topple over . The 4 bar stools were made of tin/ metal and were very uncomfortable and the chairs around table also uncomfortable. The rug was dated and appeared dirty and a hazard .
While it was only a couple blocks to King Street , the neighborhood was a little sketchy .

Great house in a fantastic location
We stayed here for the college graduation weekend and it was great. The house had nice, comfortably bedrooms and a great common space for us to sit and enjoy all together. The little action is ideal for king street shops and restaurants.

Great for a bach party
Perfect place for a bachelorette party. So much entertaining room, adequate bed space, 2 bathrooms. Plenty of linens/towels provided. Keep in mind there were no cooking pans and the ice machine doesn't work, other than that the kitchen was pretty stocked. Walking distance to bars such as Uptown Social, which was super handy, and some small grocery stores. Host also gave us info for a parking deck a couple blocks down - cost $50-65 total for 3 nights. Slept 10, one slept on the pull out couch (not too comfy), and another on a provided twin size blow up mattress that was off the floor which was neat. Thanks for helping make the bride's weekend amazing!

Loved this unit.
The only thing I would suggest is if you offer an ironing board and iron you may want to have a iron pad and cover on the ironing board. I had to iron on blankets. Other than that it was a great experience

Great location
Overall this house was a great location for Charleston. We came for a bachelorette trip and everything was pretty much walking distance.
There were plenty of towels, toiletries and cups/plates. Plenty of room for our group of girls.
The check in process was difficult due to lack of communication by the owner. We thought he was maybe overwhelmed because there were a lot of groups check in in a t the same time and he seemed to be cleaning himself. The ice machine was broken so we were told he would bring ice, which he never did. Beds were comfortable but sheets had some holes in them in a few of the rooms. The soap dispensers in the bathroom did not work. I think overall better communication and answering of messages would have made my rating higher.

Girls weekend
Beautiful place and location is great. Plenty of parking. Listing stated sleeps 10 but that is a bit of a stretch. We couldn’t get the couch to pull out but that was probably user error. Would definitely stay here again

Great location and perfect layout
My girlfriends and I wanted a weekend getaway and this place hit all the marks. Greta location to walk to everything, great layout for 5 people with plenty of rooms and hang out space.

Location ok but place run down
The location was ok. Family didn’t feel safe walking around at night. Holes in sheets and towels. Manager was easy to communicate. Wasn’t what we expected.

Well-stocked + Comfortable + Great location
The Carpenter Suite at the Charleston Compound was such a great choice for our 9-person group!
-Location is wonderful: just two blocks from upper King Street near great shopping, dining, and night-life.
-Neighborhood felt very safe.
-The suite itself was larger than it looked in the photos: the living area + dining table + kitchen was plenty spacious for the group.
-On-site parking was very convenient!
-The suite was very clean. It felt fresh, airy, and modern. The beds were so comfortable!
-For our group of mostly girls, there were several places (mirrors + counters + several outlets) to get ready outside of the bathroom, which made those logistics much easier.
Our group was so happy with the suite, we definitely recommend it.

Great place!
Perfect place for a trip to Charleston. Walking distance to restaurants on King. Andrew was very helpful. We had a plumbing problem at the house, and he responded quickly. It was fixed within the hour. Would recommend this place to others!

Awesome House!!!!
I stayed here for my bachelorette party and it was absolutely everything I could have wished for in a house. The house is located in the perfect spot if you're looking to be close to the bars and restaurants. Inside is decorated perfectly and everything was so nice! I really couldn't say enough nice things about the house. I also would like to add that it's in a very safe neighborhood.. although I believe all of Charleston is safe. Would definitely stay there again!! Andrew was so nice and answered all of my questions so quickly. Really nice guy!!

Amazing Location! Perfect for a Large Group!
We had a group of 7 over a weekend & these were perfect accommodations for us! Spacious, well-designed, and a very convenient location close to King Street. Would definitely book again.

Great location
Had group of six men that went on annual football trip and we really enjoyed the house. It was a great location to all restaurants and bars so no need to drive anywhere. Andrew was very nice guy and he was always making sure we had what we needed to have great time. I would recommend this house for any group that wants to stay in the Charleston area.

Amazing property right off King St.
I loved this home and would highly recommend it! Andrew was super helpful and did a great job and making sure our stay was incredible. We came to Charleston for a bachelorette party and it did not disappoint. The bar/lounge area in this house is perfect for big groups to have a hangout space throughout the course of the weekend. We were just 2 blocks off King St, which is where you want to be.
The house is also newly remodeled and modern, with plenty of fresh towels, linens, beds to sleep many. Andrew went above and beyond to provide us with travel size toiletries and house supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, etc. I would stay in this house again in a heart beat! Thank you Andrew!

Beautiful place and great location!
The place was so nice and really clean. In a great location - once we got to charleston we never had to use our car and could pretty much walk everywhere. Had plenty of parking which was great. Andrew was very friendly and really easy to work with. Would highly recommend!

The Perfect Location for a Bachelorette Weekend
I had the luxury of staying in the Piazza unit of this compound with 6 of my closest girlfriends. It was filled with Southern Charm and immaculate. Andrew was wonderful in accommodating our schedule and I would definitely stay at this property again. The best part is that it was within walking distance to all of Charleston's top restaurants and bars on Upper King Street.

Amazing! Perfect location
This was the perfect apartment for our girls weekend. Andrew was very fast to respond and answered all our questions about the place. The apartment is just as pictured and had everything we needed! It is walking distance to everything on King Street which was perfect for us. We would highly recommend this place!

Great place in a great location!
Everything was clean and very nice in the Carpenter Suite! It was a short couple of blocks to the bars and restaurants on King Street and they even had parking for both of our cars. I visited with two other guys on a weekend golf trip. I highly recommend the place and will look forward to staying again on my next trip to Charleston.
