My wife and I were so excited to have our first vacation without our children. We arrived late and the first thing we noticed was the musky basement smell. We went to bed and contacted the owner in the morning. After telling us to empty the dehumidifier several times a day and adjust the room temperature. If that didn’t work, we were told to try the ionizer. I felt it was odd to have an ionizer since they “never had any issues before.” Anyway, My wife just couldn’t stomach the smell and I asked for a refund. I was refunded 2 days out of 4 booked, and lost some taxes/Vrbo fees. So we paid around $600 for 1 night! The owner sent the house cleaner over and she was crying because she “got yelled at.” We felt bad and told her it was not her fault. This was unprofessional! I spoke to the neighbor (who owns her unit) and she said the entire place has this issue. The owner of this property was nice at first, but his tune changed quickly when refunds were requested. We left and stayed at Hotel Alice (highly recommend) after the first night. I was told by the owner that I would be refunded 2 days and the Vrbo fees, but his wife informed me it was only the 2 days and I was lucky. I didn’t want to leave feedback, but renters need to know what they are in for. I want a vacation, not a place were I’m expected to work emptying buckets, adjusting the thermostat, & turning on an ionizer (you have to leave for 30-60 minutes and then open the door for 5 mins to air it out).

We loved our cozy room. Everything was clean, kitchen well equipped so we could do breakfast and lunch in the room, lots of outlets, beach towels provided. Wonderful stay!

Great 4 days

This is a great unit at this location. The space was extremely clean. Host very kind and responsive to any questions. I've stayed at several units here and this has been the only one with a large tv that swivels so you can watch while in bed. Lots of hooks around for drying swimsuits, etc and other thoughtful touches. Would definitely stay again. Thanks Jennifer!

Its was a nice clean room . Easy walk to the beach. Only wish there was a small shelf beside the bed. I use my phone as a clock and had no where to put it but under my pillow. Overall stay was nice and enjoyable.

This is our second time staying in this particular condo and we absolutely love it! The place is cozy and clean plus it is right on the beach. We will definitely be coming back to this place and it is perfect for a couple getaway.

Good location

5th year staying here at Jennifer and Ken's place. Good as usual. Jennifer is very responsive and we are glad they have Internet now.

I have stayed in this lovely efficiency now 3x. It is always clean and neat. The owner makes sure everything is up to date and in excellent condition. The location is perfect to me. The pool was very clean and you just walk a little ways and you are on the beach. There is plenty of parking and it was very quiet. I love this place that is why I will be back again. Thank you.

The unit was very clean. It smelled like fresh linens when I opened the door. The bed was comfortable. The towels were very thick. I really enjoyed this unit and would stay here again.

Property is exactly as listed. It's a nice small condo with private beach access. Great for us since we need a place to just sleep and eat. Most of the time we were at the beach. Only recommendations is I would let people know you had a keurig in the condo. The pictures just show a coffee maker. This way I could have kept my travel k cup maker at home.

Entire booking process was quick and easy. The hosts were great communicators and very promptly answered all questions. The property was very clean and the linens were all provided. The unit was equipped very nicely and was well maintained. The property manager was extremely friendly and helpful!!

Property was good, location was great. I appreciate the amenities! Pool was fabulous after a long day on the beach..

We absolutely loved our stay at Ocean Sands. The location, views, and beach access are everything that you could want. This condo was perfect. I was taken back at just how clean everything was. Towels and linens were provided and seemed brand new. The kitchen was stocked with dishes and everything we needed. I honestly have nothing bad to say. We were able to fully relax and enjoy our time. I would definitely stay at this location again in the future.

We had a great time in AB. The unit was super clean and really comfortable. Loved that the complex is non-smoking.!

My daughter, her best friend, and I went for a long weekend over Easter, and we had the best time! The location was absolutely perfect!!!! The tv didn’t work, but we were absolutely fine with that—too many other things to do! We will definitely be back

This was one of the most affordable places I could find right on the beach in early October. Pool was nice and the outdoor shower/feet washing station was handy. Room was fairly small, but had all the essentials. Jennifer was great to work with. Would stay here again.

Wonderful place to have a nice getaway. Beach access is great, plenty of food, music, bars. Very clean and no complaints.

It was a very nice place for myself, my husband & my daughter. The area is very quiet, which we loved. The person we rented from was very informative & responsive. Can’t wait to visit again!

I went to a dollar store and purchased the above items (not a big deal) and left them for the next renters.

The condo is the perfect size for a couple with 1 or 2 children. The walk to the beach was very short and the property was very clean. I would book this again since it’s priced just right.

Nice bed, cold fridge, close to ocean. We didn't need anything else. It was great for us.

Nicely decorated unit. Very comfortable bed. Sufficiently equipped for light cooking. Connecting gazebo to the beach with just a few minutes walk. My husband and I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect as always for a quick getaway. The studio has a great setup and is a good size for myself and my two girls under age 12. We love having the pool right downstairs on site, which extremely convenient. As a parent, I also love that the beach has such easy access (as we typically tote everything and the "kitchen sink") down to the sand for the day. There is also a shower right when you get off the sand for a quick one-off. :-) Jennifer, the owner, is amazing and very accommodating. We will definitely be back again!

I could not be happier with our stay. The room was not large, but it was a fantastic design, there was enough room for my wife, 4year old son and myself. I would definitely stay there again. The communication with the owner was well above par, they answered any questions we had and kept us updated on things happening in the condo.

The condo was ideal! It was cozy and the bed was very comfortable. The access the beach is the best! It was not crowded and was quiet. Short drive to a lot of places to eat as well. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed for the week, the place was great for me and my partner! The beach access was the best part of the stay, walk right out your door and you’re right there. The place is quiet, great location. Easy access to grocery and the running/walking trail. The place has everything needed to cook in as well which was perfect for these times. We really really enjoyed our stay!!

So very great! One thought is that it could be a little bit cleaner but overall it was right on!
