We had an amazing trip to the Big Island and this condo played a big part in it. The thoroughly enjoyed the condo, pool and on-site restaurant. The resort grounds are beautiful and well kept. The condo was very clean, beds were all super comfortable and fit out family of 6 well. If anything it feels bigger and more impressive than the pictures. The garage had a nice stock of beach gear including 10 beach chairs, 5 sets of snorkel gear, 3 umbrellas, 4 boogie boards, 3 coolers and sand toys. The resort pool was wonderful and a very short walk from the condo. The restaurant beside the pool was delicious and had live music on some evenings. We walked the path along the ocean to the Hilton next door on several mornings and the views are breathtaking. Richard was excellent to work with and checked in to make sure everything was going well (which it was). We would stay here again in a heartbeat if we visit the Big Island again in the future.

Visited Waikoloa with our family and this unit could not have been more perfect. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Checkin instructions clear. Comfortable beds and plenty of towels. Resort is amazing with lagoon pool, pool bar and grill and the best sunset views. Five thousand stars all around.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here! Richard was very helpful and accomodating with everything from information about the house, helping find things to do, and being easily reachable when I couldn't find something in the house. The house was supplied with everything we could need for the beach and cooking at home for the week we were there. The house was super spacious and comfortable. The bed was so comfy-most comfy bed I have ever had access to in a VRBO! I also loved the proximity to the ocean, the beautiful pool that was available and we went to the nearby beach(Waikola) many times and snorkeled with sea turtles! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had an amazing time staying at this property. Richard was thorough with all the information and was available at anytime we had questions. The condo was clean and we were all very comfortable, it felt like home.
We could easily walk to the pool and walking path and we had great views of the sunset every night. A highlight for us was getting to sit on the patio every morning to have our coffee and enjoy the views and gentle breeze. We will be back again!

My husband, myself and our teenage son recently had the pleasure of staying at Richard's Condo in Waikoloa, Hawaii, and I can't say enough about how perfect everything was. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with tranquility and breathtaking sunsets that made each evening unforgettable.
The condo itself was immaculate. Every corner of the house was spotless, reflecting the high standards of care and cleanliness maintained by the hosts. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring we had restful nights after our days of adventure.
One of the highlights was the restaurant by the pool. The staff there were not only friendly but also very welcoming, making us feel right at home. Their warm hospitality added an extra touch of enjoyment to our stay.
Overall, Richard's Condo exceeded our expectations in every way. We are already looking forward to our next visit and will definitely be staying here again. Highly recommended!

This was our family's first stay on The Big Island, and it exceeded our expectations. The property was perfect! It was bigger than it looked online. There were 6 of us and we had plenty of space. Loved the location right across from the Ocean Club. The place was stocked with everything we'd need - beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, coolers, snorkel gear etc. It was quiet and peaceful at all hours which made it even more relaxing. The Ocean Club is beautiful, and the food is great. Our host’s itinerary suggestions were great and so helpful. We all can’t wait to go back!

Great communication, easy check-in, clean, clean, clean!! The pool and gym were close and my kids loved those facilities. Close access to many beaches, nice quiet neighborhood also. The garage was well stocked with everything we needed. Checkout was phenomenal, our vacation was amazing on the Big Island and we definitely hope to stay here again.

Always a very memorable stay. Beds are comfortable. We enjoy the lawn and view in front of us. Pool is easy to access and the drinks and food at the pool are a wonderful bonus.

This property is an absolute gem! Perfect location in a gated community, steps away from the Waikoloa coastline. The community pool and club is a great place to hang out, with a fitness room facing the ocean and a nice restaurant, and it is 1 block away from the condo. Richard's property was perfect for our family of 5. A/C was useful for the hot days. Kitchen was well stocked. The check-in and all communication was very smooth. We highly recommend this property!!

We enjoyed our stay and it was just as pictured. It’s on the bottom floor which was great for walking over and taking a dip in the great pool. We would return again!

The condo was amazing! It was beautifully decorated and well equipped with everything you’d need. I really appreciated the soaps and laundry supplies that were ready and waiting for us.
The condo is also close to the pool and conveniently located on the island for excursions.
Richard was a very gracious host. He provided a lot of information about the condo community and activities on the island. We couldn’t have asked for more and hope to make a return trip in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house exceeded our expectations by far. The space was adequate, and the location was perfect as this condo was located directly across from the pool and gym. Richard was available 24/7 to answer any questions we had. By far this has been my best experience with a VRBO.

We have stayed at this property twice, and we've loved it both times. This condo feels like a wonderful home away from home. It has plenty of the benefits of a big resort -- a lovely swimming pool, and we can walk over to the Hilton (where our kids love seeing the dolphins). But it also feels so relaxing and calm to be here.

This resort and the entire area around it is BEAUTIFUL. The condo was perfect for our family of 4, 2 adults & 2 older teens. The rooms were comfy and spacious, bathrooms beautiful, clean and so nice. You can see the ocean from this unit, is 1 min walk from pool and that area. Porch (lanai) was so nice to have and enjoy. This condo has awesome AC and ceiling fans easy and simple to use. Garage stocked with umbrellas, chairs, snorkel gear, our kids rode the nice bikes everyday! We loved this place and it made our trip even better it was SOO nice. Will be back in the future. Host was easy to communicate with, friendly and simple. Very helpful. Thank you!!

Loved this location and amenities! The condo was conveniently located near the restaurant and pool, and had a nice peekaboo view of the ocean. The sunsets were amazing and the food at the restaurant was great too! So many nice things at this property, would definitely come back!

We loved our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend! The condo was in an awesome location. It was so easy to walk to the ocean club, pool, and along the oceanfront path. This resort and property was absolute perfection. The property owner was always available for questions via messaging and very responsive. We had access to beach chairs, umbrellas and our own parking. The resort was quiet. The pool was beautiful. Highest recommendation. We will be back.

The place is very nicely decorated with all the amenities you need. We even were able to use the beach chairs and snorkeling gear. The location was great for a wedding we attended at the Fairmont Orchid and the area felt very safe and luxurious.

The simple answer is we would definitely book again. We enjoyed our time. Halii Kai is a lovely property and great landscaping. The pool and gym perched above the ocean is stunning. The unit is very close to pool and gym and access to the coast line for regular sunset watches. The unit is tastefully decorated and quite well stocked, and was a great unit for our family of 5. Couple small details could use some attention to give it a full 5 out of 5 in all categories. The non stick pans have seen a lot of wear and need to be replaced. As well, it looks like the fridge was replace and required the removal of a bunch of millwork, which would look better replaced. But a very nice unit on a very nice location, at a very nice property.

Richard and Gensly are consummate hosts. There are so many nice touches and conveniences in their home to make your stay easy with a resort-like atmosphere that lets you relax right away. Richard was extremely responsive, reliable, and accommodating. We greatly appreciated his attention to his guests.

Great place, very close to the pool. The property also had a small putting green, tennis court, and basketball court that the kiddos lived. Richard was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

Our week to dive, snorkel, sleep, explore could not have been better! The setting is spectacular, the private club is cozy and friendly, and Richard the owner is a delight to communicate with. The condo was spotless and well- equipped. Loved it!

The property was very nice and clean. There was a group of 6 of us and the unit accommodated nicely. I highly recommend the property. It was great to wake up and drink the morning coffee on the patio. The pool and on site restaurant were great. The food was delicious and the views were spectacular. Would stay again if and when the chance arises.

Hali’i Kai is a very nice, manicured, and quiet community. The condo was easy to book and check-in. The beds were very comfortable, the unit was clean, and the kitchen was well appointed. (Check what others left before going to the grocery store.) There were four bicycles in the garage that were nice to ride around Waikoloa. I would recommend this property to friends and relatives.
In the spirit of full transparency there are a few small details to consider. It is a bottom unit in a condo complex, which wasn’t an issue until the last day when a new party checked into the unit above. The community pool is very nice, but there is no shade/umbrellas or the ability to bring your own. The cooking pans, beach towels, and provided beach toys need to be replaced.

Everything worked out as planned. Host was very helpful. Would stay here again. Lovely area, pretty close to everything including on site pool/ restaurant and great morning walks along the beach past the Hilton, pristine coastline takes your breath away.
