Thank you for making your home available, Jeff! This was one of the nicest properties we've used for our family reunion/vacation at OBX. It is a beautifully decorated house, set up nicely for a large family gathering. The distance to the beach was just a few houses away, but still close enough to enjoy a beautiful sunrise. The pool was essential to our young ones. There was ample space to either play separately or to sit for a meal together. We plan to return one day soon!

The location was perfect! Walking distance to shopping and the beach access. The flow of the house was great too! My only complaint were the palmetto bugs! This is the first time in 13 years I have ever seen these things in the house. We watched Joe's Apartment and we got over our fears lol.

We came for a family vacation. The weather was perfect and location of the property was awesome. We could walk a little over 1/2 mile and be in the center of town. And the beach was so close! The house was really nice. Only downfall was the two bedrooms on the mid level over the car port were very warm, despite ceiling fans, air conditioning, and closing the blinds. But it was manageable. And Jeff was friendly and responded quickly to any questions. And we got to check in early! Thanks again Jeff and VRBO!

Great location! The house was very spacious and clean, description was very accurate. Host had fantastic communication with us during the stay.

Fantastic stay! Everything about the house was as advertised. Great location near the village and an easy 3 minute walk to the beach. The house was beautifully kept, had everything we needed in terms of beach toys, bogie boards, kitchen supplies, etc. The pool was a perfect way to relax at the end of the day. We had one very minor issue during our staff, I called and left Jeff a voicemail and he responded within 5 minutes. Would definitely return!

Just returned from a week at this beautiful beach home. The house is filled with everything you need for a great vacation. Jeff, the owner is wonderful to work with and made this rental so easy and pleasant. If you’re looking for a fabulous place to stay, steps to the beach with a great backyard pool, this is the place!

This house was perfect for us. We had three families and we had plenty of room. We loved the pool and it was a quick walk to the beach!!

Easy to book. Easy to check in. When I originally booked the house the description said the house would sleep 16. At some point that changed to just 13 without communication. Other than that the house was as described. I would suggest the owner gets pest control there. I know it's at the beach and insects are expected but it seems like we were getting rid of spiders palmetto bugs and other insects on a regular basis.

The house was great for our family of 10. We have four grandchildren all under the age of 9. It was perfect for them. There are two living rooms. The kids had one and adults another. Perfect! The location of the house to the beach was just a few minutes walk with little kids on a very quiet road. The best part you could walk back to the house for anything you forgot or to use the facilities which was great and not be gone long! In all our family was very pleased with the house. We would rent again.

This area was wonderful and had everything that we needed. Right by the beach and the pool was excellent.

Everything was as advertised. Great property with all the amenities. Very convenient to beach and shops. Very little traffic on the street. It felt like a community of fellow beach lovers. A nice breeze made the decks very useable throughout the days and evenings. Everything we needed in a very well stocked kitchen. Jeff was available and responsive for any questions we had before and during our stay. We hope to go back again.

Great place to stay

This house worked great for our large extended family. Five families fit into the house and we had a great time. The pool was great when the ocean was cold, and the walk to the ocean was short enough that there were no hassles whatsoever since the beach wagon at the house was a life saver. Would definitely stay here again!

This beach house in Duck, NC was perfect for our family. There were 9 adults and 6 children. There was plenty of room and enough supplies to accommodate our needs. The pool was very nice and great fun! We also appreciated the close proximity to the beach and stores. A wonderful vacation!

Easy to book and rent!

Beautiful house located near the center of Duck, with a short walk to beach and all the amenities we needed to keep our family of 15 busy. Pool and hot tub were great, spacious living/dining/kitchen on top floor for our breakfasts and evenings. Enjoyed many nights with the pool table on lower level. Made many beautiful memories on this trip. Thanks to Jeff for quick response on a late night question and for sharing your lovely home with our family. Look forward to staying here on our next trip to Duck.

This beach house had everything we needed, from the small town Duck location to the fully outfitted kitchen. We will definitely be back.

Our family of 15, 8 adults and 7 children (ranging in age from 4 - 17), enjoyed a wonderful week at this Duck house ! The house was spacious and clean and provided all the amenities including a pool which the children especially loved. Its location very close to the beautiful beach and convenient to walking or biking to the boardwalk with its little shops, made it such a fun week for everyone. Even our 10 year old could bike with his l5 year old cousin to the boardwalk to get ice cream - it was wonderful. The consensus is that everyone in the family wants to return to this perfect place for us. We hope we will be able to do so.

This was a great house! As our first time renting in the Outer Banks, it couldn't have been an easier and more pleasant experience. It had everything we needed and was very clean and well maintained- plenty of kitchenware, towels and bedrooms for our entire family. Proximity to beach and shops was ideal- we could easily walk to both. The owner was professional and informative throughout the process. Would definitely rent again!

This was the best house we've stayed in with HomeAway. Sheets and towels were supplied and already on the beds. The hot tub and pool worked perfectly and it was very easy to walk to the uncrowded beach. The owner answered any questions we had promptly and politely. I would recommend this highly!

The house was great...plenty of room to spread out and less than 5 minutes from the beach. The layout was nice..when the grandkids went to bed on the second floor you couldn't hear the rest of us on the third floor. It could have used a new gas grill outside but all-in-all, great rental!
