This property fit all of needs for 6 days in the gatlinburg/pigeon forge. We were close enough to enjoy it all. The closet chain grocery store is at least 20 minutes away but there are some smaller stores closer by. They enough for my little ones to run around without disturbing anyone. Only bad thing I will say are the mattress was a little on the hard side but that just a personal preference. It was perfect for all our needs. Would definitely book again.

We had a great stay at Orchard Hideaway. We would definitely stay again!
There were some reviews that complained about what the house didn't provide, however if you've ever vacationed, you know what things you need. We always bring our own hand soap, paper goods, plastic bags, storage containers, laundry soap, spices for cooking, hair dryer, etc. And if we needed anything there was a Dollar General 1/2 mile away.
What we really loved was that the property had a huge yard. Having 2 young boys it made it so much easier to give them somewhere to run around, and since it snowed while we were there there was no need to travel into town for fun.
The only negative was it snowed when we were there and there weren't any doormats to keep us from tracking snow/water inside. Otherwise, it was great!

Anniversary Vacation
The House is Beautiful and in a very quiet location. The view is beautiful in the morning. The only downside was the ladybugs and the cleanliness of the home.

Disappointed
The cabin was beautiful but it was only basic TV plus the lady bugs took over the entire upstairs. Guests service was extremely rude and nasty. They called me a liar when I told them what an employee said to me which was anything bad. I will never rent with this company again.

The description and photos of the property were spot on. House looked just as described, surrounding area was beautiful and we enjoyed the large yard for the kids. The kitchen was mostly well equipped but only had 4 glasses, but the house sleeps 6. We were baffled that there were 4 regular cups yet 12 coffee cups. We visited with children and the 4 glass cups were a nightmare. No plastic available for the kids and we had to continue to wash them until we could get to the store to buy disposable cups. We found the rest of the kitchen well stocked and the appliances were great. The TVs were challenging. We never got the one in the master bedroom to work. It took my husband over an hour to determine which cable or satellite network was set up in the living room. It was frustrating it took so long to figure it out. Directions would have been very helpful. We called the property manager that afternoon but we NEVER received a returned call, the entire stay. Lastly, there was a significant lady bug issue. I'm not sure if this is a seasonal problem, as I did not see it listed in any other review. But, there were a lot, on the windows, walls and floors. It was a distraction and would keep us from booking this property again.

Beautiful quiet property
This home is everything that was described and more. The home is very beautiful and had such a nice quiet atmosphere to it. The surrounding trees in the back of the property distance you from the neighbors and the orchard in the front of the property silence the noise from the road. It is definitely a property to rent if you want the quietness of country living but the closeness of all the hustle and bustle in Gatlinburg. We even had the joy of seeing a family of turkeys everyday in the yard and a really big buck that would come up a couple times a day to snack on apples that were on the orchard trees. I would definitely rent this home again if we return to the area.

Beautiful hidden cabin with daily visiting wild life, including a bear with two babies. Very nice inside and out. It is fully equipped with everything you would need for a family stay; however, it needs a deep cleaning of the floors and rugs. We would definitely stay again.

Relaxing Mountain getaway

Peaceful, clean, spacious, comfortable, and away from the crowds and traffic
We were looking for a peaceful place away from the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, but with only a short drive from GSMNP and other outings. This place was perfect for us. We are a family of four with teenage boys, so having their own space upstairs was great. We drove into Gatlinburg once for breakfast and Pigeon Forge once for a Pink Jeep Tour. The rest of the time, we were able to avoid all the constant noise and commercialism. This house is located on a highway, but the apple orchard out front muffles any noise— it was such a relaxing place! We even saw a turkey and a tiny fawn right in the yard! Our boys had lots of room to throw the baseball in the large backyard, and the large parking area made loading and unloading a breeze. The house is newer construction with nice and comfortable furnishings and mattresses. It’s minimal decor keeps things looking neat and tidy. We enjoyed the Cosby side of the park, which we might have otherwise missed. Hiking to Mouse Creek Falls and swimming in Midnight Hope were a highlight of our stay. If this house could be moved to every VRBO location that we visit, we would book it every time. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

This property was beautiful! The cabin was really nice, needs to be decorated, there was no decor. When we arrived, the back door was unlocked and door handle was broke, we tried calling and no return call back. Just minor things. I would definitely stay here again!!!

Excellent location for Cosby & Greenbrier GSM visits.
Pros: 1. Away from the Gatlinburg crowds. 2. Very nice, newer home and property. 3. Very convenient to Cosby & Greenbrier GSM Park entrances. 4. 20 minutes off I-40.
Cons: 1. Microwave did not work & no one came to repair after emailing a request the first day. 2. All pans wereTeflon and were all ruined and scratched which is a health hazard. 3. No pantry staples other than coffee were provided. 4. No cutting board/mat and only one kitchen towel. 5. No security system -- This home is very nice and comfortable but is surrounded by mobile home parks which makes it not feel safe. No security system. Friday midnight someone shot fireworks off at the driveway entrance.
Recommended if plan for the Cons.

Mid January Stay
We arrived after dark and had a little trouble finding the cabin at first. Fantastic cabin once we found it! Just as advertised. Spacious, clean, and great for a family. It was a bit chilly but we survived. Highly recommend and would rent again.

Beautiful Cabin
This is a beautiful cabin! Its neighbors aren’t the best, but probably wouldn’t be visible in the spring in summer with leaves on the trees. Other than the neighbors, this was a perfect place to stay. We had a minor issue with check-in because we were given the wrong door code. A phone call got that issue resolved fairly quickly.

Excellent place to stay
This property was wonderful. Not only was the cabin beautiful, well appointed with furnishings and well stocked cooking items, the apple orchard in the front of the property provided the BEST animal sighting of the entire trip!
We saw deer, rabbits, a groundhog who has a den on the property, and bears who made dusk time trips to snack in the front orchard before nightfall.
The peaceful location was perfect and the short drive to get groceries and downtown Gatlinburg was ideal. Would recommend this property highly.
