My husband and I grew up in San Clemente and wanted our children to experience 4th of July on the beach. This house is a perfect location to walk to the beach, Del Mar, the Pier and El Camino Real. I appreciate that everyone had their own space, and the nightly hot tub sessions were a bonus.

What a fantastic trip! This home was perfect for our family. Clean, well maintained and plenty of room. The steep driveway wasn’t a problem for our big van. Would love to stay there again!

This is a Gem of a find in San Clemente . Walking distance to beach,
Pier, local eats, shopping and groceries. Perfectly stocked kitchen(love that microwave btw) great linens, hot tub was clean as well as the home. Thanks for the great week.

We loved staying here with family. The property is exactly what you see in pictures. We enjoyed shuffle board and ping pong games. It was prefect for barbecuing and cooking. A very comfortable space. Definitely hope to stay here again.

It was a comfortable home with excellent proximity to the beach and downtown shopping area. My only complaint was that they provided only two kitchen drying towels and no dish rags, only a sponge to wipe counters, etc down with. With that being said, I would still highly recommend this property and the shuffle board provided great entertainment!

House is very cute, spacious, and comfortable. Management company was responsive to any questions or needs. The best thing is the location - half a mile walk to San Clemente downtown area that has shops, restaurants, and bars, and beach was walking distance too. It was nice being able to park in the garage and just walk all over. Highly recommend!

The house was located in a perfect part of San Clemente with a nice layout. Big kitchen and plenty of room to relax. Kids loved the shuffleboard and the two couches to find their own space!! Only complaints were lack of good cooking supplies as pans are well worn and cooking supplies are a bit dated and abused and master bed does make a ton of noise with every bit of movement. Seems to be the box spring making all the noise. Aside from that, it was a beautiful and nice place to stay! Will definitely stay there again!!🤙🏼

Check in was so easy and house was ready when we arrived. Very nice, clean and bright. Loved all the windows! Hot tub was clean and great after a day of exploring! I would definitely stay there again!!

This was an amazing property, as soon as we walked in, it didn’t disappoint us. It’s a perfect little location to the beach and restaurants. We had a family of 8 and we all fit comfortably in the home with enough room to hang out. Very clean and everything was stocked. The only thing was the driveway, it is very steep so be careful with your car. We definitely stay again.

Modernized beautifully! Wonderful neighborhood and close to grocery and restaurants. Communication with management was prompt and efficient The games for the kids were fun and the hot tub was crystal clean. We loved our stay and would definitely come back and stay here again.

we loved this house. Nice to be able to park in the garage for us in our mid-70s. Everything was as advertised. Convenient and just up the street from the couple we were visiting. Would consider next time we visit the area.

We really enjoyed staying in this home. It was close to the beach and freeway. The hot tub was perfect for relaxation. The kitchen and living areas had ample seating. The kitchen was stocked enough to easily cook a meal. Wish we had stayed longer!

This house is beautiful! The neighborhood is tropical, hilly, and quiet. We loved the layout of the house, and the fact it had a back porch overlooking the neighborhood w a jacuzzi was a bonus. The kitchen came fully equipped w everything you’ll need for cooking excluding the food. The only complaint was the beds, were so uncomfortable. The king was so noisy too. Any time one of us moved, there was loud squeaks and the sound of crinkling plastic. And the driveway was VERY steep. We have a SUV and everytime we backed out we were forced the scrape our front bumper on the driveway. House was kept up for the most part as far as cleanliness goes. Chairs and couch could use a deep clean. Over all we enjoyed this house and will definitely go back.

Loved this home. The location was great, it felt very homey, and it had everything we needed. We had a problem with our toilet and they were there within one hour to fix it. The house was very clean and we loved the hot tub. Our only complaint was that the king size bed was squeaky.

This property is in a very fun location. Easy to walk to the beach. The hot tub was perfect. Very clean, very spacious. The layout of the house is perfection. The only thing I would recommend is maybe some more cereal bowls and dish towels. Other than that, it was perfect. Would love to contact the homeowner and purchase this from them! Ha ha ha.

Such a charming home within walking distance to lots of activities in the downtown San Clemente area and the beach/pier. Very comfortable home, nice bathrooms, comfy beds, plenty of hangout spots both inside and out. Shuffleboard and a hot tub! The driveway is steep, but after a few tries, we figured out out how to have minimal scraping, lol. Will definitely keep this one on the short list when looking to rent in the area again. Thank you!

This was one of my most favorite stays. Very open, welcoming, comfortable space. We had one issue with a door due to the rain, and the issue was handled in less than an hour. Loved it!

Great location. Lovely neighborhood. The house was very comfortable, open and airy. Very nice outdoor spaces. There was a hot tub but we didn’t use it. The kitchen and bathrooms (showers only; no bath tubs) as well as other amenities were decently adequate for our needs. We would definitely come back again.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The house was supposed to include a foosball table but it did not. The ping pong table was broken and we couldn’t park on the driveway because it was too steep. Thrashed the underside of the bumper on our rental car. I called management but they told me too bad and to find off site parking. Supposedly it was not allowed to park on the street but we did anyways. Long story short is if you have a somewhat low profile vehicle do not attempt to park on the driveway.

We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful home December 3rd - 9th, and loved everything about it! The openness of the floor plan, the beautiful decor, and that wonderfully cozy fireplace made our stay perfect!

We loved everything about this slice of paradise— walking distance to the beach with an included wagon of toys, right to the beach and West Toast Cafe … and a perfect distance to DelMar shops and cute coastal Crepes and ice cream. Loved watching the surfers and taking in the pier view…while kids boogie boarded. Then back to our comfy spacious home with separate areas for all the kids and common areas too! Winding down in the hot tub and by the fireplace when it was cooler… a special treat! Loved it all!!

Beautiful home but it needs- TLC & Maintenance. I have never submitted a critical review but I feel its important for the owners to take notice. We were charged for the hot tub cleaning & upon arrival it was dirty. Roll up blinds many of the strings were broken not allowing you to open. Master bdrm. door lock to the balcony was broken so I took some rope from my SUV & tied it up while we were out for the day. And then the toilet broke. Front porch chairs, several of the chairs are completely deteriorated & not functional to use. The landscaping & property fence were totally knocked over. The property mgr. was friendly & responsive but the owners need to do some work to charge that high of a rental.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Lots of amenities to keep everyone entertained. The beds are but the softest or most comfy but overall we were very happy with our stay and will look into rebooking when we visit San Clemente again.

Didn't disappoint
The property was more beautiful in person than the pictures online. We had a couple issues the first day we got there, but they resolved them the next day. We tried to call to get the issues resolved and was on hold for almost an hour. Got on their Facebook page and left a message and they called us right away. The house is on a busier street, but it wasn't noisy inside the house. Just a 5 min walk to the beach. A few things that need to be improved are the blinds. They are a little outdated and several were broken and didn't work. We opened windows to bring in some cooler air and also noticed windows were in need of being cleaned. The bed in the master bedroom definitely needs to be replaced. It felt like a water bed. When my husband would get out of bed my side would rise and vice versa. Very noisy when turning over in bed. That would be my biggest complaint of this place. Would definitely stay there again.

Excellent Property with a few management tweaks needed
This is a beautifully appointed home. Well designed with quality materials and good taste. We are mid-century modern lovers so we appreciated some of the Scandinavian furnishings. Very comfortable. The complaints we had are easily resolved. The dishwasher was dirty upon our arrival. Someone probably just forgot to run it.
We've never made a reservation through Vacasa before, so I was having a hard time locating all of the info (address, codes, stay info) because I wasn't sure if it was found through Vacasa or VRBO. There were some communication things that should have been obvious but were not: How to use the garage, processes for leaving/checking out. We didn't get a text about things until the morning we checked out, we had an early flight so it was too late, we were on our way out. There was hot tub maintenance done during our stay...it would have been nice to have a heads up because our bedroom window was open and we were napping after a red-eye flight...it scared us!
When we arrived the heat was OFF and it was unseasonably cold in CA. It was 54° in the house and it took hours to warm up. It was always felt drafty in the house, even if we set the thermostat high. Perhaps it could be left on low when a guest is arriving?
There is not a bathroom in the master bedroom. There is one between the two bedrooms and one at the front of the house. It was not an issue for us, but it should be noted.
All of our concerns are things that are fixable. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if they were addressed.

Great beach escape
The house was great for a small family. Open floor plan with everything you need. Very close to the food and drink spots. 8min walk to the beach. The management is there right away if you need them. Definitely would be back.

Well stocked. Master mattress could use an upgrade, second bedroom ceiling fan is missing, loved the set up with open concept and shuffle board table. Hot tub was nice. House could use a few upgrades but decent. Had all amenities you need. Nice location. Close to ocean and town.

We used this home as my getting ready location for our wedding day, followed by a nice 2 day stay for me and my now husband! Everything about this house is beautifully done and worked perfectly for my group of 6 bridesmaids to get our hair and makeup done and take some getting ready photos. The interior is beautiful just as shown in pictures and the multiple decks were so nice to enjoy. The kitchen has every amenity and the spa was a perfect way to relax and wind down after our busy wedding weekend. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thanks for being a special home in our memory forever…
One small note, although the house is listed as parking for 4 cars, the garage itself can really only hold one car (maybe 2 very very compact cars) and the driveway can fit an additional 2 cars. It worked out fine though as any visitors can park on the street as long as it’s not overnight parking.
