The view from my window

Nice views from panoramaroom and restaurant. The breakfast and dinner buffets had a very good range of choices and good quality food. Even vegetarian and vegan options. Very clean rooms with comfortable beds and bedding. The sauna has an amazing view on nature. We had a very good stay for a good price!

Some tips to make it a really nice hotelexperience: -In spite of a very lengthy notice about watertemperature being personal etc, the water was among the coldest we have experienced in a hotel. -Lots of administration at check-inn, with e.g. a small paper “parkingpass” (to be returned after the stay!), and a card to note the drinks at dinner, with a fine of 80€ (!) when lost. - A long semi-scientific note on the virtues of using no clothing in the sauna ‘for everybody’s health’. These -albeit small- things made us feel a little bit less welcome.

Our room looked out on a wall, which I find quite ironic when the hotel is named 'Panorama'. Also room felt very outdated in terms of decoration. Double bed consists of two separate ones, not ideal as a couple. Rooms are quite noisy. The service at breakfast is also questionable with a weird sign up system for hour/table. We didnt understand it and were quite rudely told that we were at the wrong table. Just a little confusion, but it didnt help to start the day on a positive note. Breakfast variety was quite big though, so that was nice.

The view is fantastic and relaxing

The calm and peaceful mountain view from the window was nice. Breakfast and dinner were provided at an extra price. The food was okay. There were 2 timeslots to choose from for breakfast: approx. at 8 am or 9 am. For dinner, it was just at around 6:15 pm, no other timeslot. The room smelled like cigarettes but after some ventilation, it got better. The hotel also offered us a different, but smaller room as an alternative.

I expected one large bed, but it was two small beds combined. The swimming pool is small, and also the temperature of the water was not warm enough to swim. It was hard to locate the hotel at night even with a google map since the hotel is located where there's not much light. (You definitely need a car to reach the hotel.)

Due to covid it seems that they where working on minimum staffing but my stay was hardly effected by that. Great location

Due to the Covid situation I was totally supprised that the reception was closed after 17:00 when I arrived at 18:20. Check in times on booking says till 20:00 Lucky there was someone still finishing up some work at the office and was kindly enough helped me checking in. 8

Breakfast was great. There was sufficient variety and it was tasty.

Friendly staff, good services and wonderful view.

Would have preferred extra towels for the pool.

It was an amazing view of the hotel. Nice breakfast! It was a short night stay!
