Property is fine,pool is great and walking distance to restaurants and taxi was good.

I loved getting to stay at this condo. The location is fantastic. Easy to walk into the Cruz Bay. The condo was clean and well appointed. The pool is lovely. The view is lovely. Communication with the property manager was easeful and helpful. I would easily book this place again if I came back to St Johns

This property is very conveniently located to Cruz Bay. It’s a short walk into town although the hill going back is a little steep! Patti was super easy to work with & answered all questions promptly! There is no washer/dryer at the complex & no dishwasher in kitchen. Plan accordingly! The view off the back patio is amazing & perfect for coffee in the morning & cocktails in the evening. Highly recommend!

First of all the communication was top notch with the host, she was also very thoughtful and gave us a lot of snacks. There was snorkel gear, 4 chairs and 4 towels so you do not have to worry about bringing any of them. There was a parking spot if you need it. The pool was VERY clean. The location was perfect, a short 5 min walk to taxis and restaurants so you really wouldn’t need a car, many other stays are up big hills so we were lucky where ours was. The place is nicer than the pictures depict. You will love having your morning coffee on the deck, it will be hard to do anything else. Will stay again if got the chance!

This villa is a lovely, quiet place to stay within walking distance to Cruz Bay. Parking spaces are there for each of the 4 units. The unit also has beach chairs, beach towels and a cooler for excursions. The walk to all the restaurants and stores is about 5 minutes. The pool is lovely for a relaxing dip after the beach. Enjoy a quiet getaway with beautiful views to Frank Bay and St John.

Loved the fairly easy walk to Cruz Bay for access to restaurants, bars and shopping. The condo offered basic essentials for our stay. The property manager was very pleasant and responsive. We did enjoy the pool after the hot walk back from town or a day at the beach. The unit could use a little updating and TLC.

Stunning ocean view apartment! Even better than the listing. Ample space for 2 couples, beautiful balcony that you can hear the ocean from. Just a 7 min walk to Cruz Bay city center. Check in process was easy - Patti met us at the door and gave us a tour. Could not recommend this property any more highly.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Larimar. You can't beat the location and quick walk to town. The condo was clean, with comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen. The view from the large deck made for relaxing mornings enjoying coffee and cocktails in the evening to watch the remarkable sunsets. Patti was wonderful to work with and met us at the condo upon arrival. We look forward to returning to STJ and staying at Larimar again. Thank you!

Loved this! Couldn't have stayed in a better location. It was pointless to rent a car and the walks(drunken 😜) back and forth to condo and into town was great. They are located in a big hill but if you went around to the other side, it was not a steep long big hill. The pool was inviting, the views breathtaking and the home was exactly all we needed. Thanks for having us and yes we would definitely stay in this same home on the next visit.

This was the best condo I’ve ever been to. Perfect setting, clean, everything we needed and some we did not know til we got there. Patty, the property manager was excellent and very helpful! We loved the private pool sharing with just 3 other condos but no one else at the pool the whole week but us. It was close enough to walk to restaurants and some shopping. Would highly recommend this condo to everyone. We hope to visit again and this is where we would like to stay!

This place was almost perfect! The location was great as was the view and the condo. Parking was also good. The pool was well maintained and clean as was the property itself. Patti was a super host. Excellent communication and very helpful. Check in and check out were simple and quick. I would fully recommend this property for a visit to St. Johns.

Property was perfect!

The condo was nice, very roomy. Patti was so nice and accommodating, waiting for us when we had to come in on the last ferry. There were some bagged snacks on the table and a few waters in the fridge when we got there which was great. The master bedroom was large with a very comfortable king sized bed with attached bath. We didn't use the other bedroom but we did use that bathroom. Kitchen was pretty well stocked with pots, pans, etc, just no plastic containers. There were quite a few leftover condiments in the fridge too which was nice. There are tons of windows and there was a great breeze but due to the construction still going on across the way, it was extremely noisy all day long starting promptly at 8am. Hopefully that ends soon because it hampered our enjoyment of the balcony and the pool during the day. And while there is AC, the windows don't really close super tight and there's about an inch or more between the patio doors and the floors. So even though we closed the windows and used the AC at night you could still hear the roosters, peacocks and dogs all night long. Bring ear plugs. Definitely needs a little sprucing up. The floors are not in great shape, very worn. And all of the cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms are pretty rough in both appearance and functionality. We loved the balcony and had our coffee and breakfast out there every morning before the construction started. It would be great to have a couple loungers or a couch on the balcony instead of the hammock which was super uncomfortable and really wasn't useable. There were several beach chairs that we used almost every day when we went to the beach which was awesome. Location for us was great as it's just a short walk in to town. Slightly steep incline on the way back but wasn't an issue for us. Overall we liked it and would probably stay again as long as the construction is done.

Everything we expected and more. Plenty of room inside and the deck was terrific. Close walk to town - the uphill return could be challenging to some. The iguanas in the adjacent trees were interesting. Also enjoyed the pool.

Everything was great! Patti had ac installed just before we arrived which was wonderful! It is close to town with everything you need and more. There were Beach chairs, cooler, snorkel supplies, and anything you could need for a relaxing day at the beach. It was a wonderful getaway even though it was still hurricane season and some things were still closed! We would definitely stay here again!

Property had everything that we needed (beach chairs, cooler, stocked kitchen). We found the lack of AC in the bedrooms very difficult to deal with and probably would not stay again, but it would only be because we would want AC to sleep. There are two hills (one very steep and another that gradually increases) to get to the property. We only used the pool one night when the power went out on the island and it cooled us off!

Had a great time with my family. Walking distance to the restaurants, shops, taxis and ferry. It was a little challenge finding the condo and getting our luggage and groceries up the hill. Once we got there, life was good. We had picked up groceries at Moe’s Market in St. Thomas, thinking we were getting a ride to the condo from the property manager. We never used the pool, spent every day at the local beaches until sunset. Our favorite was MaHo to see the see turtles. You don’t need to bring a cooler, snorkel fins, floats or chairs. The condo has them. It was a little weird not having glass in the windows, just screens and iron. The roosters start crowing by 4-5am. There are a lot of bird/construction sounds in the mornings. If you’re a light sleeper and like to sleep in, you may not like this condo. It was nice having two separate bedrooms with there own bathrooms. Great for couples vacationing together.

The is a wonderfully spacious place with a large deck for relaxing. Beautiful views of the sea. Beds were very comfortable. It was a tad hot with no AC, but we were expecting that. So nice to have some drinks in the fridge and toiletries in the bathrooms - love those touches! Just down the hill is a lovely little coffee shop and small sundry. Part of a resort, but open to all. Really nice walk into town and all the restaurants. Only complaint was the construction on the house immediately in front of us. Which made afternoon relaxation at the pool or on the deck impossible. But not the fault of the host at all and I am sure the construction will be complete soon.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Caribe! The spot is just up the hill from all the action in Cruz Bay. At first I was skeptical about staying at a place with no a/c, but the provided fans kept us cool at night. Loved having access to a pool. There was rarely anyone using it. Everything we needed to prepare meals was available in the villa. Shoutout to Patti for wonderful communication prior to and during our stay. She provided wonderful suggestions and tips to make our stay more enjoyable. We’ll be back!!

Upon arriving, the gorgeous views from the porch nearly took my breath away. The owner provided a walk-through of the villa and pool area. I was pleasantly surprised to find extra toiletries on hand such as sunscreen and makeup removing wipes, which made me feel very welcomed. Thank you for that! The views from the porch were spectacular. My friend and I felt safe and very comfortable. Having a bathroom in each bedroom (two bedrooms) was a treat as it provided privacy and space that we both needed after a long day of activities. Bedrooms are spacious. As in other reviews, yes, you are awakened to the sound of roosters crowing, construction nearby and peacocks, but it did not prove to be a huge bother. I had the fan on and the sounds became normal to awaken with. At night, it was quiet. It's a short walk down the hill into Cruz Bay where there are plenty of shops, restaurants and bars. I would definitely stay again. I did not feel isolated or too much in the center. This place offered a nice balance within the neighborhood. Communication was excellent with the owner.

My friend and I came down for a week and really loved this adorable place. The photos actually don't do it justice... it's super cute and it will be even better once it is update with A/C. The pool was very nice, though we spent all of our time on the beaches. The kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfy. Super convenient location. Even got to see the wild peacocks that live nearby. I would definitely stay here again.

This condo is amazing. While there is no AC, it gets a ton of cross breezes. The patio is huge with great views. Tons of space for two couples. EASY walk to Cruz Bay. Patti the host is the best and made sure every detail was taken care of for us!

Loved it! The views from the deck are stunning (great for morning coffee & sunset cocktails). We enjoyed watching the birds at the salt pond & had many hummingbirds and bananaquits visit the feeders. The interior was clean, bright, cheerful, lovely decor, and had everything we needed (the pictures do not do it justice). Having no a/c, was not an issue, as the quiet ceiling fans & breezes were more than adequate. We loved being able to walk to Frank Bay and town. Highly recommend it (we will definitely rent again). Lastly, thanks to the owner & property manager, Patti... both were great.

Amazing property!! The location was perfect, could walk to town, the views unbelievable, and everything you could think of was in the house! Patti was a great host, easy to contact, and very responsive! Can’t wait to come back next year!!
