This house was absolutely beautiful. It had everything needed for the perfect vacation. Our son loved the pool. We were able to sit and relax at the many seating areas by the pool while he swam. I was able to be preparing meals and still be able to see him at all times with the beautiful sliding glass walls. The bedrooms, livingroom, kitchen and sitting area are very large and spacious. With all the glass being inside you still feel like you are outside. My husband and son spent a lot of time at the canal fishing and watching the big turtles and alligator swimming around. The location is very quiet and peaceful but still minutes away from stores and beaches. We will definitely be staying here again for future vacations if available.

The view of the Lani and the water when you walk in the front door is spectacular. “Alexa” was a very nice touch, especially on the morning of checkout when we told her, “Alexa…turn on the Roomba!” Hopeful to return again…maybe become Snowbirds one day!

The setting is very relaxing. The pool is the perfect place to float and sip you cool beverage. The house is very well maintained. Within a 15 mile radius is plenty of shopping places, restaurants, fast food and fine dining. A short drive away is the beautiful beach. It was a very needy rest from the rush of everyday life. Our family enjoyed the nicely furnished home with the TV's and open room to spread out. I highly recommend the home and owner. A very delightful and excellent experience.

This is our second year staying at this property and we absolutely love it! It’s perfect for our family. Very roomy, clean, view is amazing from the pool and nice and quiet area. Host is amazing at communicating and checking in to make sure everything is going okay. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful home to stay in!

Lanai sliders had limited availability for use (one side of sliders could not be used/broken), lanai sliding glass doors needed cleaning. Some fixtures in house need repair. Blinds/curtains do not provide adequate privacy at night. Property appears to be occupied when not renting. Canal views were awesome (even spotted a gator or 2). located in very peaceful setting.

Fabulous property/Wonderful host!
You’ll fall in love with this beautiful home and not want to leave! The pool and view was so nice, plenty of space for a family or a few couples, close to several beaches. We went to 4 different beaches during our stay. Ft. Myers was the farthest; around 45 min.
There were plenty of towels, dishes and cookware. Thomas made the check in process so easy! Would definitely stay here again!!

Great Escape from Winter
We had a nice stay away from the cold of New England. Thomas was easy to deal with and we were happy to be able to delay our stay a year due to the pandemic. The house itself was clean but the pool storage closet and pool bathroom were very musty. The furniture is also beginning to show its age. The mattress in the guest room could stand to be replaced and the master is not far behind. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, especially the warm pool and lanai area. We would have returned next year, but the house had already been rented for Feb.

Fantastic home with everything and more
This is our new go to place in Fl. My family & I couldn't have asked for anything more. The kitchen had everything and more. The pool was PERFECT! Tom is a wonderful host, and made us feel right at home. We spent many days at Boca Grande Beach, which is just a short drive. The neighbourhood is very quiet & I felt very safe. We saw the alligator in the canal several times which was a treat for 5-year-old! My husband & I enjoyed sitting by pool early in the morning with the stillness of the canal....such peace & quiet. We can't wait to go back!

Nice but needs some attention in areas
The house & pool were lovely, however it was not as clean as should be expected. Some of the furniture was stained & torn. The bathrooms were very clean. The outside lanais needed a good power washing. The host was very nice & said he would let his cleaning crew know about my concerns.

Last Minute Vacation
The home was beautiful, big, open and spacious. The pool was inviting, views of pool area and canal were amazing. Over all the home was clean, some of the floors could have been mopped better and found some pots and pans that were greasy and on the dirty side. Over all we were very pleased.

Sunset Paradise Vacation August 13-20, 2021
Thomas was a great host, friendly and his property was beautiful, check in was very easy as was his communication before and after we checked in we had a wonderful stay and would stay again and recommend this property to others.
We did have a few problems though which Thomas tried to address as soon as he heard from me in an email. Multiple lightbulbs burned out outside that made the property dark at night, the garage, security spotlights were not working and there were no working lights on the beautiful back yard, it was a shame because at night on the canal the neighbors lights made it so nice we would have liked to enjoy it as well. The lanai fans and lights were intermittently working and after Thomas came to address the lights he said he is probably going to update them which would make the cozy space even more enjoyable.
We had a really hot week we enjoyed the pool but the pool guys that came on Wednesday did not vac the pool they just swept up the debris so the skimmer could get it and they were there for less than 15 minutes and shocked the pool with liquid chlorine and maybe they could use a chlorine floater with some tabs in it to keep the chlorine up because the pool needed a little more during the hot sunny week. Having had pools at my own home a floater just keeps the pool fresh and clean for a week until the pool services return weekly. The red tide was a real problem and we didn’t catch any fish in the canal. We chartered a boat to go out on the gulf and fishing was pretty poor but we did catch some small fish in the gulf none in the canal but that’s not the property owners fault it was just disappointing that we had to deal with red tide on our vacation.
We love the ceiling fans and the beautiful Florida home style it was just a refreshing relaxing vacation, just had a few issues but I’m sure when Thomas addresses them as he said he would it would be even more wonderful and we would not hesitate to book with Thomas again!
From my family we thank you for opening your home up to us and fixing the few issues we had as soon as you could.

Better than expected!!
Honestly the pictures do not do this place justice! It was perfect for our family! We enjoyed being able to watch the kids swim while sitting back and enjoy the view of the water behind us. We even got to see some of the wild life common to the area! We will definitely be booking again in the future.

A nice place to call home for home for a week for my sons Graduation will them.
The over all was a great stay, nice house the Lani over the pool could use a cleaning it was quite moldy and well as needing a new grill brush for quests to grill out. The home owner sent a nice message a couple days in, kindly letting me know if we had time to wash the towels and sheets before we leave. ( cleaning fee doesn't cover this service? ) Then a day or so later I needed to contact Tom for more toilet paper and paper towel for the house, letting him know about the grill brushes well.. Wed afternoon a gentleman walked in the back yard that I was not expecting to look at the boat slip he may rent? On the property I had rented for a week with no mention of others guests renting the slip in the back yard . I contacted Tom promptly about the unwelcome guest in the fenced in yard with no mention. We had a nice time I think being a short term renter you are getting a little lax . The house should be properly stocked for the length of stay per guest. 3 rolls of toilet paper and a 1/8 roll of paper towel isn't enough. the pool was great and the wild life was out. Overall we had a nice vacation nice to have a place to call home and relax for a week Great neighbors as well. Thank you for having us.

we really enjoy our stay here we did not want to go but all good thing come to and end everything you need to cook bake to get by is there we were there 8 days and i caught enough fish for dinner for 5 night for 4 people it was great but i will tell you i am a lazy fisherman i fish with a fishing bobber i had it set about 3 1/2 feet up from the hook with live shrimp and did very good i guess if you do not like fish then this want matter but we all love fish so it saved us from eating out them 5 days its a great place pool was great and the host Thomas if there is a problem he get back with you very quickly we really enjoy our stay hope to stay again

Enjoyed house and pool, but needs some light maintenance.
The house is very spacious and in a good location. The pool was a good size and clean. The only thing I noticed was the lanai needs some pressure washing and some new fans outside. The house was clean, but the fans inside need some dusting and I wasn't able to find the sink disposal switch? All in all it was a great place to stay!

Thomas was a great host and property manager. He was very helpful with recommendations for places to go and restaurants to eat at. The house is absolutely beautiful. My kids enjoyed the pool and fishing in the backyard. Great family memories made and would love to come back and stay again. I would recommend this home for your next family vacation.
