We hosted a 90th birthday party with family and this house couldn’t have been more perfect. Great location. Gorgeous views. House is comfortable, clean and well appointed. It easily accommodates a big group. Highly recommend.

This was the perfect house for my husband and I to celebrate our 60th wedding anniversary with our children and grandchildren.We found it to be clean and roomy with spectacular views of York Harbor.There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our group of 14 adults. The beds were comfortable and the water in the showers was hot.The main kitchen was so large it took us a couple of days to remember where dishes, pots and pans, silverware, utensils, etc. were.The 3 refrigerators offered ample storage space for our perishables and the huge laundry room was fully equipped with not only a washer and dryer, but several large clothes racks, an ironing board and an iron.There were plenty of rooms downstairs to spread out to do puzzles, play games, read and just sit around.There was a bedroom down stairs that opened onto the porch.This was perfect for a family member who has trouble with mobility.Outside there is a porch, a large lawn, a pier and York Harbor Beach. The neighborhood is quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of Long Sands and Short Sands. There were a few negatives.We had a problem finding a sharp knife to pare vegetables and the cupboard and closet doors tended to stick. The bureau in my room was missing nobs, which prevented me from opening most of the draws and the plug in my sink was broken.However, all the positives outweighed every single negative. Nathan, the property manager, was very responsive.He answered all the questions I texted him immediately.

We all had a wonderful time in York Harbor, beautiful home, fantastic location, great weather....what more can I say!! We all loved it!! Thank you Nathan!!

We had a large family group and this house was perfect. Lots of bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen space. The property is well maintained, clean and located near many attractions.

This house was great for our large family ages range from 2 years old to 70. The house was very comfortable and spacious it was an Inn so each room had its own bath and most rooms were very roomy. The kitchen was well equipped to the point of needing organization and probably removing some items but rather have more than too little. The beds were comfortable and the a/c worked but window units were noisy. The linens including pillows can use some updating. The photos of house are accurate. It’s a step back in time regarding decorating and some fixtures. The house was very clean so that takes precedence over decor in my opinion. The house was very well equipped with towels for beach and bath toiletries blankets beach chairs and a beach wagon. Location was so fantastic we were able to walk to beach and local restaurant. We fished off the wonderful dock! All appliances worked great we made lobster and barbecued. I highly recommend this house if you don’t mind that the furniture-decorating and bath/kitchen needs updating. We will go back if we can gather our crew together again.

Property was perfect for our large family get together. All 9 kids had a great time at the beach and at the house. Adults loved the accommodations.

We had a fantastic time staying at this beautiful home. The owner was so accommodating with my specific requests. I appreciated his quick follow up on any text I sent! This was my wedding week, and even used the house for gorgeous getting ready photos inside and first look pictures out on the lawn. So happy with how they turned out. Everything is described so accurately in the listing. Did I mention there are 3 coffee makers? We had 2 working full-time each morning! My brother in law took full advantage of the chef's kitchen and cooked up many meals for the whole family. So glad there were 3 fridges for all the food he bought! One of the main reasons I chose this home was for the main floor bedroom and bathroom for my Dad as his balance isn't the best and didn't want him navigating steep stairs. The bathroom on the main floor left us wishing the old style tiny walk in tub/shower combo had been replaced with a new shower with no tub. Every other shower in the house was great.

The location of the house is absolutely incredible. The house is extremely large with essentially 3 separate living areas so there’s plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen was stocked very well with pots/pans, utensils, etc. The bed linens / pillows could use an update but that is my only (very small) complaint.

Our family absolutely loved this large well equipped and clean house with lots of extras. It was the perfect location within walking distance to York Harbor Beach and lovely view over looking the harbor. Plenty of parking and a huge kitchen made our large family gathering extra special.

Perfect place to get together six adults and four kids ages 7 to 10. Good location; either to just stay there or go on excursions. York Harbor Beach is a short walk across the street. The new kitchen has all that we needed. Room are spacious, and beds comfortable. The owner Nathan responds to questions quickly.

This property ticked all the boxes for our extended family vacation: more than enough space for a large group to have both privacy and togetherness, beautiful views, easy access to a great beach for small children, kitchen large enough to accommodate multiple cooks, excellent laundry facilities. Host provided a very detailed house manual that was a significant help to vacation planning.

This property is simply fantastic! The location is tremendous, right on the harbor. The beach was awesome. The house itself? Wow! Spacious, functional, clean, well equipped, and well appointed. The property manager was super attentive - thanks again Nathan. Highly recommended. We had a great time.

Overall, excellent.! Communication with owner was prompt and very helpful. Location couldn’t have been better for our 3 generations. Proximity to beach, town, and walking trails was perfect. Spacious home was ideal for our group of 18 family members. Kitchen was large and well equipped. Bedrooms were comfortable. Lots of space for the family to spread out. We will be back!

This property, the management of it, the communication and the location were all top-notch and first-class. Nothing but raves from our family of 18 with many calls for booking already for next year. Nathan was super helpful and always a text message away. I can not recommend this property enough. Simply a stunner of a vacation. A+

This historic house fit the bill perfectly for our large family group. Close to beach, bright with lots of windows, plenty of space —large kitchen with multiple refrigerators, counter space was great for preparing family dinners with multiple cooks. Large dining table fit our whole group with water views. Terrific area for relaxing or activities nearby. Responsive host. Highly recommend!

Overall, great experience. The location of the property is perfect; a few minutes from the beach and from walking paths. Also, great yard for the kids to play in and the house is large enough for our family of 8 adults and four children. The wagon and beach towels in the garage were great. The kitchen area and family gathering space is small. An island on wheels in the kitchen would be a great addition for prep space. There were a few other issues that could be addressed by the owner: soap dispenser in dishwasher will not stay closed, some lights in bathrooms need new bulbs, lighting in master bathroom needs to be addressed (cracked light covers and florescent light does not stay lit permanently) , refrigerator door shelves are missing, 2 hanging lanterns over dining table are in head bumping territory, and garage keypad did not work and we were not able to change the code on the main door. Our family enjoyed the time spent there. It was a great getaway for the weekend!

Check in time of 3p not met,1 hour delay cleaning crew, strong odor 3rd flr bath, found pile of feces top shelf closet-dirty towels left 1st flr bath-no cleaning supplies avail-no 2nd propane tank for gas grill-fire alarms were not activated-unable to change code on digital door lock-kitchen and sitting area had no AC—extremely hot, some of kitchen chairs were unusable, unable to use tv 2nd flr bedroom-choose local tv for news and screen freezes. The house location was perfect-that’s why we chose it. The feces found in 3rd flr bath was disgusting. Owner was notified and our family member removed feces and disinfected. Dirty towels in flr 1 bath were stained, possibly from flr 3 scenario. So many stipulations by owner which we abided by yet amenities listed in VRBO were not provided. This was a very expensive rental for a family vacation and expectations fell short. However, as stated before, the location was beautiful.

Our party ended up being 10 people. The house was more than adequate with enough space (and then some.) We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful view. The proximity to the water and the great restaurants within walking distance. Great trails to walk as well. Nathan made the check in process very easy and handled any issues as promptly as possible. The landscape is even better than the pictures. Furthermore, the pictures of the interior of the house don’t do it justice. Pleasantly surprised with how big and beautiful the rooms were! Thank you!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The owners responded quickly to any questions and the house itself was interesting - bathrooms and bedrooms were a great size and everything was clean, impressive especially since this is an older house. The location is awesome, with just a very short (2 minute) walk to the beach. The beach itself was great though there isn't a ton of space at high tide. However, it was much warmer than we expected and the waves were perfect for the kids (ages 9 months-6 years) and adults. A few things about the house:- the kitchen is tiny. We saw this in the reviews but didn't realize just how tiny it was. There is almost no counter space and very little cabinet space. We had to clear off a bookshelf next to the kitchen to store food. The fridge also isn't very big. We were 10 people (6 adults and 4 children) and we had to be careful about how much food we had. We also knew the kitchen wasn't going to be huge so we just planned a few simple meals (grilling, etc.) but even for that, the kitchen was very tight.- there is very little in terms of utensils in the kitchen and no condiments or spices. We did get a note saying to bring our favorite condiments but we rent houses a few times a year and have never stayed in one where there was literally nothing, not even sugar or some leftover spices from past guests. - there is no bathroom on the first floor. This is not so much an issue for most adults but with little kids, it's something to keep in mind.- the house was the right size for us but it would be difficult to fit in more than another 2 adults (or potentially a few more children). There is no good common space besides in the kitchen, though that space is amazing with the breeze and the views. However, you can only comfortably fit about 12 people in there, maybe a few more for socializing but definitely not more than that for a shared meal. There is technically a room on the first floor that is a sitting room but it is very dark and just not pleasant to spend time in. Also note that the TV is on top of the fridge in the kitchen - the angle is fine for watching but it's just a little high up.

My friends and our families had an amazing stay at this beautiful home! The location is unbeatable! Having a small beautiful beach within walking distance and the marina as your backyard is pretty spectacular! Both kids and adults had plenty to do. We enjoyed biking, kayaking, boating, crabbing, fishing and anything else we could find! It really was an amazing vacation and we hope to return next summer! A few things to note though- If anyone in your group needs to work remotely while there, the wifi is a bit unreliable so it may not work for you. Also, there did not seem to be enough kitchen goods for a large group. Nothing earth shattering but a few things to note was that there was no blender and limited platters, bowls and pots/pans. We ended up going to the store to get some additional kitchenware to accommodate our group. Other than that the house was great. Not a huge common area for the kids to veg out in after a day in the sun (the tv is on top of the tv in the main kitchen/dining room) but in the end we decided the view was better than any tv show! The owners were wonderful and responded quickly to any needs we had. I would definitely recommend to anyone!

Was as great as advertised. Big roomy house. Could use one more couch in the kitchen/common room; and would be nice if they cut a deal w local yacht club for access to kayaks, but otherwise really really nice.

Great location for a family vacation.

Stayed for ten days with 10 members of my family. The house is beautifully located across the street from a beach and pool. The harbor is just outside the back yard. Seeing fog roll in around the boats was great. Plenty of nice air conditioned bedrooms , big, quite, comfortable beds. I cooked about 8 nights no problems. Everything worked and the frig is big. Grill very nice for shrimp and steak. I truly would say that this is s great vacation mansion. Thanks
