Russ was an amazing communicator and host. The house was very well stocked with blankets and spices and we really liked the “pay it forward” attitude; leaving little treats for the next guest. The house is the perfect size and was very clean. Easy access to the beach and we loved that we could use the beach chairs and toys for the kids since flying with those items is impossible. We will be renting from him again. Thank you for a great vacation!

The home was beautiful. All things you need for a wondeful vacation, ocean view, a few steps to the beach, board games if it rains, plenty of space in the home, organized, and clean. Russ was a wonderful host so fast to respond and help with not only questions I had about the beach house but helpful with tips of things to do as well. This is a must stay for any family.

We had a great week! The property was immaculate, the bedrooms were lovely, (our kids especially loved the bunk room!) and communication was very thorough and helpful.

Our family of 8 had a great time at the beach for Spring Break even though it was a bit chilly. We enjoyed the stocked home and had everything we needed! The only thing that seemed to be an issue was the water getting cold when we were all trying to take showers (we’re used to our tankless water heater!) Overall, we had plenty of space and a great view! Enjoyed playing cornhole on the deck. Thanks again!

The house was absolutely perfect. Aside from it’s awesome location, the house was well stocked with all the comforts that you can’t always bring with you on vacation. The cabinets were stocked with all the essentials (spices and all staple pantry items) and it was easy for us to relax and enjoy our home away from home for a week. It’s easy to tell that the home owners have their guests in mind and do all that they can to ensure that we’re comfortable and have the best stay.

The only issue was parking. We had to pay to park at the house and one of the over flow parking lots you had to pay again.

Home was very clean, stocked with essentials. A/C was great. Beds were comfortable. Russell was great at communicating with me. This was my first time renting through VRBO and this experience was great! Ocean lakes is a great family place. My family had a great time!

Our family had a wonderful time at this beach house. It was very clean and spacious. We had family with little ones that were able to have their own space and sleep peacefully. This house is located just yards away from the beach which made it so convenient to walk back and forth. The owner is very easy to communicate with and answered any questions l had promptly. We will definitely rent this house again.

This was an amazing vacation. I can not say enough good things about the owner. He would respond to any questions immediately and also gave his cell number if any issues arose. The house was very clean and so close to the beach that we were able to take pictures from the porch. There were even beach toys and chairs so we didn't have to bring them on our 13 hr drive to Myrtle Beach.

We were very happy with our experience at this house. The house was very clean and equipped with everything that we needed. The house was even nicer in person than depicted in the pictures. The location was great. Russel was always quick to answer any of our questions. We would definitely stay at this house again and would highly reconnend it.

Great week at the beach. Very close to beach access. Small walk to Waterpark. Kids loved every minute. You must bring your own beach chairs from the house, reserved chairs are no longer available through the property, but you can rent from lifeguard. Kitchen fully stocked.

The owner was awesome to deal with. He communicated throughout the months leading up to our stay and answered all of our questions immediately. The house was extremely clean and the beds were great (having good beds is a big deal to us and these were the best that we’ve slept on in the 35+ years I’ve been coming to Ocean Lakes). The property is only a stone throw from the beach and the provided beach chairs (Tommy Bahamas) were a nice touch. We would recommend the property AND the owner to anyone interested in staying at Ocean Lakes. Again, we’ve been coming since 1985 and this owner is the best!

Fantastic Week At The Beach
We have stayed in several houses in Ocean Lakes over the years and this was one of the best! The house was really clean, nicely decorated and quite the touch of beach atmosphere inside! Everything you need is in the house and Russ has it all organized so that it's easily found, including beach chairs and umbrellas. Most of all, you can see the beach from the deck and it's only steps away. Defiantely looking forward to a return trip! Thank you Russ and Barb!

Very nice house and location
We’ve stayed in Oceanlakes several years and I would stay in the house again the only draw back not dog friendly so if we brought our big baby we would have to stay in another house. This house is stocked very well even having nice beach chairs included and within a short couple of steps to the beach

Fun, relaxing vacation!
The house was so close to the beach! It was great! It had enough space for us and more! The beach chairs and the sand toys provided were a nice touch. We would definitely do it again!

Great House! Great Host! Can’t wait to go back!
This was the best experience. Easy to book. Very easy to get in touch with Russ. (Who was great!) The house was better than described! Beds were so comfy! Very clean. Very roomy. 10 people and we all had enough room! Had tons of little extras that made it feel like home. The washer and dryer made packing up so easy! We all come home with clean clothes- all we had to do was hang them back up! The beach is literally 77 steps away! A golf cart is a must and was so fun!! Ocean lakes property makes this place the best! All the houses were decorated for Halloween - which was super fun for the kids and the adults! We had the best time! Thanks Russ for a great vacation destination! We will definitely be booking this house again!

My stay at Ocean Lakes Family Campground was AWESOME! My family enjoyed it so much that we are planning another vacation there and letting everyone we know that VRBO made the booking VERY EASY! It is worth the stay!

Wonderful Stay
This house was everything that we could have hoped for! It was fully stocked with personal touches to accomodate beach goers. It was decorated nicely and very clean. The bedroom mattresses, even the bunk bed mattresses, were clean and comfortable, which is hard to find when renting. The location was convenient to the beach and close to the other amentities that the resort has to offer. Russ, the owner, was extremely friendly and phenomenal in communicating everything that we needed to know about the house, linen service, cleaning service, and the resort itself. We would definetly like to stay in this beach home again.

Great family week at the beach
We had a fantastic week at the beach! The owner was very helpful providing information and suggestions via email as our dates approached. The fact that the house is stocked with staples is a big plus. The rental umbrella and chairs on the beach were a great way for our family to have a designated spot and the life guard was very helpful. We’d love to rent here again!

Loved the house plenty big enough for all 9 of us. Loved the access to the indoor and outdoor pool along with the waterslides. The kids really enjoyed the basketball courts. Great location to everything and easy access to the beach.

Nice relaxing getaway.
This property was well stocked with everything we needed and then some. It also fit the 6 of us nicely and didn’t feel crowded. The ocean view from the deck was an awesome bonus. Russel also had great communication and responded VERY quickly to any questions or concerns we had. We all agreed we would stay again in the future. Thanks for making our short trip enjoyable

The Hamiltons Family Vacation
I must say this was by far the best experience ever. To actually go to a place and have everything there. The only con was we were told the Waterpark was close and come to find out it opened at 10am. This will not be my family last time here. We are looking to come back in June

Amazing property and absolute cleanliness
We enjoyed our stay in this property, Russ is amazing host. He was always responsive to our queries and ensured we enjoy our stay. The house is really really clean and stocked with all requirements that a family would need as mentioned.
