This house was perfect for our stay!! It is just one block away from the free bus that takes you right up to the ski mountain, which made getting to/from the slopes super easy. It is also just a few blocks off main street which was perfect for enjoying the town and going out at night. The house itself was cute and clean. Great living area for everyone to hang out and be together. We would definitely book this place again!

Property was great and as advertised. Only issues encountered were the hot tub didn't fully get warm until the last day and the lack of AC made the inside temps, especially upstairs, very hot at night to sleep. Need to provide more box fans.

Great location in downtown. Well equipped. Owner has done a nice job with indoor and outdoor amenities. This a duplex, and we occupied one side. We slept five comfortably. Efficient use of space. We liked it and would rent again. Owner very responsive to any needs which is a real plus.

We felt at home! 5 adult family members enjoyed the way the house was built and decorated. Then we all appreciated how the warm and cozy den was set up for lingering around the table after dinner or the fire place for mornings coffee. The hot tub was put to use every afternoon. The location in a quiet neighborhood is close enough to all the action downtown. In a word, perfect!

Great CB cabin!
Highlights: Ten-minute walk to downtown and one block from free shuttle. Comfy beds, fully equipped kitchen, and we loved hanging out in the beautiful (and comfortable) living area. Hot tub was a great bonus!
FYI: Bring your own soap and shampoo. No air conditioning, but it only got too warm in the top loft and no one was sleeping up there, so it didn’t matter.

Lovely place to stay in CB!
We had such a great time at this property, the hot tub was such a wonderful perk as well. There is a little loft up a ladder that my kiddos loved to play in, and we enjoyed sitting in the sun outside as well. Everything was very clean, kitchen was stocked with whatever you may need for cooking, including spices and such. 10 minute walk to town which was also nice! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and Nicole was a wonderful host! We will be back!

Perfect getaway for our family of four
Our family of four throughly enjoyed our time at the cottage! The property had everything we needed for our week stay, from the cooking utensils to the Roku TVs to the hot tub of course! The location was perfect for accessing Rainbow Park and the trails behind it in addition to downtown along Elk Ave, whether on foot or bikes! We highly recommend the cottage for a getaway weekend or week plus stay! I also have to give a shout out to Nikki the house manager who was quick to respond to our needs and super helpful with our questions!

Great ski shuttle location. Last stop before the mountain and first drop-off. Host was amazing and very responsive. Really could not have asked for a better experience. Nice cozy place with ease of ability to walk to downtown. Will definitely look to go back.

Perfect location
We came to CB with our 4 kids (ages 2-9) and we loved this home. It was easy to ride the bus up the mountain to ski or walk to elk for dinner and shopping. Communication was easy and the hot tub was everyone’s favorite perk. Would recommend to another family!

Great Weekend
This property was well kept and fit our group perfectly. The location was excellent for leveraging the bus system and allowed us to enjoy some of the mountain views. The place was spotless when we arrived, and of all the VRBOs we've stayed at, house was the most well stocked. The hot tub was a pleasant surprise. When we come back to CB, I sincerely hope this property is available.

This perfect little cottage in CB is conveniently located to everything you want. Easy access to biking/hiking trails - short easy walk to Elk St restaurants/shops. Magnificent view of the Butte from the hottub was an unexpected bonus! Cottage is gorgeous, perfectly supplied, and spacious. Very grateful to the owner for allowing us to enjoy this spectacular place. Also, would definitely stay here for skiing too - easy bus shuttle to the slopes, and can walk to town after apres ski in the tub :).

Smith family vacation
We came to Crested Butte for a work trip and then spent extra time for a vacation. The property was very nice, clean and up to date.
Only misleading detail was that this a duplex. I thought it was much bigger. But it really fit our family of 4 well.
Being close to the center of town was really nice too. We walked lots of places and borrowed bikes from where our friends were staying. That would be my only suggestion would be to have bikes for use. Minor issue there.
The kitchen is small but worked well, the grill was clutch! Used it several times. The hot tub was very nice as well. All in all we had a great time! The residents are so very welcoming and friendly.
Would absolutely rent here again.

Great place to stay in CB!
We had a great stay at Nicole’s Cottage over Spring Break! This is a duplex-Chestnut Cottage on the other side-but we never heard our neighbors. The Cottage is cozy but was just the right size. Great for 2 couple and kids willing to bunk together. The full size stackable washer/dryer was much appreciated after a day of skiing. The huge highlight was that it was one block from the mountain shuttle that takes you to the ski base. The stop for the cottage was the last stop before reaching the base and the first stop on the way back-super convenient! We left our skis on the mountain and had a quick walk to the shuttle/to the cottage. The private hot tub was the perfect way to end the day and has an incredible view of Mt. Crested Butte! If you’re wanting to grab dinner in town, it’s a nice 10 minute stroll to Elk Blvd. But, If you prefer to cook at home, the kitchen was well appointed and had a few left over spices. Lots of TV options and games available as well. Sheets were nice and beds were comfortable, pillows were a bit flat but we just doubled up. Great place if you plan on visiting CB!

The listing for this property was very accurate. The home is well appointed across the board. It's on a quiet street but very close to restaurants and shops. Nicole, the owner, is terrific. She is very accessible and quick to respond if needed.

Expensive and not that Clean
We arrived to find the refrigerator not working with a cooler full of perishables. The owner was very quick in responding and talked me through flipping a breaker switch that was left in the off position by the dishwasher repair people. She then informed me that the dishwasher was not working (no proactive note on that so I
would have had to figure that out if I had not contacted her about refrigerator). The whole cottage is small but nicely furnished. We did not find it very clean. Their were a couple of nuts and cereal pieces on the kitchen floor under counter area. Their were also crumbs on the area rug and the dining table was not clean. It definitely left an impression (and concern) for us of how clean the bedrooms, bathrooms and sheets really were. We could not lock the front door - the deadbolt would not engage and that's the only. way to lock the door. To be fair I did not complain about this or the lack of cleanliness while staying there. I didn't want the hassle. Good location, okay accomodation that is very expensive for what you get.

Nicole's Cottage was perfect for our stay! The cottage is modern and decorated really well, the kitchen was fully stocked with anything we needed, the beds were REALLY comfortable, bathrooms were great and the location was amazing...easy walking distance to Elk Avenue and literally just a block from the Ski bus pick up.
The only reason for giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the main living area was a lot smaller than what it looks in the photos. Also, showers had to be QUICK or the hot water begins to run out after 10 minutes. Lastly, the cottage is not a stand alone building...it is connected to another unit...and I felt the photos of the outside were a little misleading.
But overall great, still highly recommended and the check in and out was so easy!

This house is in a wonderful location. It is a very comfortable place to be. The house is very nice. I cooked several times and didn’t find the kitchen to be as well stocked as some other places we have stayed. In the end with fees, cleaning and taxes, we paid 520 a night so would have expected the kitchen to have everything. In spite of that we loved our trip and the place.

Crested Butte in itself in an amazing place. We decided to stay there while we were kayaking the Blue Mesa Res. It was a short drive not too bad at all and we got to stay in the cutest town! I could not have been more pleased with Nicole's cottage. There was plenty of room, very clean, nice amenities (we used all of them!) and great views! We will absolutely be back.
