The home is well appointed and in a great location. We were on a golf vacation, so the location on the course with Pinnacle Peak in the background was the icing on the cake. The hot tub and wading pool were a welcome respite after a day on the course. The home and back yard were so nice we opted for dinner at home several nights. The primary bed was perfect for a good night’s sleep to be ready go for the next day.

The property is wonderful. A great home, very clean, comfortable furniture, beds, and well appointed. The view from the patio is breathtaking. The property manager/owner is very nice and gets back to you very quickly. Overall I would highly recommend this property.

The five stars aren't enough for the responsiveness of the property owner. He was wonderful. We loved the house and our adult children/spouses enjoyed it as much as we did. The spa and pool were just the right size for us. The view of the golf course was lovely and we loved walking to the hiking trails from the house. We had a wonderful time.

This is a great house on the Troon North golf course with an ideal southern exposure. The house and backyard have a wonderful view of Pinnacle Peak as well as sun all day, plus a covered patio area. The logistics are all set up very well with the owner with excellent communication. The house was clean and very easy to live in. It is a property that I look forward to returning to.

This house fit our group needs - near a friend's house, spacious for four golfers, and a hot tub to relax after a round. Communication with owner is easy and fast. Great trip, great house.

I would highly recommend this property. The photos don't do it justice. The views to pinnacle peak are outstanding. We enjoyed each day sitting in the backyard with with the sun streaming in, its very private as we never saw the neighbors on either side. The hot tub is as nice as I have ever seen, very large and deep. Its a beautiful and quiet neighborhood, great for walking. Stores and restaurants are a moderate distance, about 6 to 8 minutes by car. Cable TV is excellent, not basic cable, many channels are available. The pool table is top notch, it is in excellent condition. Probably the best feature of this property is working with Ted. He was always available, cheerful, kind and helpful.

Everything was great! The owner checked in with us during our stay to make sure that everything was going well. What more can you ask for?! Thank you for a lovely week!

I've rented a lot from VRBO and Ted provided one of the most positive experiences yet. He is spot-on with information and took time to check-in but not too much :). House is fantastic off of Troon Monument #4. All the amenities you need, comfortable beds, huge couch to congregate the group, nice billiard table, great kitchen and wonderful patio. Location is excellent and quiet....highly recommend!

Ted and Lana are great owners. House is nice and had everything we needed. The yard is really pretty, and we spent most daytimes under the portal.

We spent two enjoyable weeks at this house, and found it to be a great place for adults and older teens! Internally, the house has a great lay-out with beautiful furnishings and was impeccably clean when we arrived. The description of no ice maker is true, so we just bought ice. The kitchen has the bare basics for cooking, and could use a bit more in the way of oven pans and various cooking/BBQ utensils. But, there was plenty of serving/glasses/plates, etc. The back patio is a fantastic place to sit. We enjoyed the BBQ, propane fireplace, sun, covered porch, waterfall and large hot tub. It is quiet, feels very private and has great views. One note, the hot tub can double as a small soaking pool when not heated, but it's really just for getting wet, not swimming. The separate water "pool" behind it is just wide enough to step in and get wet, but also not for swimming. It does work well with the waterfall for ambiance. We weren't that interested in swimming, so it all worked really well for us. The location was great. The neighborhood is very nice, feels safe and is well-kept. My husband walked to nearby hiking trails daily and reported that they were well-maintained and close by. There are also a number of restaurants, grocery stores, etc. within reasonable driving distance. Finally, we found the owner to be very responsive, flexible and easy to work with. Overall, would highly recommend this property.

The house is better than the pictures. If you are a golfer the location is perfect. Enjoyed the hot tub every night under the stars.

We thoroughly enjoyed Ted's home, especially his patio area with pool/spa, outdoor fireplace, and grill. This is where we spent a majority of time. Inside, the house was very clean and beautiful with a magnificent open floor plan and views of the mountains. Ted was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed including topping off the propane for the grill and spa. It was particularly helpful to be able to park in the garage during our stay. The neighborhood was especially peaceful and quiet with beautiful mountain views, cactus, and sunsets. We would love to plan another visit soon.

Beautiful views of Pinnacle Peak, backyard was great, Pool is tiny and only goes to your knees, however. Spa is wonderful. Has all the backyard furniture you’ll need. House is immaculate with anything you’d need. Super clean. There is a sun roof in the master bathroom/bedroom that shines directly on the bed, so great if you’re an early riser. Just FYI because it might surprise you on your first morning. The master shower faucet handle was inoperable. Owner sent out a plumber to get it repaired and was not able to do so. It was a bummer to not use the beautiful shower. Overall, it was a great house in a great location.

Home is exactly as described. Resort-like back yard. Beautiful N Scottsdale location. We would love to come back.

We enjoyed waking up to our coffee on the patio enjoying the sunrise, Mountain View’s and the golf course. Evenings were just as enjoyable

We had a great stay at Ted’s house on troon north ! The house was clean and exactly as described. He was right on top of fixing and checking with us about any questions we had. Highly recommend property and will definitely stay here again!

My husband and I spent a month getting out of winter at Ted's gorgeous Scottsdale home. The Troon North community is our favorite because it's not too close to the noise and traffic in downtown Scottsdale, yet absolutely everything you could want is just minutes away. The home is on the Monument golf course, truly the best of some amazing courses in the area. When we weren't golfing, hiking, meeting some very cool neighbors for lunch, playing tennis or dining at one of a plethora of great restaurants in the area, we were enjoying the gorgeous spa in the yard and using the gourmet worthy grill to cook up some tasty dinners under the stars. Very romantic! The house is clean and beautiful, there's a pool table (tons of fun!), plenty of privacy should you vacation with other couples, and Ted couldn't have been a more gracious host. If we could give it more than five stars, we would! One more thing- we loved the community, people and neighborhood so much we bought a home in Troon North while we were there!

This home is beautiful and exactly as the owner describes. We stayed here for a week with 3 kids aged 15 to 10 years. They loved the space, private outdoor area and the splash pool/hot tub. Ted the owner was very responsive to any questions and sorted out an issue with an oven that was not working when we arrived. The location is fantastic to hike pinnacle peak and feel a little removed from life but close enough to enjoy what Scottsdale has to offer. We would certainly recommend this property.

We spent Christmas week at this property and found it to be extremely clean and well maintained. The neighborhood is beautiful for walking and the scenery is as good as it gets. We highly recommend a stay here, especially if you're a golfer.
