If you’re looking for a relaxing vacation, this is the place for you. Plenty of good restaurants and the best part is you are less than a two minute walk to the beach. Your host, Doc, is a pleasure to work with and accommodating.

Everything exactly as advertised, on the quiet end of Mad Beach and close to everything. Had no issues working during the days and knowing my wife had a very safe beautiful area to relax while I was away. The owner Doc stopped by to check on us and was very nice. I will book again.

We had a great time. The penthouse was very convenient to the beach, restaurants and other things. If we had any questions Doc was very helpful. We would stay at this place again! Great view of the sunset from our deck!

We will go back over and over. There are so many restaurants and places to visit around this particular location. It is a few steps away from the beach and this place is so cozy. The owner communicated above and beyond and assisted with an issue immediately. Great time away!

This place has everything you need to go to the most beautiful beach on the Clearwater/St Pete's strip. Quiet, peaceful setting right on the beach. Owner friendly and reachable. Publix grocery near by. Free WiFi, chairs, umbrella, grill. (don't forget change for the laundry ; ))

Loved this place!! The location was perfect ( right on the beach) our room #6 was very clean and spacious, the neighbors were very friendly and Doc the owner was amazing. He was always very helpful when we needed something or had a question. Everything we needed was provided, so don't pack anything needed for the beach, Doc has you covered.
We are already planning our next trip for 2023!

Beach Vacation
Doc was great. Everything was neat and clean. Nothing fancy but perfect for lounging at the beach. When he says private it definitely was maybe 8-10 people total on the beach area,but your still close enough to restaurants and shopping. Most of these are within walking distance. Will definitely consider come visit again

just want to say that it is time for vrbo to have a supervisor to check the properties that they advertises on its internet account, the place that I rented was horrible, totally unpleasant, with furniture that apart from being old looked dirty, a sofa bed that the mattress was pure springs, the place is so small that I felt trapped, the disgusting beach chairs and the grill was all filthy, on top of that 2 large cockroaches that came out from somewhere, the only good thing is that the beach is just a few steps away, but Even so, I do not recommend it, I rented for 3 days, and was not cheap , I only stayed 8 hours and went to look for another place (I had to stay because there was nowhere to rent at that time) I am not a person that like to make problems, I just sent a message to the owner that I have already left , that I did not like anything without giving details ( because I did not want to speak that angry ) and I have not received any response , not even as a courtesy to tell me , I am sorry , I can return some of your money , nothing at all , the curious thing is that of all the comments only one wrote what happened to me, the rest speak wonders of the place (perhaps they are paid) and I think that vrbo should also be responsible for these scams that are happening to many people, since these advertisements they accept on their platform without any revision

Description is very misleading.
We were assigned Condo #6 (which is really a kitchenette), which is on the 2nd floor. Advertised no stairs and no elevators. No lights for stairs at night. Room was filthy, shower head covering hangs from the wall, vents and ceiling fans are dirty. Owner sits outside in his car and watches. If someone does what he doesn't think they should, he texts or calls them, says. The beach chairs are old and dirty, and grill is disgusting. Nothing like pictures. No directions about check in or check out, just times. I was not comfortable safety wise. I could go on but you get the idea. I will not use VRBO or Sunglow again.

Pros- excellent location. You can see the ocean/beach from the balcony & one living room window. You can walk to the beach which is maybe 100 steps out the door. Very nice beach loungers and umbrellas provided. Condo was a comfortable size for 3 people. The owner is always around and available by phone/text if you need anything. Super responsive & nice. The wine he left was very nice.
Cons- we had a very late arrival due to weather flight changes & notified the owner. When we got to the condo, there was no bedding or pillows for the pull out sofa and only enough towels for 2 people & we had 3. We had to contact the host & have him bring these things (after midnight … which is definitely a plus as far as responsiveness goes!! But should have been provided initially so we didn’t have to wait on him to come to get to sleep.) The floors were very dirty when we arrived to where our feet were visibly dirty after walking on them so we opted to always wear shoes inside. Limited kitchen utensils, no hot pads or towels in kitchen. Dirty pan left in oven. Mattress needs to be replaced- sunken in place where people have slept over the life of the mattress.

Nice getaway
The location for area was good close to shops and some food places. Theres not many restaurants . Great for steps to beach and trolley system. We didnt have a car so that helped. Check in was a little confusing with communication and overbooking issues, but did accommodate us with room shifting a few times. But they were very friendly and nice, would stay there again.

Doc”s place was absolutely incredible! The location was perfect and the condo was exactly as described and what we wanted. Doc was very accommodating and we felt at complete ease for the entire trip. I will definitely be coming back and recommending Sunglow Seaside to all of my friends and family! Thanks Doc!

Amazing vacation
This place is amazing!!!! We stayed in the penthouse, and I could see open from the room and balcony!!! It is steps from the ocean. Several restaurants and stores in walking distance.
Doc is very attentive; we had great communication before our arrival, and he was checking on us during our stay.
The place was clean, with plenty of spare towels. The kitchen is equipped with a coffee maker, dishes, utensils, pans and pots (no dishwasher). Laundry room (coin operated) was very nice to have.
Plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas free to use!
WiFi was spotty at times, but I was able to work a couple of days.
I had my reservations as we are still in the midst of pandemic, but it all worked out very well in the end and we had great time.
I would stay longer if I could. Will definitely keep this place in mind for future and recommend to friends!!!

Wonderful surprise!
Upon arrival we had some confusion as we had switched dates but it was quickly corrected. We found Doc to be an excellent host a willing to go the extra mile to please. The motel itself is a perfect example of the too soon disappearance of old florida. We stayed in the “penthouse” which had a superb beach and sunset view. The best part of our stay was the beach. As there is no parking, except for guest, the beach never had more than 6 or 8 people.....a great plus in these times of corona virus. We will definitely stay there again hopefully long term.

Relaxing, Amazing, stress free and on beach
The place was so nice. My six year old daughter and I stayed for three nights. Exactly what I was looking for. Extremely clean, great space with open feel. Had everything we needed! Amazing owners/staff, and right on the beach. The owner and staff are so friendly, and accommodating. They make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your time. Just amazing to walk out the door and be on the beach in a second. I don’t like the big business condo feel. This was smaller, quaint and soooo relaxing. I haven’t been this stress free ever. My daughter didn’t want to leave!!! Thank you Doc for such a amazing time and for allowing us to create beautiful memories forever on. She felt like a queen on top balcony! If I recall it was listed as a Oceanview. However you cannot see the ocean from your front door
It was very clean, the apartment was nice. We are used to staying on the beach with an ocean view. And that was not what this was

Enjoyed our stay!
We had a great stay at this quaint condo just steps away from the beach. Stayed in the penthouse and it was clean and equipped with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay! We would love to come back! Thanks Doc!

A Hidden gem!
We came across this "hidden gem" while looking for something near the Gulf of Mexico that didn't cost you an arm and a leg. All of the reviews were 5 stars so we decided to check it out. The place was super clean, well stocked and Doc was a fantastic host. Make no mistake, we will be back! (But for a much longer stay next time)

Doc has been a great communicator and does all he can to help integrate you to the area.
Doc and his team are great communicators and really try to educate you on the area and do’s/don’t do. The beach is beautiful and they offer other support and guidance for your stay, you will be fully supported.

Great beach front view without any hassle
The penthouse unit (2nd floor unit with one bedroom) offered very a convenient location. A short walk on to the beach and sunset views and the beach can be seen from the balcony. Our family of 5 fit very nicely into the unit and we enjoyed a great spring break week at Doc's property. If you are looking for an economical, clean and well located property for up to 5 (with your own cot for the 5th person), this is a great offering.
We were able to purchase groceries from the grocery store only a 5 minute walk away and enjoy family meals at the property before enjoying sunsets on the beach. A small and nicely equipped kitchen served the purpose and allowed lots of conversations with the family as we milled around and relaxed.
Most small families will be very happy with their time here.

Rocky start
The property is older, but kept really clean. I had a rocky start and didn't get the unit promised, but it was taken care of to my satisfaction. Cleanliness, close to the beach, friendly people and all around fun stay. The only thing I would suggest is, I am a person who irons everything. I would suggest irons and ironing boards, for those of us who are. Even if they were kept in where the washer and dryer are. I am going back.

Great Location
Sun Glow is in a perfect location. Beautiful beach, quiet but short driving distance to more action.
Doc the owner was very nice, he even left us a bottle of champagne for our anniversary!
My only negative is I wish the couch was more comfortable and interior needs updating but it was clean!
