This was a great place to stay for a fishing trip. Clean and quiet. Most comfortable bed I’ve slept in for a while! Only downside was the very tight turn around for a truck and boat trailer. Neighbors not neighborly when it came to their driveway for turning around. But there was a location close to get it done. Overall I would definitely recommend. Great for vacation or weekend getaway on the water.

We had a great time and felt the location was private. We were appreciative that it was affordable and 2 dogs were allowed! Good spot to fish and paddle board. Dogs had a blast too.

Loved the property. Cozy and comfy inside, great view and relaxation outside. Caught quite a few fish right off the dock. Will definitely keep in mind next time im in the area.

The purpose of the stay was due to repairs at home. It served the purpose well. Being cold weather, we did not get to enjoy the water but the view was nice.The first night there was a problem with the heat but it was quickly repaired the next day. The property manager kept us well informed during the repairs.

Very good communication between the owner and us prior to our stay about an issue of the roads, he accommodated us and was very informative. House was clean and comfortable. Our dogs loved playing in the lake and the view was beautiful to wake up to. Would definitely recommend staying here if you want access to the water and a relaxing setting.

Six of us plus two large dogs had a great stay. House had everything you would need to cook a family dinner and relax. 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms- it was perfect!

Although one bathroom is a bit dated, everything else is fine (not fancy). The weather didn’t cooperate for us to enjoy the outdoors much but for anyone wanting a quiet, water frontage property w kayaks and a dock…this is perfect.

Kinda expected it to be a little shabby (towel bar falling off wall, rub rails falling off dock, etc), but was really surprised at how dirty the place was. Sand on the floors and furniture. Two of the made beds were dirty and had sand on the sheets. Pulled a pizza cutter from the drawer that was covered in grease and cheese. Found multiple dirty dishes put away in the cabinet. Found a half eaten granola bar on the floor in one bedroom and a tobacco spit jar under the bed in the other. We got in a little late and spent our first night cleaning just to get the place minimally acceptable for family we had coming the next day. Not how anyone wants to spend a vacation. Another point of real concern was just the rooms designated bedrooms. Two of the three didnt have code compliant egress windows. One was a laundry room with a bed in it. No smoke detectors in any bedrooms, just one in the hall which appeared to be non functional. I like the location, but couldnt recommend tbe house to anyone.

This little cottage by the lake was just what we needed. The location was awesome and we were able to unload and load our boat at the property. It also had a great place for my grandchildren to swim and play. We also had some family to come and visit one of the nights and they also loved it. My uncle is battling cancer and really doesn't have a lot of strength in his legs right now, but the lot was so perfect that he could walk down to the waters edge and we put a fishing pole in his hands and let him sit there and fish. He has not quit talking about it. All in All we were very satisfied with the house and where it was located. I hope that we can find the time to come back next year.

Location was the best- stunning views. Water toys got good use. Dogs were happy. Very private property.

My family and I celebrated our Dad’s 60th birthday at the cottage and it was perfect for the 4 of us. We brought our fishing boat and the boat ramp is so nice and perfectly located. If you’re wanting to get away and have a cove to yourself this is the place for you! We had such a wonderful time and we will be back soon!

We had a wonderful family weekend at Lake Norman. One person in our group needed a house with easy access and no steps/stairs between the driveway and the house. This home fit our accessibility needs perfectly, and the location was beautiful.

This was our 3rd year booking and while the property needs some maintenance, the view is beautiful and the cove is quiet. We will book again next year

This property is in the perfect location with great access to the lake. The house, however, does need some work is in disrepair a little small for more than two people but very cozy. Owner was very nice and easy to contact great for people with a boat or JetSki’s it rained our whole time so we did not get much more time.

Our second stay here did not disappoint. Cozy Cottage has it all. Perfect for families with pets in every way.

Property wasn't as nice as advertised, just so so lake house wasn't as clean as it should have been, owner was easy to communicate with, some what disappointed.

The view off the deck was perfect. Property was quiet but had lots of visitors - deer, rabbit, muskrat, hawk, bald eagle, blue heron and many other birds. Would love to go back.

Very beautiful place and on the lake, the property was clean, and excellent for pets.

Stellar views of the lake, fire pit close to the water, house was nice and we loved how secluded it was.

Cozy cottage is a fitting description. We felt comfortable, safe and enjoyed the peaceful environment at the lake during our relocation to NC. The cottage felt like home away from home and provides a relaxing atmosphere. We are already talking about coming back in the summer for a real R&R vacation. Host was easy to reach for questions and wonderful to work with. Cottage was clean and although on the smaller side, the layout and space is very efficiently layed out and provides a sense of comfort. Would definitely recommend to other guests.

What a great find! Right on the lake. Private. Beautiful sunrise. Access to kayaks on property. Boat ramp too !! Plenty and easy parking The view from the porch is amazing. Beds super comfy. Kitchen with everything you could need. Clean. For reference, about 10 min drive to Lake Norman Yacht club. About 15-20 to closest Publix. Would definitely stay here again !! Thank you !!

We enjoyed our stay. Great Lake access with beach for the kids and dog, dock and boat ramp in yard. We enjoyed the fire pit by the beach. Would stay here again when visiting family and friends in Lake Norman area.

This property is more than it's description. It was the perfect place for my husband and I, our boat, and 2 dogs. Very quiet and secluded. Everything was perfect from the fully stocked house, sandy beachfront, dock, private boat ramp on site, kayaks, fire pit and deck with beautiful views. When visiting Lake Norman, this is the only place we will stay.

The cottage is super private with deer running through every day, a great dock to soak up the sun, private boat launch, & warm, clean water. If you're needing something specific for meal prep, bring it with you but the cottage was clean with all the basics you need for a great family vacation.

Property location on Lake Norman was excellent. The cove was quite and close to a nearby public boat launch for our boat. Close to shopping for groceries or if you wanted to eat out.

This was our second time staying at the Cozy Cottage and it keeps getting better. We had a fantastic time and appreciate the continued effort to keep everything clean and comfortable for a great family vacation. We will definitely be visiting again!

We had a wonderful relaxing time at the Lake Norman property. The televisions were difficult to manage, and the property manager said that there were new cleaning people who moved the remotes that went to the televisions. One tv was locked on Fox News and there was no changing it. My husband is disabled, so this was important to him. The house was comfortable but not as clean as I would have liked it. Otherwise, the view was wonderful-it was right on the point and it was great to see the boats and water skiiers going by. The area is close to grocery stores and a great farmers market in Mooresville. The owner was gracious, and it was a pleasure to meet him, as he was staying close by. We definitely would go back.
