Great house and location. Our host was very responsive and answered all our questions.

I live in ~ 1 hour from Bald Head Island but man did it feel like a world away. The house was great. It was clean, tidy, welcoming, laid back, great location, well stocked (books, coloring books, games, linens, etc...). My wife and I cannot find enough positive things to say about the house and BHI. The host was always very gracious and easily accessible. Thank you again for just a wonderful time!

What a fantastic house and great base to explore the island -- the house is well-kept, stylish, and very comfortable. Erinn is a great host...we have a young child, and Erinn proactively asked us about setting up bedding, leaving out toys, and generally making the house kid-friendly. If you've never been to BHI, you need to go! It's very secluded and natural, and a great respite from the real world.

This property was perfect for our group. We love the location in the woods. We could easily bike to East Beach. The house was well-equipped for cooking family meals. We spent a lot of time on the screened porch in the evenings. Erinn was quick and accommodating with communication. We hope to stay here again.

This house was perfect for our family vacation (2 adults, 4 teens) to BHI. The house is even nicer than the pictures. The layout is great, there is a ton of outdoor space and privacy, and the bunk room for the kids was fantastic. Erinn was a great host, answered all of our questions, and left the house with everything we needed for an easy vacation. The location is great! A short walk or golf cart ride to East beach or the Shoals club.

We LOVED our week at Bald Head in this home! It was perfectly suited for our family of 5 (3 teenagers). The location is fantastic--getting to either east or south beach is an easy walk or short bike or cart ride. The large screened porch was a huge highlight for us. We've stayed all over the island over the course of 10 years, and this house was our favorite! We plan to come back.

We loved this home! We stayed on west beach last year and were glad to be so much closer to east beach this year. The home is beautiful and had tons of games for the kids. Would love to come back again!

When I saw the pictures of this property online, I knew it looked like the right place for us! When we got there, it looked just like the pictures! The family room, dinning room, and kitchen are all open concept creating the perfect "great room" for people to gather in. The lot itself is very private with no views of neighbors around. The homeowner, Erinn, was very helpful and accommodating to us as well. The only thing I could say that would be negative about this house is that the shower tiles in the master bathroom are coming off the wall and there seems to be an issue with mold. With 2 other full baths and an outdoor shower, this wasn't really a problem!

Beautiful home. Well stocked inside. Could have used more beach chairs and beach towels but we made it work. Everything was great and we would definitely recommend it! Easy to deal with. Great location. Soooo happy!

Great layout and spacious!

We had the best time staying in this home on BHI.. it is very beautiful, well equipped and nestled on the most beautiful piece of property. We'll stay here every time we head to the island if possible.

This was our first trip to BHI and we had a wonderful time. The house is very well appointed and it was spotless. The kitchen is fantastic and we always had everything we needed to cook multiple times per day. The two golf carts are convenient as is the location of the house on the island. Even though we were in the maritime forest, we could hear the surf crashing, especially at night! We had a minor issue and Erinn, the owner, was responsive and addressed it promptly. It rained a lot while we were there but there were plenty of games, books, and movies/tv channels to keep my three kids entertained. Overall I would highly recommend this home.

This is one of those houses that makes you stop and stare as you walk by! Situated on a corner lot and flanked by Live Oaks it gives you a sense of privacy while allowing in sunshine to take advantage of the deck space and back yard area. Beautifully decorated Interior: soft colors, comfortable furnishings and thoughtful touches . The kitchen has everything you could need to create lovely dinner and an open floor plan which was great for socializing with the family! The floor plan has a downstairs Master with the rest of the bedrooms and baths upstairs. I particularly liked this as it provided me with peace and quiet while allowing my nieces and nephews their own space upstairs! The house comes with a six and a four seater golf cart which was a nice option if the whole family wanted to travel together or if we decided to go our separate ways! However you are so close to the beach you could easily walk. The home is also located near the Shoals which is a club you will need to join with a temporary membership. They have a very nice pool and dining options so this may be a better option than the Bald Head Island Club which is further down the island. That said, we did think the Pelicatessen at The Bald Head Club was the best place to go for a quick bite and to let the kids play on the playground! The Turtle Conservatory is also a quick walk from the house and a must do educational stop for adults and children alike. Be warned fellow Travelers if you visit Bald Head Island in March, as we did for my birthday, that many of the shops and restaurants are not open! Call ahead if there is something in particular you were hoping to visit. Internet is hit-or-miss throughout the island. We will definitely be back! The owner, Errin, was prompt and courteous with answering all of our questions and very easy to work with!

We had a lovely time on Bald Head Island. This house is beautiful and well equipped with everything you could ever need for a weekend away at the beach. It is a spacious house, great for a big group of all ages. Erinn was great to coordinate with and always available for any questions that we had. We would definitely rent this house again!

This is the best home of the four different ones we have rented on BHI in the last four years. Very spacious and well equipped. Close to the Shoals Club and Conservancy. Plenty of separation from Master Bedroom to rest of house to promote privacy. Only suggestion is to add a mobile phone booster to make phone calls in the house possible. We would definitely rent this again! Thanks!

This was a beautiful home to host a girls weekend! Plenty of beds and spacious living room. The lovely screened in porch was perfect for morning coffee and evening cocktails. Very convenient location to walk to beach and conservatory. Erinn, the owner was very thoughtful and made arrangements easy and comfortable. Will definitely book again!

Great house! So comfortable, decorated amazingly. Good location to Cape Fear Station and the Shoals Club. Would highly recommend!
