This unit is the awesome! Nice views of sound/ocean and great breezes on balcony and inside should you decide to open the windows. Comfortable amenities. Complex is quiet, well maintained, and staff are friendly. We hope to return soon :-)

This property was exceptionally clean and had great views of the sound and the ocean. It was easy to access and the listing was exactly like the condominium when we got there.
The owner was very nice and very responsive to my questions.
The beach was a little walk away, but we were allowed to drive our vehicle within the resort to get closer to the beach and that was awesome.
I would book this condominium again, and I would definitely recommend it to others I would give this property a 10 out of 10 rating!

This was our second stay here and we love the condo. It is a great size for our family of 4, it is well stocked with supplies that you need for a week, and it has great access to beach. It is located in an area away from the busier parts of the beach, so it is quiet and less crowded, great for a getaway.

This place was fantastic! The condo was clean and you could tell the property overall is well maintained. Excellent communication with the owner before and after the trip (we forgot some belongings). The area is super laid back and quiet, the beach is not overcrowded at all, neither were either of the pools. I would stay here again!

My family stayed at Mikes condo for 7 days and it was wonderful. The condo was very clean, close to the pool and beach which helped having little ones. I love that they have security as well as quiet time after 10pm. Mike was quick to message back when we had an internet issue, and great to work with. We enjoyed ourselves and will return!

The 180 degree view from the third level was worth the daily trek. It was our first time at Atlantic Beach, so gave a good perspective! Soooo enjoyed the Morehead Seafood festival Sat./Sun., music, and Beaufort boat ride and waterfront. Could use a bigger pan for group meals. the seafood came out great with some team work. close to Ft. Macon end of island, quiet, Amos Mosquitos was casual, but good menu choices. Neighborhood was friendly too. dog walkers and beach combers. space was more than enough room for our party. enjoyed the deck for morn cup of joe too. felt safe for the five day stay, not like a visitor, and would book again for an outing.

this was our 2nd stay at Southwinds and it was better than the first. Clean with all the amenities you need with east and private beach access. Only wish there was an elevator for these knees! Property owner is so kind and responsive. Can’t wait to book again in the coming years!

As a family of 5 with a variety of ages, this condo offered everything we needed. It has beautiful views of the ocean and sound. The condo was very clean and had all the amenities included a full kitchen, washer/dryer, tv in family room and master bedroom, plus 2 full baths. The owner Mike was very quick to respond if we had questions and friendly. Hope to vacation here again!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The condo was perfect for us, a family of 4. The location was great, close to everything but also far enough that the beach wasn't too crowded. Everything in the condo was exactly as advertised and we had no issues at all. The kids enjoyed the children's books on the shelf and picked one out to read each night. Great sunrise views over the sound and also enjoyed spending evenings on the balcony watching the boats coming in and out of Beaufort inlet.

Great AB condo for vacation
First - I love Southwinds for vacation. Two pools means neither is ever very crowded. The walk to the beach is easy and the people are friendly and nice. It's close to Ft Macon (which is a cool place to visit) and access to all the places in AB as well as Morehead or Beaufort is super easy.
Second - I've stayed in both of this owner's condos over the years (E-5 and E-13) and they're well kept, clean, well appointed, and coordinating entry and timing is super easy. Michael (the owner) is great to work with and makes deciding where to stay for an AB vaca an easy choice.
Instructions for using the Internet, the TV and Roku, and for checkout are right there for you when you arrive, and easy to follow. He provides a list of places to eat and things to do. Or you can do a lot of nothing. Whatever suits you.

The condo was nice and clean and just like pictures. We liked that it had everything we needed. It wasn’t too far from grocery stores. A short walk to the beach. The pools were huge! The owner Michael, was nice and prompt at giving us the code to get in and making sure we had safe travels home.

We enjoyed our stay. We found the place clean and the beds were comfortable. The exterior of the building has been remodeled in the past year. The walk to the beach wasn't too far and the beach wasn't too crowded for a holiday weekend.

Great Experience
This was our first family trip to North Carolina. We enjoyed our time at the property. The condo was cozy and we felt right at home. The condo was clean, inviting, and my daughters enjoyed the bunk bed. I only wish we’d stayed a bit longer. We were looking for a quiet getaway and that’s exactly what we experienced. We will definitely return next summer.

The property was beautiful and exactly as advertised. It was a short walk to the beach and close to so many things. My family and I had coffee out on the balcony every morning to watch the sun come up and maybe a glass of wine at night too! :) We can't wait to come back.
