Cozy house, loved the hot tub and the historic rustic feel. Great location near all of the popular downtown attractions in Eureka Springs. Having a TV near the bathtub was a nice touch.

Perfect rental for a couple with two small dogs. Small back patio is completely fenced. The best amenity for me was the hot tub. Nicely furnished. Gas fireplace was nice. The bedroom is upstairs (very narrow stairs) and its hot up there even in the winter but there is a window unit. Had some trouble with the key code (but it had been raining that can affect the lock. Door was difficult to open with key too (old Victorian door out of square). Other than that very nice. Owner very accommodating for early check-in. Good communications

Walkable to everything there is to enjoy in downtown Eureka Springs, but far enough out to enjoy some peace and quiet :) Hot tub, soaking tub, and front porch rockers were a plus too!

Absolutely fantastic little get away spot. From the moment you walk in you feel relaxed and away from the hustle of daily life. This cottage is great. My only complaint would be the lack of cooking utensils, but I was able to make do. We will be back!

My husband and I enjoyed the Shangrila cottage on our 30th anniversary getaway. We loved the list of suggestions to eat-Oscars was great! We honeymooned in Eureka Springs and loved coming back to reminisce and explore. The location of the cottage on Spring St is perfect and near downtown and near the Crescent Hotel. We drove most places but more adventurous people could really walk and do some of the hiking trails. The cottage was so relaxing and nicely air conditioned since we came during a major heat wave with 100 degree temps. We loved sitting on the front porch before walking to dinner at Rogue Manor. So many things to see and do. Our favorites were dining on the train, taking a ghost tour at the Crescent, and taking the tram ride and hearing the history of this amazing town. The tram even drove right by our cottage on historic Spring St. We even found a painting at Iris’s of our street and cottage! A perfect memento of a wonderful trip. What a fantastic property! After a long drive and staying in a less than desirable place on our way this home was exactly what we needed and hoped it would be! We pulled up to see a quaint home on a beautiful street, soothing fountain in the front yard, opened the door to lovely music playing, and a fragrant aroma - like walking in to a spa! The house was spotless and well appointed - nice furniture, linens, towels, robes, etc. We felt ourselves relax the moment we entered the home. The little backyard was so special with such pretty rocks and plants and patio furniture and a hot tub - plus a nice secure fence for our pups. The location couldn't have been better - last house on the block (near the little outdoor library reading area) yet within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. So quiet and peaceful - we loved sitting on the porch and watching the fireflies in the evening. This was our first trip to Eureka Springs but will not be our last - what a magical little place and this house made it all the more special. Thank you for offering your lovely home and for being pet friendly - our pups had many fun adventures too! Host was super responsive and gave us a great list of recommended restaurants and activities. We cannot wait to go back!

My husband and I enjoyed a much needed relaxing getaway in this beautiful home! It is in the perfect location - easy walk to shops and restaurants. We enjoyed sitting and reading on the front porch. This home has such a soothing and relaxing atmosphere. Just what we needed!

It is on the historic loop and an easy walk to all of the shopping and restaurants in Eureka. The cottage was a perfect fit for the ambience and feel of Eureka. It is luxurious but cozy and understated. The cottage was immaculate and we were able to park directly in front of the cabin. The furnishing, decorations, linens and bath were all very high end. We have just reached our seventies and it's hard to find lodging in Eureka without a lot of steps. This cottage is easily accessible from the street. The bedroom is upstairs and the bath is downstairs. The stairs were navigable for our "age and condition," The hosts were gracious and ready to help any way they could. We highly recommend the cottage to travelers looking for private, cozy high end accommodations in Eureka. We were there at XMAS time and that made things even more special.

We came here for our 1 year anniversary and were definitely pleased to say the least at the adorable cottage. It was clean, cozy, and everything was set up for us to use as soon as we walked through the door! We will definitely be coming back!

We were in Eureka Springs for Porsche Palooza and this place was in a great location. Loved the hot tub, the ambiance in both the living room and bedroom. Very Zen!

We loved our experience. The house is so cute. It has everything we need. The backyard was my favorite. It's like a secret garden.

We wanted a stress free location to spend Thanksgiving. This cottage was exactly what we were looking for. Great location, charming, nice full kitchen to accommodate the reheating of our turkey dinner, and we were able to bring along the most important part of the family...our pup. Would recommend!

We had a wonderful time at Eureka Zen Shangrila. The house is comfortable and provides a fun front sitting porch and a fantastic small private courtyard in the back. The Jacuzzi there was great. The steps to the upstairs are steep and narrow so may prove problematic to anyone with knee issues. The house is conveniently located within walking distance to the upper shopping and restaurant area of Eureka Springs. We will definitely plan to visit again sometime.

The house is well kept and roomy enough to be very comfortable. Relaxing vibe in the house. Short walk to dowtontown. Parking is not ideal for large trucks but nowhere is in eureka. Highly recommend.

So quaint & magical. Didn't wanna leave. We will be back!

The house was great! Full of charm, with little touches such as aromatherapy and water fountain really made the ambiance perfect. It was close enough that we walked everywhere we needed- we just parked out front (free parking) and the car stayed there for the weekend. Despite being close to the neighbors (on only one side- the other side is a green space), it was quiet, comfortable and cozy. It was clean, with soft bath towels and bed sheets, and the owner was available to help meet any needs. My only suggestion would be a shelf in the bathroom for toiletries- there wasn't a lot of space for our "stuff." Also, a king sized bed would be a bonus for any romantic getaway. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it.

The house was absolutely adorable! The hosts were very accommodating when our pet sitter fell through at the last minute and we were very grateful! When we arrived there was very relaxing meditative music playing which we enjoyed listening to on and off all weekend. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking dinner when we arrived. It is very private as it backs straight up to the side of the hill. We did test out the hot tub for a few minutes...but it was a bit dirty with bugs and dirt in it, but it was also very hot outside so we weren't too disappointed in not getting to use it. The free street parking right outside was very nice and the bed was super comfortable. We will definitely be checking out their other properties on our next visit as well!

Nice house with nice furnishings (bed was a too soft for Grumpy, as he has a bad back, but the couch worked fine for him) and super kitchen. The private hot tub was also great. Grumpy complained about lack of TV channels as he wanted to watch college football on Sat, but it was a gorgeous 70 degree late Nov day and he wanted to be inside after playing golf early in the morning. Good wifi and great heaters. Easy walk to everything on Spring & Main streets. Good for a single or a couple.
