Beautiful Oceanfront Condo with 4 Bedrooms & 4 Baths
Hermoso condominio frente al mar de 4 dormitorios y 4 baños completos con amplio balcón con vista perfecta del océano. Sofá cama aumenta la capacidad de dormir a 10. Gran mesa de comedor y cocina completa con lavaplatos, triturador de basura, estufa, horno, microondas y refrigerador nuevo. Dormitorio principal y sala de estar abiertos al balcón. Overall, we had a great vacation, however the condo itself left much to be desired. A few problems:
The entire condo felt (for lack of a btter word) icky. The shower had stains, door knobs and handles felt noticibly grimy, there was rust on the door knobs, and black mold on every air vent you looked at. Additionally, there was sand in the sheets of the beds and the majority of the condo had outdated blue carpet. The carpet had visible brown and white stains (who knows?) and you could feel the sand stuck in it if you walked barefoot, we didn’t.
Additionally, the condo was just outdated and kinda dingy. The furniture and appliances were old and just not in great condition. The freezer wouldn’t freeze, the stove, oven, and laundry took a considerable amount of time to finish their job. Cooking was a struggle because of the poor state of literally every pan and piece of silverware (the whisk broke mid stir so bring your own). Cups and plates were dirty so stop by the DG and stock up on paper. And finally, this is a four bedroom unit, but somehow they thought one couch was sufficient for the common areas. Seriously, there was one three seater couch and a single rocking chair. Other than that you had the kitchen chairs. The experience was disappointing and discouraging, but with the help of one of the six vacuums and 8 box fans in the unit, we prevailed. My advice? Just don’t do it, keep looking. The view is great and location is convenient, but the cons outweigh the pros.

Our group of friends absolutely love this condo. It has 4 bedrooms/4 baths which is great for 8 ladies. The beach is wonderful! The pool is perfect. The condo is close enough to restaurants and others sightseeing opportunities. Highly recommend this can ndo.

This has become our favorite place to stay, condo is perfect for our family vacation! Easy access to the beach which is good for my dad and for taking cooler and wagon down! It is awesome having 4 bathrooms, no one has to fight over them.

My family and I enjoyed this oceanfront condo. We arrived to an immaculate, spacious condo. The view from the balcony of the beach and ocean was simply beautiful. Bettie communicated well. She even FedEx infant plates, cups, and utensils for our one year old grandson to use. Bettie, thank you for all you did to make our stay perfect. We will be back for another Beach Vacation!

Condo is in a great location with a beautiful view and plenty of room but needs some TLC. Owner was very easy to work with and extremely responsive, but for the expense incurred we anticipated a higher end stay.
PROS
Great location, plenty of room, end unit was nice, elevators were a plus, nice pool and easy beach access. New mattresses were very comfortable. Owner was quick to respond from booking through our stay.
CONS
Needs a thorough deep clean and some TLC. AC vents haven’t been cleaned, debris was blowing out and one appeared to have mold in it, wallpaper peeling in one bathroom, caulking was missing on several bathroom countertops or pulling away, a number of light bulbs out and mismatched. Dehumidifier required emptying at least 3 times/day or AC was not as efficient. We experienced multiple outlets not working because breaker kept flipping. Owner had electrician come over but wasn’t able to repair while we were there. We cleaned the sliding glass door runner to avoid it squeaking and being hard to open. No beach chairs to use, had to bring our own, only some beach toys for small children. Getting and returning keys a bit cumbersome.
With some repairs and a deep clean this could be a real gem, but was not what we expected for what we paid, having rented similar size beach condos in the past.

Cons:
- Key process is cumbersome - having to figure out where to receive keys by FedEx a few days ahead and then pay to return them was a challenge we haven't had to deal with before in our many vacation rental experiences
- Clutter on most surfaces
- Closet & pantry cabinet full of junk - including dozens of old paint cans
- No space to store food in kitchen
- Kitchen cabinets need good cleanout & resupply of basic stuff while getting rid of random stuff - limited cooking utensils but many unnecessary items!
- Whole place needs deep cleaning & updating; peeling paint & rusty fixtures just make the place look yucky
- Many burnt-out light bulbs
- Box of blinds just sitting on floor in loft bedroom
- Spare linens in wads in closets - not sure if clean or dirty
- Dehumidifier noisy & ran constantly - we emptied it multiple times a day but if we didn't use it the AC couldn't keep up - and we were there when temps only reached 80 outside!
- Host doesn't supply even a starter kit of basics like TP, paper towels - that was a weird concept to us.

The property was as advertised. Great Location, access to beach. The property owner was awesome, she was in contact us when the tropical storm was coming and purchased lanterns that were delivered just in case we lost power. Thank goodness we didn't, but it was great of her to make sure we were taking care of. Would definitely stay here again.

This place was a wonderful place for our family. It was quiet and spacious. There were 7 of us, and we had plenty of room. The table in the dining area is large and gave us plenty of space to eat our meals together and play games together. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook together. The balcony is wonderful and provides a beautiful view of the ocean. Pine Knoll Shores is perhaps one of the prettiest areas along the NC coast.

This was our first time to Atlantic Beach. The condo at Beach Walk was fabulous in many ways. Beautiful view. Four bedrooms/4 baths. Easy access to beach. Nice outdoor pool. Equipped kitchen. The ‘owner’ was super helpful. I would definitely recommend this condo. We are planning/hoping to return next year.

The building was nicely maintained. Not a lot of people around which was nice. The ocean view from the balcony was very peaceful. The condo was very roomy and had all we needed. The location is perfect, not too far from Atlantic beach and Moorhead city but felt like a private beach. We loved the Fiesta Burrito Cantina in Moorhead city and Finz Grill in the little town of Beaufort. There’s so much to see and we will definitely be back. Bettie was a wonderful host.

We had a great experience in 2022 and wanted to book the same property but my niece (who is 7) wanted to bring a friend, another little girl. This would take our guest count to 9, but two of them are little girls!! Sorry, but this is failure in customer service especially because we would be repeat customers. I will take my money elsewhere.

Echoing earlier reviews, the condo is in a great location and the exterior grounds of the condo complex are very well cared for. The ocean views and access are excellent. Having 4 bedrooms and 4 full baths is very nice. However, this unit needs a deep cleaning, decluttering and general updates. It seems as though every space is taken up with either the owner's items or previous guests' items and there are common items (like closet doors, ice maker, fans, hair dryers) that do not work properly. The living room furniture was worn to the point we felt compelled to cover it with sheets for the week. The owner seems nice and was responsive to our concerns (refunding the cleaning fee). However, there is not much that can be done on short notice to change the actual condition of the unit. After reviewing area properties, we recognize this unit is priced lower than others (we did not realize this at the time of booking). And while we can appreciate that, we would have been willing to pay more to stay in a property that better suited our family's expectations. We would return to this property and location if the above mentioned things were addressed.

Great location
Owner was very nice and easy to work with. Space in condo was great,however it could use some tlc with updates and extra cleaning. There was random things shoved in all the closets,there was a box of flooring leaned again the wall in the loft bedroom and alot of clutter in the kitchen. .We loved the location and convenience of its location and 4 bathrooms was amazing!

Patio views were wonderful. Saw dolphins several times one day. Loved having a bathroom for each bedroom. Noise carries to upstairs bedroom more than expected but overall a very relaxing stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The community was quiet. I don’t think I have ever stayed in a condo that was so sound proof. It was A HUGE bonus that every room had its own bathroom. This was something I didn’t know I needed until now. Our focus was relaxation and it was achieved.

Lots of space and fantastic location!
Bettie was very responsive and informative from beginning to end. The condo is large and comfortable with unobstructed views of the beach from the balcony, living room, master bedroom, and loft. The condo is in need of renovations, but considering the price I paid compared to similar rentals, I didn’t have a problem with it. My mother, on the other hand, was not happy with the condition of the apartment, so it depends on your priorities. The one complaint I do have is that the apartment was not thoroughly cleaned, although there is a cleaning fee and a cleaning crew had been there before we arrived. (My mother had daily conniptions over that!). I would recommend, my mother would not.

Wonderful place to stay! Had plenty of cookware, and extras you may need while staying. The location is incredible! Ocean front which is hard to get at Atlantic. The huge balcony was great for our family. We enjoyed the beautiful view. Definitely will stay again!!

Wonderful location with a beautiful view!
Bettie was awesome and so helpful and did her best to answer our questions and accommodate us. This property has a perfect location and an amazing view to wake up to every morning. The kitchen looked newly remodeled and there was so much space. There were some cosmetic issues that if fixed would have made the stay extra special but they ultimately didn’t effect how much fun we had staying here. We would definitely stay again!
