I a beautiful wooded area with lots of visits from the deer every day. Bedroom is in a room off of the rest of the house with great windows and views. Nice kitchen and bathroom. Really enjoyed it - nice hosts.

What an amazing cottage in such a amazing town. Our second year in row visiting Bailey, and we had an amazing time visiting other towns that I had always wanted to go to plus hiking this beautiful area. Having a beautiful place to come back to made it a HUGE plus! The owners are so amazing we took off on a unexpected trip, and were gone longer than expected and checked in on us. So nice. I felt bad not reaching out afterwards too. They were extremely kind and friendly, and always willing to offer and assistance. We will definitely be going back!! Thank you Judith and Richard

Overall very positive. Adorable little house in a beautiful setting. There are some lovely places to visit close by including Guanella Pass and Georgetown.

Very peaceful place to stay and unwind with nature. The hosts have gone above and beyond with the atmosphere they have created. Would absolutely stay again!

My wife and stayed 5 nights at the cabin and rank it it as one of our most relaxing trips we’ve had! The deck is the highlight of the house. We had coffee every morning and wine or drinks every evening. The view and the birds allow for hours of enjoyment. We also ate every meal on the deck, breakfast in the morning and grilled steaks, chicken and burgers for dinner. It was outstanding. I had business in Denver one of the days, and the drive was less than an hour. Staying here and driving in was way better than a hotel in the city and driving out for excursions. Judith and Rick are fabulous host. Check in/out was the easiest I’ve ever had. They met us on the first day and gave us a few ideas of things to do that were very helpful. We saw deer several times and really had the feeling of being out in mountains. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to Colorado.

We reallt enjoyed this location. Not too far from Denver and close to many great parks and local gems. The owners were very helpful and kind. We would reccomend staying here!

My husband and I had the best time at the Tucan Guest Cottage. It is perfect for two people. So quaint, quiet, clean, and comfortable! We used this as our landing spot for a week of adventuring around Colorado. It's about an hour from the airport and only 30 minutes to Red Rocks, where we enjoyed two concerts. The 1.5-hour drive from the cottage up Hwy 67 to Manitou Springs, Garden of the Gods, and Pikes Peak was simply stunning. Another beautiful drive took us from the cottage up Hwy 70 to Breckenridge, Georgetown, and over the Guanella Pass. Unbelievable! There's no WiFi and spotty cell coverage, which in my opinion is perfect for when you really want to escape reality. The King Soopers in Aspen Park was a great place to grab groceries on the way in from the airport, and the laundromat in Bailey is nice and clean and super convenient. Judith and Richard have a true gift for hospitality. Such gracious and welcoming hosts. Thank you!

We had a great time enjoying all Colorado's beautiful places! When we got back we just wanted to sleep after a long day. It was very peaceful here!

The cabin was comfortable & charming, with all of the amenities we needed, and the location was exactly what we had hoped for: fresh air, beautiful scenery and an absolutely lovely deck where we spent a lot of time just relaxing, unwinding and enjoying ourselves amid the beautiful scenery, birds and deer. Judith and Richard were wonderful hosts and we hope to return to Tucan Cabin on our next trip to Colorado.

The owners of this property are fantastic people and really enjoyed visiting with them. Next time I stay there I intend to visit with them more! Wonderful people and gave us excellent advice on places that we wanted to go! They are so cool!

My girlfriend and I came from Louisiana to visit the Rockies and let me tell you, this is the cabin to stay in! The host are very friendly and knowledgeable. The cabin is very clean and cozy. The views from this cabins porch and driveway is as good as any you'll see in the Rockies! It's amazing. Also the wildlife you'll see from this cabin is extensive. Birds, deer, chipmunks, fox, and bears. We were 30 minutes from evergreen and 35 minutes from Red Rocks Amphitheater! I highly recommend this stay!!!!! Thanks Judith

Enjoyed the natural setting and the visits from the deer and birds. Cabin was clean, comfortable and quiet. Certainly would stay here again.

This was the perfect getaway. The perfect location if you are an outdoor person. Plenty of wildlife. The deck of cottage was favorite spot. Also the location provided access to state and local parks.

Property was very clean with a Great View. No issues and we saw wildlife each day from deer, foxes, squirrels, birds, rabbits. We would definitely stay again.

My boyfriend and I had the most wonderful stay at this cottage. Judith and Richard were accommodating and so very helpful in making our stay perfect. We made so many animal friends and found the cottage to supply the perfect getaway. We loved it and hope to stay again in the future.

Most amazing place we have stayed in recent times. The stay was absolutely magical and we saw so many wildlife as well as birds. Cute squirrels and chipmunks. We were completely Taucanized and were already missing stay after reaching home. This is magical mystical and extraordinary African vibe in middle of Colorado. Judith and Richard were amazing host who helped us whenever assistance was needed and gave us some great tips and leads. We miss you both and surely will come back soon. Thank you again so much for hosting us. Would surely recommend this place and not to miss out on this beautiful piece of imagination and creativity.

This charming cabin has so much personality and is in a beautiful wooded location. It was the perfect getaway for my solo writing retreat. Thank you both for being thoughtful and delightful hosts!

4th time here. Love the location and the fact that there are no stairs. A little small for three but cozy. The futon used as the second bed is too lite for a big man but used lots of blankets to help support.

Everything was great, except we were really uncomfortable on the bed. But take that with a grain of salt, everyone has their differences in comfort bed levels.

Our stay at the cottage exceeded all of our expectations. Our hosts, reside just up the hill, greeted us upon arrival and made us feel very welcome. They provided dining recommendations in the area, as well as local attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting with them. The cottage deck with bird feeder provided an endless source of enjoyment watching the antics of the many and varied birds. The cottage was very clean and tidy, with a well-equipped kitchen. We definitely plan to return.

Sitting on the deck watching all the birds close up was so relaxing. And have a tail feather land on the open book that my husband was reading was a special treat!

THE PROPERTY IS IN A PERFECT SPOT TO VIEW VARIOUS STATE PARKS , WONDERFUL VIEWS, WILDLIFE, EASY ACCESS TO GET GROCERIES AND GAS FOR YOUR VEHICLES. THE COTTAGE PATIO HAS A GOOD VIEW TO CATCH SIGHT OF WILDLIFE AND A VARIETY OF BIRDS VISITING THE BIRD FEEDER THROUGH OUT THE DAY.

Really enjoyed the stay in the mountains. House was very clean and the view was amazing. We even had a dear rest under the house one day when we got back from a day trip.
