This house was perfect for us. The owner is top notch!! I sent him a message that the gas grill wasn’t working. The burners and back of the grill were both rusted out. He had a new grill delivered the next day. He is absolutely amazing. I would definitely rent from him again.

The house and location are perfect! The host's communication was wonderful. The pool was beautiful and the kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook meals. You do need to provide towels and paper goods (toilet paper, napkins, etc.) but that might be the norm in OBX rentals. We would definitely come back

This was our second time staying in this home and it didn’t disappoint. The location is perfect, close to the beach and shopping. The owner is great to work with and was quick to resolve a minor issue that we had. Our favorite part of the house is the amazing view from the top deck. You can see both the ocean and the sound. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would book again

The house is very accommodating for a large group but you must bring not only all towels but TP, Soaps of all kinds and a hair dryer if needed. It was a short walk to the beach and we had lovely mornings and evenings in the pool and hot tub!

So clean and close to the beach and shopping. The kitchen was amazing with two dishwashers and all the amenities to cook.
Loved the decks overlooking the pool and the widows watch at the top. A very quiet neighborhood and you could hear the ocean from the decks as well as see the ocean.
We are hoping to coordinate our family schedules so we can return to this house next year.

We have stayed several places up and down the coast at OBX. We loved the vibe of the Corolla area. We love to have family days out shopping, trying new food spots and doing activities like putt-putt. There were plenty of options within walking distance of the Timbuk2 plaza, along with several spots up north. If you are looking to bar hop and party nightly, look south of here. But if you like family entertainment, having a few drinks out a night or two, this place is awesome. The house itself...Jesús was awesome with communications throughout our stay and the house fit all of our needs. The house was clean and everything we used, worked as expected. Location to the beach was a short walk & the house had everything to make the trip as easy as possible. We will definitely be looking at this place for 2023!!!

My family stayed at the house for a week in August and the house is exactly as pictured and described. Super easy walk to the beach, even with young kids. The pool is great with plenty of floats that were already there, as well as lounge chairs. The house has all the amenities one could ask for and ample kitchen supplies. Air conditioning worked great and so did the WiFi. Also an easy walk or bike ride to Food Lion or the shops at TimBuk2. There is nothing I would change about our stay at the home. Would stay there again. Also, owner is incredibly responsive when asked any questions and helpful.

We really enjoyed staying in this home! It was in a very ideal location in Corolla. Walking distance to shopping, food and grocery store. The pool and jacuzzi were also great. The only thing is the walk to the beach was more of a 5 minute walk than a 2 minute, just for those who are trying to get a sense of the distance to the beach. The views from the crows nest were beautiful. You could also see the ocean from the top level inside which was amazing. Another thing to note is you have to bring your own bath towels, including any hand and dish towels. Otherwise the kitchen was well stocked and it was helpful having linens provided. This home I would absolutely stay at again! Thank you Jesus!

We have 5 kids - 10 - 22 and we were able to travel to the OBX for the first time the week prior to Memorial Day. The house was a great fit for us - space to gather and space for everyone to have their own space as well. Bring your own towels but bed linens are provided. Plenty of dishes and glassware at the house as well as utensils. Bring some basics to get you started - trash bags, toilet paper, paper towel, favorite cooking spices. Food Lion is just a minute away; Harris Teeter is a quick 5-7 minute drive. I preferred Harris Teeter but both are fine. Pool and back decks/crow’s nest were a huge hit and the ocean/beach access is just about a 5 minute walk. Plenty to see and do in Corolla - Wild Horse Tours, mini-golf, Currituck lighthouse in historic Corolla park...
Jesus could not have been a better, more gracious and responsive host. Quick to answer any questions. We appreciate him sharing his home with us for our OBX week!

The home was spacious, a functional layout and had a lot of amenities for the price. Location was very convenient to shopping and only a few minutes to the beach. Jesus was very accommodating about check-in/check-out and easy to get ahold of. The decks are very nice and the pool and hot tub were great. Room darkening curtains made for easy nap times and everyone had plenty of space to spread out. We had a great week and would rent the home again.

This was a lovely property for a group of 10 (two families of five) - plenty of room, a well equipped kitchen, and very convenient location to the grocery store, restaurants, and shops. The short walk to the beach is best for older children. Great communication with the owner who was very helpful and friendly. Loved it!

I never really write reviews, but this time I feel compelled to warn others. If you're looking for a little luxury for your vacation, this is not your place. Pulling onto the property and seeing weeds growing in the cracks of the driveway and landscaping that had surely seen better days threw up an immediate red flag. Inside, the place seemed dated but marginally acceptable (there's a reason there are only a few pictures on the listing). But upon closer look proved otherwise. Bath mats were stained and not washable, mold on the shower curtain, spider webs on the light fixtures, living room furniture that was not the same as the pictures on the listing and was stained. The kitchen seemed clean and was ok equipped, although we did find the Keurig coffee maker in the closet with water still in the reservoir - obviously not cleaned. Screen doors off their tracks and hard to open, with one in the master bedroom that had a large hole ripped in it. Dinning room and gaming room with shades missing on some of the windows. Tattered curtains. Get the picture? Just a general level of uncleanliness and disrepair that's unacceptable compared to what we were led to believe.
Also, in the listing there is a picture of a nice felt poker table that was nowhere to be found. Being avid poker players, that constitutes fraud on the owners part. The kicker was when we pulled back the covers on the beds at 11:30 at night and found there were no sheets on ANY of the beds! We had to sleep on the filthy mattress pads.
When I contacted the owner the next morning and mentioned everything above, he stated there were sheets in a bag in the hallway, which was never part of the check- in instructions. He also offered to send over a cleaning crew, but given the fact that he stated he personally supervised the cleaning before our arrival, it seemed like a waste of time. And even though I did not feel the house was safe and sanitary in any way given these times of Covid-19, I did not feel comfortable having strangers come into the house at that point. The other issues I mentioned he never addressed. Overall, I just felt like I rented a place from someone who doesn't care about making it nice for renters, and is only looking to make money off of them.
He did state that members of his family stay there a lot, so beware the fake reviews. We did enjoy the pool.

We greatly enjoyed our first vacation to OBX. Corolla is a great little town, where everything is very close and convenient. The house had ample room and was in good condition, but could use some updating. The pool was extremely nice and receives afternoon shade. There are plenty of tables and chairs around the pool area. The kitchen was well equipped for our needs. The beach is a two block walk away, and provided a lot of entertainment for our family. We would definitely return here and felt very safe and isolated on this trip.

The air filters were filthy. There were dead bugs in the fridge. One of the beds had sand in the sheets. There was no cable. Two of the televisions did not work at all (no netflex). We could not use the pool because it was freezing; heater possibly broken. There was no propane to use the gas grill.

We have rented this house for the last 5 years and love it more every year! There are so many things that we like about it. First and foremost, It is very clean and well kept up with--always something new and improved each year. The house has a sophisticated, but laid back style that we love and makes us feel so at home. The pool and hot tub are great. There is a gorgeous view of the ocean from the deck and a great view of the Corolla lighthouse from the crow's nest. We are able to walk or bike to so many things including the beach, shopping and farmers market. This has truly been a great vacation home for our family.
