This is in a really nice location. It's a short walk to the beach. The house is spacious and has two large master bedrooms with their own full baths. The kids room has double beds bunked. The kitchen has lots of space. It is a great place to hang out together or get some alone space. Plenty of room for 6. There are big screen tvs which we didn't use, but they looked really nice. Cozy leather couch in the living room. On the rainy day we drove up to Airlie gardens which was not in the rain. Really pretty! Bring your own pool cues if you are serious about playing pool. The owner was very responsive and helpful. We would stay here again!

We were overall pleased with our stay. Owners were very responsive and helpful with communication. You can not beat the location for this value. The house could use some updating. Pool sticks all need tips, and the ping ping table is broken. Those are my only real critiques. We were at the beach, then in town so no one really missed those items in my group. We would stay here again.

When you first pull up, the outside does show the age of the house. But the inside is really does live up to the expectations as shown in the listing.
Family of 4 (with a Tween and a Teen) + our dog enjoyed every minute of the stay. Sitting on the porch at night was great and playing pool in our downtime. The beach is a very short walk and very easy to get to.
House was very clean and well maintained. No issues with anything during our stay.

My family and I rented the Georgia House for a week at Carolina beach and absolutely loved the property! The location was superb (1 block from beach) and the house was huge and appropriately furnished. Lots of space, and really liked the dual Master bedroom setup. TV/Fridge were awesome, huge kitchen, and my kids loved the pool table. Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed the property and how easy Chris was to work with. We will be back!

Over all the place was fine. When it come to cleaning, OMG. The air filter in the hallway was so full of dust and the vent was also, this was the case in the game room also. Behind the doors and on ALL the pictures around the house dust was caked on the frames and on the walls behind doors. The place can use a deep cleaning. The closet in the hallway, the door knob was broken. Once it was open we found that all the cleaning items were there. Outside the yard needed to be cut/weeded and there was a problem with mosquitoes. We were not able to sit under the house due getting eat up. I took pictures and sent them to the owner and he came by to address the issues I had, then he had someone to come and take care of the problem. Also, if you plan to cook meals you may want to bring your own pots and pans, as there are not many there to cook with. We made do with what we had to work with.
In all it was an Okay place.

This was a great place to spend the weekend, house was super nice and just felt like a home away from home for my girlfriend and our close friends. Would definitely stay here again.

This house was perfect for our family beach trip. Just a short walk from the sand, plenty of space, and convenient to Carolina Beach boardwalk and Wilmington. The owner was friendly and helpful when we had questions. We would recommend this home and would stay again.

This was an amazing trip! Last minute scheduling for spring break and this was the nicest house we have ever stayed in! Host was great to work with before we landed and house was clean, close to the beach and just an amazing set up.

The location is amazing, just a short walk to beach access. The home is very spacious, both bedrooms are a master set-up with very large rooms and bathrooms. The kitchen is also massive, which makes it easy to have multiple people in there at one time.
The owner was very responsive, and helpful with any questions we needed answered.
Would absolutely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Georgia house. It was much bigger and nicer in person than even the pictures show. We had all the ammenities we needed for a nice stay. We did minimal cooking, so I can't attest to much of the kitchen items, but there was a lovely fridge, ice maker and a wine opener (always a must!) Having 2 king beds was awesome! I always feel like someone gets a downgrade when they only get a queen bed. Plenty of towels and linens were available too. The location was perfect for going to the beach. quick walk. We carried our few items because we only took a few things, but a wagon other beach items, were provided as well. Such a lovely long weekend. Can't wait to go back. I would highly recommend staying in this house. Chris was very attentive to a couple of our questions and even called us as we arrived to give us a bit of information. Very nice to feel personally looked after.

This was the perfect spot for 6 adults. We were far enough away from all of the craziness of the Boardwalk and just a short walk from the beach. It is an older beach home that is well stocked with all of your needs. We wanted a room big enough to enjoy a movie or just hanging out. The house was exactly what we needed.

This is a very spacious house. The boys really enjoyed the pool table and the beach was just a few minutes walk away (very convenient). However, a few light bulbs all over the house need to be replaced.

I looked at several different options on my search for a place to stay. What really attracted my attention to this particular location was it not being a townhouse or condo.
Very large single family house. Spacious parking area, large porch with seating for all. Two main bedrooms with full baths plus an additional half bath off the kitchen made things very comfortable.

Took my son, his girlfriend, and grandson, who had never seen the ocean before. Unfortunately, the ocean took some new prescription glasses off the Gf. She didn't know the power of the waves. It was a great trip with a lot of firsts. The boys went charter fishing with Capt. Charles Powell
and may have caught a record-breaking black drum, paperwork was submitted. The house is great!! Many types of cookware and a few spices were available. I thought the food offered in the town was awful and overpriced. I do suggest cooking in-house more than eating out. There are many pictures of the owner's family I am assuming, which made it feel kind of like home. I would definitely stay again.

Access was easy, home was setup well and exactly as listed, Landlord was very nice and could have been easily contacted, but no need, short walk to beach, very quiet area, shopping and restaurants near by. Kitchen setup well, plenty of entertainment available. Home was safe for my 15 month old grandson.

House was large and very clean, it had everything we needed.
The beds in the master bedroom were so comfortable 😌. Great selection of movies we enjoyed watching our favorite. The pool table was a big hit. Location of home was great only a 5 minute walk to the beach. The only thing that needed attention was the lack of a light on the front porch at night as it was very dark and walking down the steps to take the dog out was scary.

We found this property exactly as advertised. It is not new, but clean and extremely spacious. The best thing is all this room is on one floor, even though it is a raised beach house. We were happy to find the property managed by the owner who was totally accommodating. We would definitely use this location again.

This was one of the best properties we have stayed in. The house was perfect - close to the beach, walkable neighborhood for the dogs, and all the amenities you would want at the beach including towels, a boogie board and a beach cart. Plus the owner, Chris, could not have made us feel more welcome.

Great location tucked back in a cute little neighborhood about a block and a half from the beach. House was beautiful, clean, roomy yet cozy! The pool table got plenty of use during our visit as well. Same your packing space the owner provides beach carts, boogie boards, and plenty of chairs. He’s usually near by if you need anything and very responsive. Really enjoyed our time thank you Mr. Holland!

We loved this house. It was much more spacious in person than I expected from the pictures, which was a nice surprise. My family of four (two teenagers) and my brother’s family of four (two college-aged kids) all stayed for the week. There was plenty of space for everyone, and it never felt crowded. When we weren’t at the beach or out doing other activities, the kids (and adults) loved the pool table room and spent most of their free time there. And at night the living room was more than big enough to fit us all (and then some) to play a game or watch a movie. The house was very clean and only a minute or two walk to the beach. Plenty of beach amenities (beach cart, chairs, boogie board, etc) and home amenities, again better than I expected. And the owner seems like a very decent, down-to-earth guy, communicated quickly and was very friendly and easy-going. We had a great week and would definitely stay there again if we returned to Carolina beach.

Great home very large basically everything you need
Got at the location in the dark found the ket after a bit the front door needs a updated proper lock is a safety issue if you need to exit in a hurry and your unfamiliar with its operation. Exit should be quick and easy.
Just a little TLC would make this property a 5 star but as it stands 3.5 stars. Bedrooms were great the furniture could use some updating looks run down and very uncomfortable. The kitchen was good and dining area good. Pool table was a good time we had some rain. Great TV in the main room but the remote is jacked up and needs replacing. Iys held together with old tape and you have to bend it so it functions a little frustrating and a easy fix. A day or two of loving and you have a 5 star stay.

Great home walking distance to the beach!
The house was great and perfect for our family of 8. Plenty of outdoor seating space and with extra chairs to use on the front porch. The inside family space was large and the pool table was an extra plus, enjoyed by the adults and children. The house was very clean which always makes a vaca stay pleasant. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Carolina beach house
This was a great house and we’ll definitely come back. Chris, the owner, was very helpful when we had a minor issue with the AC. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. It was spacious and close to the beach. We had plenty of cookware and towels.
