The property is up for sale, when it was time for us to check in there was a realtor at house showing it, my husband got out of truck and asked if they would be doing showings the whole time we was there, she told him no. We drove almost 15 hours we should have been able to pull in driveway park and unpack without having to wait a second. Then on Thursday I get a text from property owner about showing house, I did not reply, thinking they would decline the showing, nope Friday they show up, my husband goes outside and tells them they can’t come in we rented for the week and our personal items are in there, if they wanted to go in they would have to give us a night free they said no to that and left. If a house is on the market that should be known in description that there may be potential buys coming by to see house. The dishes was dirty had to clean before and after using, I had clean washer the best I could it smelled like mildew. Two of the supposed clean beds had sand in the sheets when we went to got to bed and sheets had to be washed. We left a day early because, we felt like we couldn’t go to beach because we wouldn’t leave our valuables in the house and we definitely was not going to leave them locked in our vehicles.

The house was perfect for my family and we enjoyed the time at the pool. Also in the morning back in the canal there’s a lot of manatees including a baby one. We enjoyed that weekend.

Our family had a lovely time at this property over the past 9 days. Some of our favorite things were the warm pool, the ample supplies thoughtfully laid in by the owner and the soft water. It's surprising to me how many rental homes have very hard water. The water here was awesome! We'd come again.

I, along with the rest of my group, could not have asked for a better stay. The house had everything we needed and was in a great location. Property manager was a pleasure to deal with and even helped us out when we were in a bit of a jam at the end of the week when he had no obligation to do so. I would highly recommend staying at this property to anybody looking to stay in the Cape Coral/Ft. Myers area.

The house was perfect for a nice week with the family. The Lanai pool and outdoor space was very comfortable. Communication was perfect. The house was very comfortable and homey. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare melas even a big Thanksgiving dinner. Fantastic. We almost cancelled our trip due to Hurricane Ian but am glad we didn’t. Thanks to Dan and family for providing a great place for our family celebration.

A little frustrated that access didn't work when we got there, but was relatively easily fixed. Very clean and welcoming. Amazing supplies and top quality stuff from Bath Towels, beach towels ( both very thick- no thread bare stuff), DD coffee, zip lock baggies, shampoos, soaps, detergents, toilet paper, paper towels, - not just sample sizes or one or 2 rolls....very nice to have the basics plus some!! Pool was great- kids enjoyed it immensely.. Lots of pool toys and beach supplies... Very good time!!

Exhausted from all the fun!
Fantastic house! The kids (ages 8-14) loved the pool, searching for lizards, finding iguanas, watching the burrow owls, fishing off the dock, and walking around the neighborhood! We met the neighbor across the canal who had many stories to share and let us use his crab trap! We enjoyed watching a manatee swim around the canal as we enjoyed our morning coffee! Perfect location to visit Ft. Myers Beach and Sanibel Island! We appreciated all the beach towels to use for the pool and beach and the stocked kitchen was perfect!

The pool was a huge hit and I’m pretty sure the two youngest members of our group spent more time in the pool that out of it. We took several day trips to Sanibel Island, the Everglades National Park, and Lover’s Key State Park. The house was the perfect central location to all of those places. The kitchen was well-stocked and the beds were comfy. Dan was easy to reach if needed and responded quickly to any questions. The iguana on the dock our first morning at the house was a fun delight for all of us!

Had all of our meals outside and enjoyed the view from there. The canal, changing pastel colors of the sky, and occasional bolts of lightening, rain and clouds. After all, if there’s not a thunderstorm in the evening daily, it’s not Florida. Property closely located to several beaches, and although there are many kid friendly activities, we thoroughly enjoyed hanging at the property most of the time. We came to relax, and in spite of small children and medium sized to supervise, we still felt rejuvenated at the end of the week. This trip was a welcome respite for a COVID-19 weary world. Hope to stay again in the future. Short report on the state of blow up pool toys, most have a leak, but we tried.😬

I love that it is surrounded by lush plants and trees offering you optimal privacy on the lanai and swimming pool. The yard was beautiful. We spent every evening on the large dock watching the manatees giving birth and raising their young in the canal. It is so close to everything you could want to do. Very short drive to sanibel island. We travel to cape coral at least once a year and this home was one our most favorite VRB homes. The property owner was so helpful and vigilant to make our stay the best!! I wish I could have taken the master bed home with me! I've never slept so well. This home was absolutely perfect. Plenty of space (and TV's) for our family of 10. It offers everything from swimming, boating, fishing to peace and privacy. I love that it is surrounded by lush plants and trees offering you optimal privacy on the lanai and swimming pool. The yard was beautiful. We spent every evening on the large dock watching the manatees giving birth and raising their young in the canal. It is so close to everything you could want to do. Very short drive to sanibel island. We travel to cape coral at least once a year and this home was one our most favorite VRB homes. The property owner was so helpful and vigilant to make our stay the best!! I wish I could have taken the master bed home with me! I've never slept so well. Exceeded expectations
The pictures of the property don’t do it justice! My family and I had a great time at Villa Allegria! The location is perfect. We rented a boat at a local marina and rocked it in the back of the house which was perfect! Only a 20 min drive to FT Myers beach. And the kids loved the pool! Will def stay again in the future!

We booked this home in order to provide accommodations for some of the friends and/or family making the trip to Florida for my daughter's destination wedding on Sanibel Island. It was perfect! The description provided made the property sound perfect for what we needed, and our stay here couldn't have been better. Plenty of space and well stocked with everything a family needs from the kitchen to the bathrooms to the amazing pool and dock. Everything was ready for us when we arrived and the home was clean, comfortable, and beautiful. The house book/instruction binder was so helpful. We had such an amazing time and it felt like home the entire time we were there. The location in Cape Coral was perfect! We cannot thank Dan, the owner, enough for allowing our family to rent this home. We have already discussed wanting to return to Florida next year for a reunion and checking on the availability this property will be the first step when scheduling our visit. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!
