We came to stay here for my birthday, and it was gorgeous right off the bat. The place was so clean, so comfortable and absolutely beautiful. The private dock was the perfect place to just vibe out and have fun with my partner and my friend. This is the perfect vacation destination!! If you're debating booking this place, DO NOT HESITATE!! It is SO WORTH IT. Thank you so much to the owners for giving me the best birthday vacation residence possible!

What an adorable property! Comfy, cozy with such an awesome view of the water. (The water is actually closer than it appears in the photos). We loved watching the birds in the yard at the feeders. The baby loved watching the swan and the geese on the water from the deck. The neighborhood is very quiet and the area is very walkable which we loved! We went to the Sea Street beach which was very nice and very close. The location on the Cape was great! We were close to the ferry for Nantucket and not too far from the ferry to the Vinyard. It was only about an hour to Provincetown which was a nice day trip. We were very close to the bike trail and that was a beautiful ride. We would definitely come back and stay at this property again. Kelly was very responsive and so very nice! I can’t say enough about our stay! Thank you Kelly, Steve and Michael!!

We are three friends and colleagues for 50 years. What a lovely accomodation for our mini-reunion. The home is cozy, immaculate, well appointed and charming. The location is peaceful and shady. The river view is wonderful! The TV 's were a challenge for we "older" folk, but we figured it out. The host, could not be nicer! 5 Stars!

This cottage is one of the best rentals we have ever had! The house was immaculate and beautifully furnished but not fussy. We were a party of 6 older adults and there was plenty of comfortable seating with views of the river. We enjoyed cooking in the well-stocked kitchen, eating together, doing puzzles, watching movies (brought our own dvd player) playing games. There was plenty of storage space in the kitchen and bedrooms. The appliances worked well and were modern. The bedrooms were very comfortable and serene. The houses are close together on the street but looking out back you would never know it. Just a splendid view of sunrises over the river. Loved watching egrets, swans, mergansers, and kingfisher along with familiar backyard birds. Kate was so helpful and attentive - the perfect hostess. We hope to come back!

We had a great relaxing weekend here.
House is very comfortable and well equipped.
Kids enjoyed the games and we enjoyed the puzzles.
The sunrise is amazing, and I could sit and watch the water for hours.
One note: the master bedroom is not well heated and was colder than the rest of the house. That was not a big issue for us, as we went there only to sleep.

We watched the sunrise over the water every morning, and the moon every evening. From the deck, we watched swans, egrets, great, blue heron, green heron, kingfishers, cormorants, and a variety of backyard birds at the feeder. The kitchen was well equipped for the nights we ate in, and there were fabulous restaurants within 20 minutes in any direction. We’ll be back!!

The location of this riverfront cottage can not be beat. We enjoyed morning coffee on the back deck overlooking the beautiful river views. Although the location was central and convenient to the Cape, the home and surrounding area were peaceful and private. The cottage decor was even more impressive than in the online photos. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back again!

This was a beautiful and clean house with a really remarkably lovely view of the Swan River. A group of college friends and I needed a place to stay for the weekend. This house had plenty to do for the pre-teens among us, while also having lots of places for the grownups to sit and talk. The location was perfect - everything close by - and it was a great pleasure to be able to explore the channels of the river. The house was super-clean and well-equipped and the owners were very helpful and responsive. Would totally stay again!

We had a wonderful, relaxing time at the house. The location is excellent, with a beautiful view and feeling of being surrounded by nature, and yet just a couple minutes walk from Kream and Kone, Dunkin', and many other stores. The kitchen was well-stocked with pots/pans -- we had everything we needed. Overall a lovely house. Would definitely stay there again!

My famiy and i had a great time,the house was neat and clean and everything in order,very comfortable in every room with anything you may need or want to make your stay just right ,decorations and furniture so nice ! the marsh veiws were breath taking and such a pleasure to wake up to ! The owners were very friendly with great recommendations for restaurants and shopping ,communicatin was great too ! we are looking forward to our next stay at River Run (((we loved it))) thank you for everything ! It has taken days to stop daydreaming about our stay at this beautiful location. We all enjoyed the quiet mornings by the river, kayaking to the bridge and back, and playing board games in the evening. Also, nothing beats a nice outdoor shower! My youngest daughter loved the toys/games that were available, There are plenty of pots/pans and spices, but bring your own sugar, olive oil, and such or cooking. A huge convenience is a very short walk to 7-11, Dunkin Donuts, and an ice cream shop. This definitely came in handy since we were avoiding buying too many groceries. Kelly was spot on with communication. We cant wait to return next year!

We had a wonderful vacation week here. The location was great and we so enjoyed being right on the river. The house was perfect. Just enough space for our family of four and clean. We would definitely book again for another Cape getaway.

What a wonderful spot on the Swan Pond River! You couldn't ask for a more beautiful, peaceful spot to enjoy a cup of morning coffee among nature! We had plenty of privacy yet had neighbors right next door.
Besides the wonderful setting, the home is lovely and clean! It is light, bright and cheery! The beds were comfy! The ac works great! Water pressure is wonderful! The outdoor shower was a plus as we have kids that were looking for critters and were a mess and obviously couldn't come in the house like that.
The house is a quick ride 5 min ride to the grocery store. 7 eleven and the liquor store are maybe a 4 min easy walk.
We explored Paine's Creek, Mayflower Beach, Skaket Beach, Chatham Harbor and Main Street. All beautiful! None very far at all.
Kelly was amazing! Communication, understanding were excellent!
We will be back if she will have us!❤

My family and I had a wonderful time at River Run. The home is beautiful, clean, spacious, well-appointed, and comfortable. Nothing beats the view of the river from the deck, and the large glass doors/windows allow you to feel connected while relaxing inside the home. My 3 & 7 year old daughters enjoyed kayaking, birdwatching, feeding the ducks, toasting smores by the fire. The location is fantastic as well, we found Dennis to be very central to everywhere we wanted to go during our stay on the Cape. Kelly was terrific, provided all the info and recommendations we needed and very responsive during our stay. Five stars!

We enjoyed our stay tremendously. We could have sat the porch all day to enjoy the breath taking view of Swan River. My husband loved kayaking from the private dock. Very conveniently located walking distance to restaurants and stores. The owner was easily available if we had questions. We would definitely book again.

This was by far the best property & owner I have communicated with while using Verb. The communication process with the owner was outstanding, check in was early and no worries. The property itself was beyond beautiful, clean and in a perfect locations. I highly recommend this property to anyone that wants to visit the Cape and West Dennis.

The property was absolutely beautiful! Great care was obviously taken to make the space comfortable and relaxing. I have stayed in many rentals over the years and have never arrived to such a sparkling clean space. I was also impressed by the thoughtful and throrough owner.

We have been renting vacation houses on the Cape for a while now, and this summer we decided to try a river-side vacation instead of the usual beach-focused one. We did not regret it. The best part was kayaking. We went up and down the Swan Pond River almost every day an thoroughly enjoyed that. We also drove (5 mins) and walked (30 mins) to the nearby Sea Street beach a few times in the afternoon. The house was in a great shape and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a well-equipped kitchen. I highly recommend this rental.

This is our third year staying here. We look forward to it all year. Nothing makes us happier than sitting on the dock watching the crabs, fish, birds, and a family of swans pass by. It’s always so clean and beautifully decorated. Can’t wait to come back again!

I stayed at this location for 15 weeks with a friend from graduate school as we are both traveling Physical Therapists and were on contract in the remote area. Kelly and Steve were very understanding of our situation and made our stay here and our first experience with VRVO excellent. The house has everything you need and more for short term and long term stays, the waterfront access and view are beautiful, and the location in town is great. If you are coming to the cape and looking for a cute, quiet, and cozy home to stay in with family or friends that is close to everything in town including beaches, then I would highly recommend Kelly and Steve’s home!

This is my first VRBO experience and I am delighted with our vacation at Kelly’s home on Swan River. The home is sparkling clean with many amenities. The deck is a great place for watching wildlife.

While unassuming from the outside, the property itself, from the inside on through to the back deck, offers too many delights and easter eggs to count. While you will need your car here, the location feels very centrally-located and is only a short drive from many highly sought Cape Cod sights and experiences. It's Idyllic in every sense and my family and I could not have had a better experience. And though I do hate to "spot-burn", this house provides a world-class striper fishing experience right from its back deck. Whether spin or fly, you can accomplish it there. Just please release everything you catch.
