The place was lovely, spacious, and immaculate. The kitchen was stocked with every single appliance you could need. We enjoyed our breakfast on the downstairs patio, with the view of the lake surrounded by ducks and hummingbirds. It's only minutes from restaurants, close to various fishing spots, and numerous hiking trails.

The property was exactly what we expected. We loved the location, neighborhood, and proximity to the lake. Having access to the kayak was a very pleasant surprise -- an added bonus! We look forward to returning to Pinetop-Lakeside!

We just got back a few days ago from our Pinetop-Lakeside vacation. It was our first time using Vrbo, and we’re happy to report that our stay in Paul’s and Gayle’s townhome by the lake was incredible. The location of the home is perfect; two of the bedrooms and the deck face Rainbow lake so each morning we woke up to a breathtaking view. It was just my husband and our two dogs, but there was clearly more than enough space for a bigger family. It was spacious, clean, cozy, and a perfect getaway from the desert heat. The kitchen was fully supplied with dishes, glasses, and the necessary utensils to prepare a family meal, as well as miscellaneous necessities like plastic wrap, etc. Paul and Gayle are a VERY pet-friendly hosts. Our dogs are old and one is terminally ill, so we were very grateful that they welcomed both of them and even shared a large kennel during our stay. Our dogs are part of our family, and they seemed very comfortable. This is one of the main reasons why we chose this home. We highly recommend going on walks by the lake and sitting on the deck with a nice cup of tea/coffee and just enjoy a peaceful moment watching the ducks and other wildlife. And if you like fishing, this is the place for it. This was a very meaningful wedding anniversary gift to ourselves with the aim of spending precious time with our canine “babies”. It was perfect.

My wife and I went up there many times in the past but since she past away 6 years ago it’s been awhile, my sister and I went up last year and again this year, in all the times I’ve been there it has always been great, Paul is a great person to deal with, very knowledgeable and helpful in all aspects of the rental, would definitely recommend it and do to whom ever I talk to that’s planning a vacation.

VERY nice property. One exception is protected birds (swallows and Geese). They can be very messy. The owner does everything he can to minimize the issue. We were very impressed with caring and considerate effort to make our stay enjoyable.

It’s all about the view! Quiet, quaint, and clean. It’s a great little getaway to the mountains and close to everything - good food, local shops, massages, yoga, shop local! Walks, lots of hiking and fishing. Rainbow Lake is a gem.

We love staying on Rainbow Lake with our kids! We've been doing so for almost ten years and have stayed in this house two or three times now. It's a great house with beautiful views and a fabulous location in the Shores. Totally recommend. There's nothing like sunset on the lake. :)

The location is fabulous, very close to the shoreline. The townhouse is well-appointed and very comfortable We enjoyed time on the patio watching the sunset over the lake and watching the many waterfowl who share the lake. Unfortunately, didn't have any luck fishing, but in all fairness, probably didn't give it a good enough try. The owner communicated with us regularly and was super to work with. We found some delicious restaurants but it was also convenient to prepare meals and BBQ at the townhouse. It was a relaxing getaway.

This is our third stay at this little piece of heaven, but the first time bringing our grandsons.
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our grandsons are 17, 15, and had a quick visit with our 5 year old grandson Also.

First time kayaking…. First time night fishing for the older boys and first time for the youngest for fishing and catching his own big catfish!
The water was high and the fish were plentiful and BIG!
Everything you need is here at this lovely lake house… we were here for a week and only left to get more bait and groceries.
We are forever grateful for the memories we were able to make with our family.

We hit some of the recommended restaurants and explored the town, arts festivals and did a beautiful hike through to Woodland Lake!! We also took a drive to Hawley Lake - so much to do and a wonderful house in a very nice location!!!

We had the most wonderful stay at this lovely home right on Rainbow Lake. The property was exactly as described. It was cozy, comfortable and the most peaceful and beautiful setting. Temperatures here 30 degrees cooler than the city. The owner responded very quickly to a check in question and made sure we knew he was available anytime if we had any further inquiries. We liked that it was a gated community. Everything you could need in the closely surrounding towns. Would definitely stay here again. We spent most of our time on the deck overlooking the lake and enjoying all the nature.

Love the location! No boat dock to personal leave your boat.quite a joke to have to put both trailers in a one car garage and drive way.. Rich HOA that doesn't like their gravel roughed up for parking.please don't touch their pretty Grass. I think I deserve some kind of refund for All the turmoil it was for my husbands 60 th birthday fishing trip. Nothing but called on everyday from HOA. Disappointed

We were at the condo mid-May. We loved it! Paul is a pleasure to work with. The location adjacent to Rainbow Lake is terrific. We walked out the back door and were standing next to the lake. I caught 5 trout and 13 catfish in two days. Absolutely will be a return visit.

Paul’s lake house has everything you want to get away from the city for a weekend or longer. This townhouse has all the comforts of home and extras if you need to entertain your family and you dogs. It is centrally located in Pinetop which makes it easy to get to all the good local restaurants.

My husband and I wanted a little time away after Christmas so my daughter, her husband, their 2 y/o, and our 2 dogs loaded up the truck for a 3 day decompression. We ate breakfast at Darby's, coffee at Cyclelogical, and way too many trips to Walmart. And then it snowed just the right amount to build a snowman. It was perfect.
Although it was explained to us, I don't remember why the water in the lake was so low. It didn't really matter because that wasn't why we were there. The house was cozy, and the gated stairway kept our toddler grandson safe.
We did have a problem with the dishwasher, but we were able to talk to Paul, and he helped us resolve the issue immediately. We had a great time and would love to return in the summer for some water fun when the lake is full.

We have been staying at this townhouse annually for almost ten years. The home has everything we need including a breath taking view of Rainbow Lake. Paul is a wonderful owner and very accommodating. Book your stay, you will not regret it.

We had such a wonderful time at this property. It was very clean and it easily accommodated three adults, two kids and our dog! The owners are absolutely amazing and so easy to communicate with. We will definitely recommend this place to others and we plan to stay again in the future!

We had a great stay. This place was stocked with everything you need. The beds and pillows were super comfy. I wish we had the kids with us because they would have loved the loft, kayak and tandem bike. There was gaming systems and movies too. Thank you again 😁
