Our group had a blast at Lisa’s cottage. The waterfront is beautiful and so is the house. We had lots of space and activities to keep us entertained while it rained. There was something for everyone. When the sun came out we were able to take advantage of the beautiful weather and enjoy the lake. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We hope to be back in future.

Went with a group of girls for a bachelorette weekend. Nothing exciting just a low key girls tripe away. I am not particularly outdoorsy and a bit of a princess. This place totally exceeded my expectations. Get the cottage experience without roughing it! All the girls were comfortable and had a blast. I will definitely be back with family!

Truly scratching my head after seeing everyone's recent reviews. Where should we start... 1) ANTS, lots of ANTS! Once you enter the property they start greeting you in the kitchen, big ones coming from around the fridge. Then you see them on the bench next to you when you're eating at the dining table. Then you see more of them in the floor below on the ottoman. Then you see them around the toilet and shower. We know it's close to nature and we should expect some bugs, but the ants infestation indoors is really over the top. 2) Once you enter the property, you get a strong smell of the last occupant's brunch (and possibly dinner?) and the smell lingers so it didn't give us a good vibe from the get-go. 3) Utensils in the kitchen cabinet, particularly the plastic bowls and frying pan, has ketchup-like stains and again you can see and smell the last occupants' meal(s). We ended up tossing our food that was cooked on the pan because of this. Cleanliness (and hygiene) is an issue and you can see black stains in sink and shower as well. 4) No blankets and no bed sheets. There's a single sentence (which we admittedly missed) about no linen in the rental document, and we were blanket-less for the first night till other family members brought blankets the day after. 5) Insufficient hot water supply. We had couple families with kids, and after one kid having a bath and another adult showering, there was no more hot water left and every other person had to wait for almost an hour for water to be heated in between. 6) Air circulation is an issue at the main floor (which may explain issue #2 above): during daytime the air is very humid and stuffy because it faces the sun, then at night the air is very dry indoors, which makes it hard to relax and sleep. 7) Stingy on toilet paper and paper towels. There are only 2 rolls on site. Unforeseen in other cottage stays. Rental document mentions bringing your own. Just wanna remind others to really remember to bring your own here. The outdoor set up was nice, view was great and canoe was fun though.

Our stay was fantastic and there was an array of bedroom configurations - which is perfect for several families staying together. They had the most adorable loft which was perfect for kids! The lake was beautiful and quiet, and the hosts are super great people! Would highly recommend!!

We have a wonderful 3/4 days vacation in the cottage with friends and family. Everything was very good and well organized.

Perfect for multiple couples looking for an easy week away. The property is well maintained and comfortable. It was exactly what we were looking for!

We started with an unexpected surprise when we checked in - Google map led us to another location using the same address. That other house was a complete opposite in terms of appearance and quality and that scared us to death. Thankfully, Lisa picked up her phone immediately when we called her and directed us to the correct location. The property is gorgeous and looks exactly the same it is in the photos. The scenery of the lake is breathtaking. We had a blast at the property. It was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. There are 3 full bathrooms and 3TVs in the property, which is perfect for our group of 3 families. The kids love the loft. They enjoyed movies and played video games together there. It's like the kids' own private space. We spent a lot of time playing table tennis during which we shared lots of laughs and funny moments. We also played Connect 4, Scrabble, Meme and Card Against Humanity which were available in the property. The only downside is that the road led to the property has some steep slopes. So, winter renters have to make sure that their cars have winter tires. After all, the location, the layout and scenery of Lisa's property are all perfect. It's everyone's dream vacation house! We will definitely re-revisit this property if we have the luck to be able to book it again!

Beautiful location. Great sleeping for families, not so great for 11 adults. Very nice property. Lots of stairs to get down to the lake. Lots of chairs by the dock and great fire pit area. Enjoyed that area and had a great time.

This place is amazing. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to get away from the busy life to enjoy some real R&R. Owners are very easy to talk to and respond very quickly if something comes up. Hoping to book this place every summer now.

The property is great. The house was nice and the location was perfect and secluded. On the down side one bed cover had a huge urine stain. One Bed was fully broken. The internet was weak at best and when it rained their wasn't any covered outdoor locations to occupy. In the end, despite these issues it was still a beautiful place with a great view

My family and I had a great time at the cottage. The bedrooms were all very comfortable and the bathrooms were all updated. The basement is nicely updated, very cozy and we loved playing ping pong. We enjoyed the open concept kitchen and living room but the best feature of this cottage is the exterior. The landscaping is gorgeous, we loved the firepit and spending the days soaking up the sun on the dock. The pictures really don't do it justice. The only suggestion I would have is a larger kitchen table with more chairs in case you have a larger party. We were fine since there was only 5 of us but the kitchen table and chairs only accommodated 6 people. Overall we had a wonderful time and would love to revisit in the summer. Thank you Lisa. One more thing to note is that the lights to illuminate the exterior yard is under the deck near the air conditioner.

We spent a 4 days at this place and we can now say that it was a short stay but it was great! We relaxed, enjoyed the house and lake, played a lot outside and inside and had so much fun! We all agreed that we want to repeat and for sure for a longer stay :)Thank you for everything LisaLove, Liliana & family

Pictures do not do justice of how breathtaking this cottage is! My entire family was in dire need of a vacation and this cottage was a perfect getaway during this pandemic. Communication with the host was seamless and all instructions were clearly provided. The cottage was absolutely beautiful and incredibly clean. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary utensils, pots and condiments. There are also board games and toys for little kids provided to keep them busy. The backyard is absolutely breathtaking. There’s a huge fireplace with enough chairs for a large family of 15 to sit comfortably. Make sure to bring your own firewood! The scenic lake is absolutely serene. There’s also a canoe by the dock if you don’t bring your own boat (life jackets for kids and one adult are hung in a closet inside the house). Overall had an amazing vacation not too far away from home, thank you for having us!

The house was clean and just like the photos. We had 4 families with 8 young kids and they had so much fun at the cottage. We did some nature walks around the cottage, looked at the frozen lake, and had a campfire for activities outdoors. Inside, they loved to play in the loft, watch TV upstairs or downstairs, and there were plenty of open spaces making it easy for parents to also monitor them. We didn’t need to leave the cottage to go out and get anything at all for our 4-day stay. Communication with the owner was great. The kitchen had all the stuff we needed. We loved the style of the cottage and can’t wait to visit it again in the fall time so we can enjoy the backyard more!

3rd time staying. Always a great experience.

Rented the Cottage for family day long weekend. There were 13 of us, 7 adults and 6 kids. February 14-17, 2020 The cottage was spacious and clean. Master bedroom is big with the bathroom adjacent to the room is a plus. The two other room on the main level is a bit small for two people in one room especially after all your belongings is in the room it gets a little crowded but its not a big deal. The bunkbeds in the basement worked for us because the boys get to sleep in that one room. The other room in the basement with one day bed and a queen size bed which was a great place for one of our teenage girl and for one single adult woman. Aside from the master bedroom’s bathroom there’s a common bathroom in the common area for everyone to use. Both basement and main floor bathroom has shower which is really awesome especially for a big group. The kitchen is fully equipped but if you are planning to cook something with a big pot, i suggests you bring your own big pot. They have one or two big pot but its not the big or deep enough for the type of food that we cooked. The table tennis at the basement is a plus, especially for the kids, its keeps them away from Electronics. The loft with two bed was awesome, one of the more older teenager boy get to use that space, it gave him a quiet space to finished his school work while staying at the cottage during night. Don’t forget to bring your towels, toiletries, bed covers, pillow covers and comforters. But for us, we used the sleeping bags for our comforters, it worked well as the house was warm and cozy enough. There’s a fireplace but we didn’t get a chance to use it, we weren’t sure where to buy the fire woods and there weren’t any firewoods left for us to use. The backyard was filled with snow but we made a path to do tobogganing with the kids and we spent the whole afternoon at the backyard hanging out the lake and doing Tobogganing down the hill. The Arrowhead Provincial Park was 30mins. to do other outdoor activities with the kids. The closest grocery store and gas station is 5 to 10 mins drive away. Almost all cleaning materials was provided, I think the only thing that was not there was the paper towel in the kitchen, we ended up buying that. There’s a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer if you need it. Note: There’s a steep hill going to the cottage if you are renting this cottage during winter time, please make sure you‘re using winter tires. This place is AMAZING!

We loved spending the weekend here, it was everything that we were looking for as a nice relaxing getaway with plenty of room for everyone! The place was clean, family-friendly, and the owners were very responsive when we had any issues. I hope I have the privilege of being able to book this place again soon! Thank you!

This cottage is just a dream of a one who is looking to bring family together for holidays. It’s much bigger than it looks on pictures. The outside cottage area is beautiful. I would definitely recommend this cottage for staying.
