Fantastic time! Appreciated all the info given regarding dining and attractions. Great rental for a large group , plenty of space for different age groups. Also loved the balconies for evening card games. Washer and dryer was a godsend with all the beachwear.

My family loved staying in this house for the week. We would wake up early and walk to the beach to set up our spot for our LARGE family. We used the grill to cook out and had a great time playing game nights on the balcony. This home has all of the amenities needed for you to feel super comfortable. I highly recommend staying here if you have a large group. The outside shower is a must-have after a long day at the beach!

My friends and I came down to get away for a few days and this was the perfect place for it! Everyone had their own room and it was spaced out nicely. Pretty nice location for walking over to the beach. Downtown is not too far either. All in all we had a good time and the clearly laid out check-in /out process made things really easy when it came time for us to leave!

Easy access to beach, was worried about noise as house was duplex and right on main street, but very quiet. Never heard large family checked in to other side, and traffic noise was barely noticable even when outside.

This was a wonderful vacation for our large family! 4kids & 3 adults this was enough space for everyone. Walking in and being able to access everything so easily from the toiletries to the remote controls was very comforting instantly I could tell that the house was clean and well organized. The view of beach in the morning while drinking a cup of coffee was the best part for me. I truly enjoyed myself.

Took a chance after talking to the owner and him assuring me they'd done a deep clean and changed the policy to include linens.
The place was clean on arrival, and spacious enough for our group.
Looks like they upgraded some of the kitchen accessories, and created a supply closet with extra tp and whatnot.
Overall a nice place with nice outdoor furniture and a good location right across from the beach. Would stay again!

I will say this house is perfect for a large group. Our family met here (Carolina Beach) for Christmas 2022. It has plenty of space for everyone to spread out. It has a great view of the ocean. We had perfect weather!

The house was dirty when we moved in. We drove in late at 11 PM and it was too late to call the landlord about it.
The toilet bowls had streaks. There was sand on the floor in some places. TP holder was broken in one bathroom. There is a cleaning charge included in the price of rental and it felt that the house hadn't been cleaned after the last rental. Or even before that. We picked a book under the coffee table for my daughter to read and it had a THICK layer of dust on it. The table under the TV was same.
I got the feeling the landlord was merely pocketing the cleaning fee. Just not nice. I've been in budget motels that have been cleaned to higher standards!
One new unexpected item was linens were a separate charge and the beds were not made. This is the first I've seen at a vacation rental. When I go for a vacation, I don't want to carry around a load of sheets! We had to make our beds at 11 PM before we could sleep. It felt like a "convenience fee" being levied.
It's a nice house and the location is nice and would make for a good beach vacation. But we felt short changed due to lack of attention to cleaning and the landlord skimping on minimum necessities. The blender looked like it belonged to my grandma and the toaster is about the cheapest piece of plastic imaginable.
There wasn't enough TP or kitchen rolls. Given the rate of about $800 a day, I feel they should be a bit generous and have some TP rolls and kitchen rolls for convenience of guests. Why would I haul a whole lot of stuff into a vacation home? The cheapest motel room comes with shampoo, soap, paper towels, linens etc.
Once again, it's a nice house in a nice location but I felt stiffed due to the cheap treatment and being given a dirty house to check-in. Not happy about that at all.

The house was an excellent place for our family to gather, and at the same time, it offered the space for people to retreat to their room after a long day at the beach.
The walk to the beach was very convent, and the house location provided a nice view of the ocean from the two decks.
The house needs a deep cleaning—the carpet in the main bedroom requires shampooing. The king's size mattress in the main bedroom had large stains on the bed, discovered because the sheet and mattress pad were continuously untucked from the corners—made for long nights of readjusting the sheets. The pillows were stained and should be replaced.
The bathroom on the third-level shower head did not operate correctly, and the pocket door did not close.
The bathroom on the main level tub did not drain promptly.
The washer and dryer closet looked like it had not been cleaned, with lint and dust on the floor and the washer and dryer.
The outdoor storage area that provides beach chairs and umbrellas, although a nice convince, they were musty, and many of the chairs should just be throwaway. It needs a good cleaning.
This house has a beautiful layout for large families and friends to enjoy the area, but it needs a deep cleaning.

My extended family and I stayed here for a week in August and had a wonderful time. It’s an extremely short walk to the beach, and centrally located to all of Carolina Beach’s amenities, restaurants and shops.
The house was very modern with plenty of space for all three of our families. Kitchen was well appointed and the beds were comfy. Lots of room for parking too which can be tough to find

Great location and proximity to the beach
This property is just across the street from the beach and close to restaurants which worked great for us. It’s spacious and was a good fit for our group of 6 adults and 6 kids. Only complaint we had was bedding. You’ve to pay for linens or bring your own. It’s listed in the description but can be easily overlooked. The quality of comforters could use an upgrade. Clean linens and and an updated coffee machine might add to the otherwise good experience.

Excellent location with ocean views from the decks and fabulous sunrise views everyday. Beach access is a few steps away, just across the street. Right location for a calm, relaxing and laid-back beach vacation and also quick access to all amenities, attractions and restaurants.

Spacious and great location
I was a little concerned at first that the property would be a bit cramped based on the pictures as we were a party of 13. However, the house is very spacious and all of the rooms are bigger than they seem in the pictures. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and all areas were generally cleaned pretty well save for a spot here or there. The host was easy to communicate with and everything was pretty much as expected. The house is located a short distance from lots of restaurants and plenty of other attractions. Highly recommend!

This was a trip to celebrate our 90 year old grandmother. The house worked perfectly. Great layout with 6 bedrooms. 2 balconies to enjoy the view of the ocean. Well stocked kitchen and a nice space with large table for gathering. Easy walk to the beach. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Great Location
We had a great week at the beach with near perfect weather. The house is very nice and we loved the decks. We were a little surprised that this was a duplex as it doesn't say that anywhere in the information. That did not affect our stay other than parking was a little tight. I would recommend bringing any special pots or utensils you need for cooking or you'll have to be creative with what is there. David was very quick to respond when there was a problem. We had one problem that couldn't be resolved during our stay and he gave us a credit for that. The location was great. Just a short walk to the beach. Be aware the road is pretty busy, but the speed limit is low and people are good about letting you cross. This was a great vacation for us! Thank you David for sharing your beautiful home!

Excellent Location
The house is very well laid out. In particular, the kitchen is a treat! In spite of having a large group, we were not on top of each other and the location was excellent. We had beautiful views from the second floor balcony (which may change once the empty lot across the street is developed) and the wood was in good condition so no one ended up with splinters!
We did have to call about a chirpy fire alarm, but the owner was very responsive and had it taken care of promptly.
Cons: Some of the furniture was showing its age when we visited and it could have been cleaner. There were some minor maintenance problems, but those we hope will be fixed shortly.
