A excellent cottage in the middle of the countryside on a working farm just 9 miles from Okehampton. Fantastic views and a very large garden with swings and slide for the children and pet friendly. Nice couple with just the right amount of interaction with their guests. High standard of equipment especially the cookers. We had a very enjoyable holiday at Tutchenor farm. Jennie our host could not have done more to put us at ease with the Covid restrictions or to accommodate our needs. Our group consisted of 3 family groups. Coming from Wales we are allowed 4 families in our extended households. We were a family of 5 (3 children), another family of 6 (4 children) and a family of 3 adults. The farmhouse was very spacious, ideal for our large extended family with plenty of room for the children to play and have fun. The weather was rather atrocious except for the Wed, which was beautiful, but even so it didn't dampen our spirits too much. The back garden with its climbing frame, slide and swings was ideal for young children and would have been used a lot more had the weather been favourable. The large patio with the large dining table outside would have also been lovely with better weather. The house is in process of updating and so there were minor things that needed to be done but none of these affected our overall stay in any way. we would not hesitate to recommend it.
