Situada frente al pueblo y al río, esta cabaña adosada cuidadosamente convertida ofrece una base de vacaciones encantadora para relajarse o desde la cual explorar la zona. Hay buenos paseos y rutas ciclistas, y con lugares como Chatsworth House, The Peak District, Mansfield, Sherwood Forest, Nottingham y Newark, todo dentro de un corto trayecto en automóvil, hay mucho que ver y hacer. Hay una buena selección de tiendas en el pueblo y con la casa pública de Jug and Glass al lado hay un lugar conveniente para disfrutar de la cerveza y la comida locales. Compre ½ milla, pub 10 yardas y restaurante 4½ millas.

Lovely relaxing weekend break, cottage well equipped and located, very clean and lots of thoughtful touches. Great garden for our two dogs and handy pub next door, we didn't hear any noise from the pub even during the England - Spain final! Hosts were very accommodating and helpful, lots of useful information on things to do and walks etc in the area as well as places to eat provided. We enjoyed our weekend away and would recommend the cottage to anyone looking for a nice relaxing break.

Cosy, well equipped cottage and great central location for Creswell Grags, Sherwood Forest, Clumber
Cosy, well equipped cottage and great central location for Creswell Grags, Sherwood Forest, Clumber Park and Bolsover Castle; within 20 min drive approx (all dog friendly too). Poulter Country Park 3 mins drive. My one trivial gripe is there was no decent kitchen chopping knife!

We had a lovely long weekend in Jug and Glass cottage.
We had a lovely long weekend in Jug and Glass cottage. On arrival found some lovely treats left for us .....Thank You........The beds were nice and comfy and lovely and warm. We found the cottage cosy and as advertised very dog friendly. Plenty of throws to cover furniture if needed and dog towels that came in very handy as we had lots of rain and had used our own doggy towels. Our 3 small dogs enjoyed the garden to have a run around in and was nice and secure. The pub next door was great for a nice pub meal and found the staff very friendly. Spent our only dry day walking in Sherwood forest which was only 20 mins away. So much more to visit in the area so would love a return visit and of course we will stay again in the Glass and Jug cottage.

It was the little touches that made all the difference to our stay, a basket full of throws to cover the sofas, doggie bowls and doggie towels in pantry and a fully enclosed garden for the dogs to lounge in, saying all this the place was very clean and very well equipped thoughout the added touch of some board games for family challenges.

Our second visit to this lovely cottage and we will be back again next year, the cottage is spacious
Our second visit to this lovely cottage and we will be back again next year, the cottage is spacious, extremely well equipped and has a safe, nice sized garden. The pub next door is such a bonus too, with great food and very friendly staff. The local area is beautiful, so much to see and do no matter what the weather. This is my personal favourite place to stay.

This is the third year we have been to the cottage and already booked for next year. Next door is the jug and glass pub, you can take your dogs in and excellent food. Would recommend this cottage . The photo is of the cenotaph and river right outside the cottage.
