Everything was very nice! Very comfortable and relaxing! We enjoyed a little time in the hot tub last night. We went out for dinner so we didn’t cook while we were there. Only suggestion I would make is there are no outlets near the bed. Couldn’t use our Cpap machines as no place to plug them in. Otherwise I would highly recommend this for a small family or two couples.

We loved the chalet; the location, the hot tub, the pool, the covered deck, etc. the beds were comfortable , there were plenty of towels in bathroom and kitchen and the swinging chair was nice. The only minor things that happened included the keyed entry broke but was promptly replaced. Same thing happened to the coffee maker, but again replaced immediately. One thing that still needs to be addressed, which we only mentioned when we left was that the sink stopper wouldn’t stay up so we have to prop it with something so the sink would drain. This should be an easy fix snd based on the quick service we got during our stay, I’m sure it was taken care of. We would stay here again.

Great location and a very nice cabin.

Went for a weekend trip to hike. Location is great if that's what you're going for. Area is super nice. The area is like a little subdivision with actual people at the office up front. We felt super safe and had an amazing time. The upstairs bathroom was a little tight but the downstairs bathroom made up for that. Great trip!

Our stay was great and everything exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend.

Clean, conveniently located to hiking attractions, and equipped with some fun amenities, Hemlock cabin was all we could have hoped for during a weekend getaway with our teenagers! We'd definitely come back!

We had a great stay. The property is secluded and private, and only a few miles from Old Mans Cave etc.

Dangerous and uncaring
The stay was good. The place was in a nice location. However maintenance was poor.
We were told maintenance would regularly check the hot tub. That did not happen. When we stated it needed to be addressed we were told no one was available.
Also to get to the fire pit is a hazard as it is stone and downhill.
However the worst was as we packed up. As my husband took items to our car to pack up. The top step broke from under him and he fell pretty hard. He was banged up pretty good and now has bruises and swelling throughout his legs. When we checked out and told the staff, there was no reaction. They said they would get maintenance over to fix it. Didn’t ask how he was or if they could do anything. No apology. I mentioned that our grandson had been with us and if this had happened while he was here he could have been seriously hurt. Then someone finally asked if he was ok but in a monotone voice. I own a business and if someone had fallen I would be concerned for them, jumping to see what I could do to help them. Very disappointing!

We loved our stay at The Chalets! We stayed in the Hemlock Cabin. It was more private and secluded than we expected, which was amazing! Great fire pit! We used the hot tub every night after spending the day at various Hocking Hills spots. The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked all our meals at the cabin. Overall an excellent first time at Hocking Hills.

Very easy setup, very clean, nice experience overall. Great location near Hocking Hills features and. Amenities. Opportunities for improvement- seating on downstairs patio- property photo makes the yard look flatter than it is, it was very steep and not safe for my son. We would not have rented for this reason.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hemlock. We received a call that we could check-in early at 2:30pm which was great, and upon arrival the cabin was absolutely spotless. We hadn't originally planned on using the kitchen much, but were pleasantly surprised to see all of the provided cookware was brand new and lots of it. Plenty of bath towels, garbage bags, etc. were provided and more were available at the front office if needed. The proximity to the parks is absolutely fantastic. The cabin is secluded enough from other buildings on the property and very quiet and peaceful. The hot tub was clean, well maintained and very much enjoyed after long days of hiking. The wi-fi was a bit spotty at times and is limited to 1-2 users at a time. There are instructions on how to reset the router, which we needed to do a few times and that typically fixed the problem. This wasn't a huge issue as our main reason for going on this trip was to unplug. There is little to no service driving to the parks, so we were dependent on following road signs and paper maps as opposed to GPS. The road signs are easy to follow. Our only issue and the reason for giving this cabin 4 stars was the lack of heat in the lower level, which includes a bedroom with (2) queen beds and the larger bathroom with a shower, (2) sinks and the sauna. The weather was in the 60's and low 70's while there and it was significantly colder on the lower level, especially at night. There is a manual wall/space heater in both the bathroom and bedroom, which works great and heats things up quick. But it is manual, and needs to be turned off and on as needed and while attended. We would heat the sleeping area up significantly before going to bed and that was comfortable, but I needed to get up at least once again in the middle of each night and again early morning to let it run 5-10 minutes more as the room got cold again. In the warmer summer months this would be a non-issue and the cooler lower level would be welcomed. It just would have been nice to have a non-manual heating option downstairs that kept things warm. Overall we loved the Hemlock cabin and would stay there again!

We had a great time staying in the cabin for NYE. It was perfect for our little family (two adults, one toddler, one dog). We enjoyed being so close to the hiking locations in Hocking Hills. If the weather had been nicer, we would have loved to use the fire pit! But we stayed cozy and warm inside with the fireplace.
