This is truly an amazing property with a beautiful and unique home in a serene and inviting environment. We mostly enjoyed playing in the river which is steps from the backdoor. We walked to the park and played pickleball, floated on the Buffalo river, and walked to town to shop at at the farmers market and interesting shops.

This house was amazing. Kitchen was nicely equipped. Decks were great to sit on and enjoy the scenery. We could walk down to the river. We spent several afternoons swimming in the river.
House was off the road. And was very private, but we were still only bocks away from stores and restaurants.
One of the nicest places we have stayed.

The property is exquisitely beautiful! The home is gorgeous with lots of windows and outdoor seating allowing us to enjoy God’s handiwork……the river, wildlife, and flora. The natural pool below the house is lovely and refreshing! Our host is professional and approachable as is her house manager! We loved it and plan to visit next year!

We loved our stay in this home. My #1 is always cleanliness and this was the cleanest rental ever period. The home was directly on little buffalo with huge multiple stone patios with comfortable seating areas on the back of the house overlooking the river. The river was so much fun for our 3 boys ( ages 16, 15 & 15). They fished, swam and just played around outside the house all day everyday. Jasper is a great location for adventures nearby from park next door to 10-20 minute drive to big Buffalo River…swimming, kayaking, fishing plus ziplining and rock climbing at Horsehoe Canyon Ranch. We also did a day trip to Gaston’s on the White River for guided fishing trip. And we loved Ozark Cafe and Cliff House Inn and the close Harps. A vacation to remember!

Fantastic house on the Little Buffalo River. Private and very unique, with lots of outdoor spaces. The bedrooms and kitchen easily accommodated our party of 8 adults. Loved the area, lots to do and see, we kayaked the Buffalo and went rock mining.

Some really great hikes especially up to the Bluff. Fishing was slim though. The house was nice and big and roomy and very well stocked. The view from porch is wonderful! And Linda was especially helpful in getting us settled in. Also was amazed that there was two pickleball courts down the road so we took full advantage of it.

The house is even better than expected from the photos on VRBO. We had 7 guys and there was plenty of space to sleep and hang out. The host was over the top friendly and helpful for our stay. She made great suggestions for local restaurants that we took advantage of and we met some great local people. We were there to ride Harleys with the guys and the roads are spectacular. We have ridden all over the USA and this area will be hard to beat. We will be back again!!! Thank you!

Nice peaceful place that's quiet, my group stayed there while on vaction to ride motorcycles through the Ozarks, we rode about 275 miles a day, and nice to just get back to the rental house and watch the river, eat and relax everyday after the long rides

We have been several years to Jasper, Arkansas and this home was truly the best place yet for our family!!! It was amazing!! My family enjoyed it so much. There was plenty of room in the home and we were very blessed by the weather that we had while we were there. The extra apartment was perfect for my son and daughter to have their own little space!! The view of the river is phenomenal. Our children played in the river every day that we were there. It was like having a private river to ourselves. There were several places that you could go and sit to enjoy the breathtaking view. The house was very well stocked with everything you would need. I definitely plan to try and rent this cabin again. The owner checked in with us to see if there was anything we needed. One day we had a small problem with the lock on the door and she immediately had someone come over to remedy the problem.!!! I would highly recommend this home.!!

The location of this property is outstanding. Such a beautiful place steps away from the river. Conveniently located near downtown Jasper. Linda, the host, is very attentive. We had a lovely family reunion trip and the house was perfect. Beautiful grounds and premium river location. The house is well appointed with everything you could need and the owner is in constant communication. Highly recommend.

We Loved the quiet town of Jasper. The house is in the main part of this small town, down neighborhood street which when driving down it , you think hmmm. Well, once in the driveway you realize that it’s going to be fine. The house was very clean, well stocked for cooking and relaxing without needing to leave the house. The views from the house are outstanding. The sounds from the buffalo river ,while sitting out in any of the many outdoor spaces of this home, are wonderful. There is a city park next door with tennis court ,if you play,and paved road perfect for walks.
As owner made known, the cell service is spotty, but not a problem for us.
Harps grocery is a short drive.
There are two cafes in town , which we did not visit, just putting it out there.
The area has many wonderful hikes , use all trails app.:)
Dr. Heard was very accessible and eager to communicate all details concerning the house that helped make our stay more pleasant.

The house and property were even better than the pictures showed. Pictures were great, but when we saw it in person, it was fabulous. Kids had a wonderful time exploring and fishing on the river. The adults laid back doing puzzles, watching movies, and cooking. Kitchen was awesome & well equipped. Beds, bedrooms, and baths were beautiful and comfortable. Lots of room for everyone. We hiked in the Ozark National Forest and ate at 2 of the local restaurants in Jasper. Everyone enjoyed it.

This house is awesome , very private and secluded even though its just on the edge of town. Restaurants, grocery, gas and hardware stores close by. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable The evenings were cool so open the windows and let the nearby rapids lull you to sleep.well stocked cupboards with many dishes and utensils made cooking easy Our group will definitly stay next year

The house was beautiful and convenient to the cafe's, grocery store and most of all the river. The kids had so much fun swimming, fishing and hanging out at the house. Linda was a great host making sure that we were taken care of. Perfect place to wind down!

This is a very special place that was perfect for my family and our friends to use as a home base while we explored the area. It is private, yet right in town. The outdoor living areas are impressive and being on the creek is the icing on the cake. Owner was very responsive. We enjoyed our stay and would go back again.

Buffalo River Vacation
This house, plus apartment, was the perfect fit for our two families. It had plenty of enjoyable indoor and outdoor spaces and was even more beautiful in person. We chose this property over others in the area because we wanted convenient access to the Little Buffalo which flows directly behind the property. We were able to float at our leisure at the property and down to the city park just around the bend. Several in our group also enjoyed being able to fish right there on the property. The fish were plentiful! It was about a 30 min beautiful and scenic drive to the canoeing and Zip-lining outfitter that we chose in Ponca. Check in and check out procedures were shared numerous times before and during our trip, so we knew what to expect. We’d definitely rent this beautiful home again!

We had a great stay at this beautiful property. The first couple of days it rained and we were not able to get in the river. However, we went on several waterfall hiking trips and we saw the most magnificent waterfalls. The house is well stocked and beautiful. Mrs. Heard the property owner was very courteous. We will be back!

Awesome spot for nature lovers. The views from the deck and patios can't be beat! We saw otters and blue heron. At the same time it's super convenient to be able to run into town for any forgotten necessities or to have breakfast at the Ozark Cafe. The house accommodated our group of friends really well with plenty of space.

Great Location and Beautiful Surroundings!
Linda's home is directly on the Little Buffalo River, with views of Round Top Mountain. The home has a wonderful mountain cabin feel, down to the small details. The stone-based back porch, second-level decks, and river walkways were absolutely beautiful! Linda as well as someone nearby were available 24/7 for any questions or needs we had (which was really only one need- to switch the unit to A/C, as the temperature one day got up to a very atypical 75 or so degrees). The home only blocks away from quaint downtown Jasper (walk or drive) yet is private and tucked away. Many well-known trails and scenic spots are only 20-40 minutes away, such as the Goat Trail, Lost Valley Trail, Glory Hole, and the elk at historic Boxley Valley. Perfect location, beautiful views, lovely and large mountain home! We will be back!

Great Anniversary Celebration
We stayed in Jasper - my parents, my brother's family, and our family for the week of Thanksgiving. The house is magnificent - a beautiful view with many outdoor areas to explore and relax. Everything was better than expected. I highly recommend this for a place to re-charge and re-focus.
