Loved the log cabin and whole property for our mini family vaca. We arrived to homemade brownies, taffy and a super clean home. Sharon was a superstar host answering any questions we had. Loved that we were able to use kayaks on the property, life jackets, a sandy beach, dock for our boat rental, swings and play/swingsets. The beach is a little squishy on the feet only a few feet into the water but it’s part of lake life :) we loved the fire pit and included wood and ate too many s’mores to count. I loved the back porch overlooking the water. We hope to go back again with friends and rent out both cabins because it’s a perfect family spot for friends with kids! Only drawback for us is we misunderstood the listing and thought two bunk beds meant two sets/four beds. There was still enough room and we made it work. Thank you Sharon for a wonderful stay!

My family and I enjoyed staying in this lovely cabin on Lake Winnisquam. (We actually rented both cabins on the property). It was great having so many boats on the property plus a sandy beach. Excellent firepit and indoor gas fireplace too. We had a wonderful week!

If your looking for a cabin on a lake this one is hard to beat. Location only a short drive off the highway is hard to believe when you pull in to this pristine, private property. kayaks, canoes, paddleboards are all available to be launch from a sandy shoreline. And the Loons...stupendous. Well worth the experience!

My family and I had such a lovely stay at this beautiful log cabin right on the lake. Such a fabulous home on a gorgeous private beach. My boys enjoyed fishing off the dock and around the lake all day. Hope to be back!

We can describe the cabin on the lake as pure paradise. From the minute we stepped in the door we could tell the owners took pride in their property. The cabin was spotless and beautifully furnished. We appreciated the effort to make us feel at home, from the homemade brownies and the salt water taffy, to the dog treats and fresh water waiting for our pup. We enjoyed using the boats and kayaks and lounging on the porch. The owners were available for questions and very pleasant to communicate with. We were sad to leave but we are looking forward to a return visit soon!

We were so pleased with the cabin from check in to check out. The home was well equipped and so homey. Such a beautiful spot on the lake to kick back and relax. So many beautiful touches to the home such as fresh flowers to welcome us. We plan to visit again soon.

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin and enjoyed exploring the surrounding area. The home and the property was beautiful. The kids enjoyed playing outside and using the swing sets. The homemade brownies, taffy and fresh flowers were a very nice touch. We felt right at home. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Spent the weekend in this BEAUTIFUL lakeside cabin, baking cookies in the kitchen and crafting by the fireplace. Not only was the cabin incredibly clean and stocked with everything we could have needed, Sharon was exceptionally communicative and made sure we were safe and plowed out when the snow storm dropped 6" overnight. Truly above and beyond vrbo hosting!

Had an amazing family vacation at this beautiful and so very comfortable cabin on Winnesquam Lake. The hosts, Peter and Sharon were wonderful and super responsive throughout our stay. Great location - it rained for our entire stay and we still found plenty to do- bowling, movies, largest arcade in the world, outlets, restaurants, etc.
On the last day, we realized we had left some cash in one of the dressers (yes, I know, not smart but she is 17 and trying not to overspend at the outlets)... I contacted Sharon to see if her cleaning crew had found it with little hope... they did, and returned it immediately via venmo. I was so impressed with her honest and accommodating staff. Wonderful people, beautiful cabin and an amazing getaway for our family. Do not hesitate, you will LOVE It. thank you Peter and Sharon for sharing your slice of heaven with us! we will be back this summer for sure!

I stayed for 4 nights. Right from the beginning, I was impressed with the thoughtful attention and care for the details. Everything was extremely well cared for both inside and out, well organized, very clean, and high quality. Almost anything I needed was provided through the fully stocked kitchen and throughout the cabin. It is beautiful, cozy, comfortable, perfectly located, and it is a perfect family vacation right on the water. The private beach and shared outdoor cooking area are also very well cared for and maintained very well.

Cabin was wonderful. Clean and lots of amenities. Host was great , easy to reach. Information sent by host and copy in cabin was so detailed about the cabin, restaurants, fishing, boating, hiking, shopping, all activities in area. We were there sept 28 to oct 3, 2023. We enjoyed the “off” season. Would highly recommend!

The grounds and cabin were a mini resort. Morning kayaking on a quite part of the lake started the day. Lunch and dinner were on the porch overlooking the lake. The evenings were spent inside the modernly equipped and beautifully furnished log cabin. It was very relaxing for the adults and my eight-year-old granddaughter gave us a big hug and thank you as she was leaving for home. Great vacation!

Winnicoette was fantastic! We stayed with our 12 and 10 year old girls and our dog. The cabin was both immaculately clean and also super dog friendly- difficult things to find together! The lakefront is gorgeous and we loved swimming in the clear water and paddling around. Centrally located for activities, and the hosts left a book with helpful recommendations. Sharon was very responsive and easy to deal with throughout. Everything we were hoping for in a great vacation!

This property was amazing. The design and decor were magazine worthy. The location is quiet and perfect to enjoy the kayak and paddle boards without feeling too crowded by boats. We used the outdoor kitchen to cook dinner one night which was surreal! Thanks to the Spanos for creating such a nice get away spot.

My cabin experience was awesome! Sharon was tremendously responsive and thoughtful. Her husband was nice to meet. He came by and dropped off supplies so that we could crank up the fire pit later that night. My overall experience was great! Relaxing on the private beach and sitting by lake was so pleasant. The weather was close to perfect. Memories for lifetime were made during my stay. This was one of the best vacation rentals I have stayed at.

We had a wonderful time at the Winnecoette! It felt like the cabin was set up just for us, from the tie out for the dog to the pack and play crib, we had everything we needed and more. It was like staying at our own little resort and we didn’t even need to leave the property. The cabin was spotless upon arrival and Sharon is a thoughtful and responsive host. We will be back!

This cabin and lake property was fantastic. You can see the little details they thought of to make the cabin feel like a cozy home and not a sterile or dusty cabin. The house was very clean and so well appointed. We were there for 5 nights and my only regret was that we didn’t stay a few more days. The attention to detail found in the inside was also applied to the outdoor spaces. Great place to get away for a couple or the whole family.

I cannot thank Peter and Sharon enough. The house is so welcoming. There were flowers, brownies and a candy dish waiting for us upon arrival. The house was IMMACULATE, cozy and so comfortable. Wonderful location, everything we needed was there and it’s close to a lot of shops and restaurants so you don’t have to worry if you need something. We had the most magical few days up at the Winnecotte cabin. It was just as beautiful in person as the pictures had portrayed. The brownies and gluten free cookies for my Celiac daughter were such a special touch, too! We would 100% recommend this place to our friends & family. It was hard to leave!

We just returned from another amazing weekend at the most beautiful lakeside cabin. We refer to it as our Hallmark Holiday. This is the second year my sister, dear friend and I gather for a relaxing weekend. The house is as picture perfect as you see online. There are so many personal touches from a roaring fire, to fresh evergreens, baked goods, and so much more. We are so thankful to have found such a special home.

Spent the Thanksgiving holiday relaxing in front of the fire, exploring local trails and playing soccer on the expansive grounds. Gorgeous lakefront property with a fully stocked kitchen and quiet, safe neighborhood - wonderful November getaway! Perfect for any age and AMAZING for our Vizsla! Hosts were fabulous and home was incredibly clean! Thank you for a memorable Thanksgiving! And try Sal’s pizza! Great local recommendation!

I’ve rented a lot of houses over the years, and this is the best yet. Sharon has thought of every single detail in the log cabin she designed. Enough towels and hooks/bars to hang them on? Check. Outlets in the right place? Check. Equally good main bedrooms for two couples? Check. Idyllic front porch, good kayaks and SUP boards, big stone fireplace, seating for everyone, and everything the parents of babies and children might need? Check, check, check. It was spotless, comfortable, rich in lake views, and while not huge, designed to have everything you need. Wish we could have stayed much longer.

Our family enjoyed a beautiful fall weekend at the cabin. The place was absolutely perfect with an amazing location and private beach. It had everything we needed for the kids and was well stocked with all our vacation needs. Very nice touches throughout and we're excited to visit again!

We had such an amazing time at the cabin. The house is filled with anything you may possibly need. The kid/baby stuff is a huge plus! Check in process was really easy. Check out process is also very easy I only wish it was an 11 am check out rather than 10. It’s hard to get the house cleaned up, everything packed with toddlers and a baby. All in all this house is literally a dream and I really hope to come back. There is so much to do here on property and so much to do in the area. The owners have kept it looking picture perfect and you can tell they take pride in their property. I will note that the bedroom/bathroom situation was perfect for us with little kids BUT could be tricky for those wanting more personal space. The second floor queen bedroom up top is connected to the bunk room so you have to go through one to get to the other. The only bathroom down stairs is through the master bedroom. Again, not a big deal for us, but for others it could be. Thank you so much to the owners for allowing us to stay in your truly magnificent home. We absolutely loved it!
