We walked to the beach for extra steps. House is beautiful and clean. Staff was superb. Laundry done daily. Woke up to breakfast daily. Heaven. Right in the middle of everything but closest to beach. The owner went beyond to make us feel comfortable before going and set up transport. Highly recommend.

The house is very well located within the Casa de Campo compound and well furnished. The owner is extremely attentive and responsive. The service people at the home do it great, from keeping the house clean to providing exquisite meals. We are a family of six and have spent a wonderful week at the house. The two six-people electric buggies are very convenient to reach the beach, the golf courses or the marina. All in all, a perfect vacation. Something to repeat.

Highly recommend staying at this villa. It was the highlight of our week-long stay! It was immaculately clean, laundry done, fresh towels and a big basket of towels poolside. Now the pool/hot tub/outdoor lounge area...AMAZING! Before arriving we booked a zillion activities. Mid week we canceled most of them bc no one wanted to leave the villa! Now for the staff....they are THE best. Maria, the house manager speaks english and is on top of the overall needs of everyone. Marcos sets the table, (how does he get the napkins into those shapes?!) serves the meal, pours wine, clears the table. You do not have to do ONE THING. As a Mom I can say that this is the first 100% vacation for me. Wendi is the chef and she is fantastic! We ended up cancelling reservations bc her food was so good. She made us a traditional Dominican dinner one night that I recommend. Other nights she grilled steak/fish/veggies with a pureed vegetable soup, salad. You basically wander to the kitchen and discuss what you want. And DO NOT miss her tres leche dessert. My teens requested it twice! There was an amuse bouche every dinner! The bfast was one of the highlights of our trip. It was so good that the teens got up for it, lol. Nice variety of eggs/bacon/fresh fruit/toast most mornings. Asked for some different options and got a dominican bfast--delicious. Also made pancakes most mornings. Another standout was the fresh squeezed juice every am! It was a variety of passionfruit, mango or a fruit medley. And I cannot forget the welcome pina coladas or the many cocktails that Marcos made for us. He's a genius at mojitos. He always left one for my 10 year old clearly marked without alcohol so she felt part of the crew. Beds are very comfortable and rooms have a/c and ceiling fans. The main area is open and leads to the outdoor area. We never turned on a tv! Played cards in the gazebo outside. Took after bfast swims, happy hour swims and after dinner swims. The lounge chairs out there are spot on. As far as the resort goes...we took one or both 6 person golf carts everywhere. It's about 2 min drive to beach, maybe 10 min to marina and the italian village. Our fav meals out were at Minitas and Alegria. Also the beach food from the food trucks was really good. Miss all of the ceviche! My 18 year olds liked the buggie trip the best. The Villa taxi driver took us out of the resort for souvenir shopping. And a masseuse came to the villa for us. Book it! It will wow you!

Paul is a fantastic host. He and his staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating. Casa de Campo is immense. Don’t pass up a visit to Chavon, we nearly did and it cannot be missed. Bring cash for tips, transpo, and activities.

But we were easily able to obtain alternative transportation with the help of the house staff.

This home is a secret sanctuary! We knew we were choosing the perfect Villa from the immediate attention to details we got from Paul and Ann when we inquired about a vacation. This get away surpassed our expectations! Spacious, open and meticulously maintained, this Villa has a place for everyone. All of the bedrooms are ensuite and have air conditioning. We were able to relax in the private early sun at our pool. You can stay there all day or go exploring throughout Casa De Campo. The white sand beach and public infinity pool with restaurants and bars are a short walk or golf cart ride away! We used the carts to visit the Marina and Altos de Chavon for unique shopping and dinners on the water. We also enjoyed the impressive golf courses. The pool and hot tub provided us with a perfect end to each day! Maria, Marcos and Damari took wonderful care of us and made us feel right at home! They opened up the villa each morning. We awoke to freshly made breakfast which we enjoyed outside. They also prepared our other meals upon request. Our favorite dinner was the night we stayed at the Villa! The fresh fruits and fish were wonderful! Our laundry and towels were cleaned each day. We stayed with our adult children, but would love to come back with our extended family. This home is spacious but has intimate places to relax with everyone or have some quiet time to yourself. The layout is perfect for all ages. Casa De Campo is filled with friendly vacationers and attentive, kind staff as well! We will definitely be back!!!

The villa is gorgeous! Great open plan, gorgeous artwork, and you never run out of comfy nooks to relax in. Each room has it's own bathroom, A/C, and television, so each couple (and kids) had their own space, as well as the huge shared space. Maria, Marco, and Damari took great care of us, and the food was delicious - from healthy salads and roast chicken to the irresistible Tres Leches cake. The location of the villa is great. The beach is walking distance (but for kids or anyone with some mobility issues, it's better to take a golf cart); the marina is easily reachable and we made two trips out to Altos de Chavon (defintely worth a visit). Outside the resort we did a quick trip to the Cueva de las Maravillas - it's no more than a 25 minute drive, and the cave is very interesting. There's plenty more to do on the resort, but with the kids (age 7, 4, and 9 months) we didn't need much more than the pool and the beach.

We recently went on a girls trip and stayed at 8 Los Mangos. It was our fist time to Casa de Campo and we had the best experience. The house is incredibly spacious and beautifully kept by Maria and her team. The beach and other facilities are only a short golf cart away. It was great to come back to our own private pool and hot tub at the house. The staff is very accommodating and made us feel so welcome! We had breakfast and dinner prepared for us each day which was absolutely delicious. The one afternoon we stayed at the house to relax by the pool and they prepared us snacks. Our laundry was done and our towels were changed each day. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation and will definitely be back!

This year was our second summer at Mangos 8. Paul is one of the nicest owners I have dealt with on VRBO. From start to finish he answers all your questions and does everything he can to make your trip perfect. Jose is the butler at Mangos and he is a very kind, considerate, and thoughtful person. The beach, golf cart rides, cinema, shooting, golf, horse back riding are non stop fun for my five children, my husband, and I. The chef cooks delicious meals and always adds her special touch to every meal. We look forward to next summer.

My husband, children (19 & 16 yrs) and I stayed at Los Mangos 8 this past July. Have never been to Casa de Camp before and loved it. The house is beautifully decorated, landscaped and has everything you need. It was great to come back from the beach (about a five minute golf cart ride) and relax by the wonderful pool. The first night we were there, Maria, Damari and Jose made us a delicious traditional Dominican meal. Every morning when we awoke, the table was set and the breakfast was prepared. The staff is very accommodating and we had no problem with communication even if we didn't speak Spanish. Paul called the first night we were there to make sure everything was perfect. This was our first trip to Casa De Campo and we absolutely loved it. The house was beautiful and the staff was top notch. It's just a short golf cart ride to the beach, the marina, or any of the fantastic golf courses. The house can sleep 8 very comfortably with plenty of room to spread out and lounge around the pool during the day. Dimari is an excellent cook. Make sure you ask for her tres leches cake. We will be returning over and over. Overall It is a stress free, beautiful vacation spot!!
