High Value at Great Price: Three Bedroom condo at Papakea Beach Resort
Vistas al mar en el norte de Ka'anapali. Este condominio en el 4to piso cuenta con 2 habitaciones con baños en la planta baja, más una habitación tipo loft, con 2 camas individuales y medio baño. La sala de estar tiene un HDTV LCD de 37 "y un reproductor de Blu-ray con señal HD de propiedad para que coincida. El dormitorio principal tiene un televisor normal de 27 "con canales estándar. Sofá cama Queen y alfombra nueva a partir de octubre '16. También se proporciona lavadora y secadora estándar. Fechas de estadía: 21 de abril - 1 de mayo de 2019: “Nos alojamos aquí a fines de abril de 2019, durante 10 días. Mi primera impresión fue wow, qué vista desde el dormitorio principal. Absolutamente hermoso. Elegimos esta unidad ya que somos una familia de 5 con 3 hijos adultos también, por lo que necesitábamos el espacio. Los 2 dormitorios y el espacio tipo loft resultaron fantásticos. No hay problemas con los arreglos para dormir en absoluto. Los 3 baños y las 2 duchas también funcionaron perfectamente. La cocina era perfectamente adecuada, aunque no la más moderna del mundo. Pero allí nuevamente no estábamos allí para preparar comidas de 3 platos todos los días. La terraza era un poco pequeña para sentarse alrededor de la mesa con 5 personas. La unidad de aire acondicionado era muy ruidosa. Esa fue realmente nuestra mayor queja sobre todo el lugar. Así que no es gran cosa. El complejo estaba muy bien cuidado. Observé regularmente a la gente del terreno cuidando el green y manteniendo el área de la piscina en óptimas condiciones. El complejo no tiene playa, así que tenlo en cuenta si estás buscando una. No es realmente una preocupación para nosotros. Es un hermoso paseo de 15 minutos y estás en la playa de Kaanapali, probablemente una de las mejores playas. Muy conveniente para el acceso a la tienda también. 2 minutos a pie de una gran tienda de mercado y tienda de conveniencia. No esperes ningún lugar de comida / bebida en el complejo. No hay ninguno De nuevo, no es un problema para nosotros. Los resorts más grandes cercanos tienen todo eso si desea pasar el rato en un bar o lo que sea. Recomiendo encarecidamente alojarse aquí. No te decepcionará. Todo fue genial para la estancia. Disfrutamos mucho el lugar. Los únicos comentarios menores sobre la unidad. Pequeñas hormigas en la cocina todo el tiempo. ¡Supongo que no puedes hacer nada al respecto en los trópicos! ¡5 estrellas! Nuestra familia tiene un condominio en Papakea pero mi padre estaba usando la unidad familiar, así que alquilé esta unidad para acomodar a mi familia de 4, mi hermana y su amiga para que todos pudiéramos asistir a la boda de nuestro padre, que también estaba en el resort. Me encantó la vista desde el Lanai y me encantaron las amplias habitaciones. Todos teníamos nuestro propio espacio y era muy cómodo.

Unit was clean and well supplied for our stay. Excellent grounds with lots of recreational opportunities.

The grounds are immaculately kept. It is a beautiful location. The room needs some severe maintenance. Only the main open area has AC. The loft was hot and the master bedroom were hot. The AC only cooled the living area and kitchen on full blast. The air conditioner filters were dirty the dryer filters and inner area were filthy. The kitchen pulled out drawers almost fell out and hit you. The coffee pot and maker was broken.The ceiling fans were dusty and so was the area above the ceiling fans. Cleaning service needs to do a better job to make sure all of the dishes are clean there were dirty dishes in the cabinets. The bar stool was broken and seat was falling off. Having needed more bedrooms This was our best option for a large group. I have stayed in other rooms and I would suggest booking a different one.

Do Not Stay Here. Roaches...yes time of year for them and owner brought roach motels. But then we discovered under the sink either a pipe or garbage disposal was spewing food and water everywhere which attracted hundreds of roaches. We told the owner about this and they did not reply to us nor did they send anyone to fix the problem. Since we told them about the sink they went radio silent. Could not use kitchen as they were coming out of the toaster, microwave, stove, oven and sink. Groceries were thrown away and food in HI is not cheap. Very unsanitary and they carry diseases. I guess once they got paid in full they don’t care about issues while you stay there. It was disgusting. My daughter was getting married and when she went to put her wedding dress on there were roaches crawling on it. Do not recommend this property or any property chase ‘n rainbows manages.

It was by far the worst place I have stayed, as soon as we entered the condo there cockroaches on the kitchen counters, the stove, the walls and in the toaster. Disgusting.I rented a condo because I wanted to cook and not eat out because it gets expensive but that is what we had to do because the kitchen had so many roaches. I reached out to the property management office and I was told they couldn't do anything about it. The following day I reached out to chase'N Rainbows and was told it is part of being on an island. I have been to Maui many times and rented condos through chase'N Rainbows and NEVER have I seen one roach where I have stayed. Bottom line they did NOTHING ABOUT IT. Very disappointed and disgusted. Spend a little more and stay away from this place.

I tried contacting them on their emergency line and they did not get back to me for 12 hours even though the phone said 30min. When I finally got a ahold of the company, the were very rude and said if we want a different room we would have to pay $1,000 and it would only be a 2 bedroom instead of 3. The did not apologize for the feces or anything else. They would only give me 10% off and when I said that what they did was disgusting and horrible, the hung up on me. Its

We had a great time as we finished our two week trip to Hawaii to Oahu and Maui to see friends and show our 8 year old the islands he doesn't remember from his last trip at age 18 months! I thought maybe some of the "flashy" hotels we stayed at first would leave him disappointed with alow key condo complex but this was his favorite! Two pools! Shuffleboard was a huge hit! We got to grill hot dogs and have mac salad for a lazy lunch by the pool one day. We could have set out on more ambitious excursions daily but we so enjoyed this spacious condo and the relaxed atmosphere, we took full advantage of Papakea. Sitting around with friends and just enjoying stories and our family and friends. My husband and I stayed here many moons ago pre-kid with friends and it's exactly as I remember, just chill Hawaii vibes and beautiful views. Staff was friendly and helpful and the location to Lahaina and restaurants was great! Look forward to returning! My son said as we left, I wish we lived at Papakea. He loved his loft bedroom!! ;) 'Nuff said!

We rented this condo for a spring break week. Property grounds are immaculately kept, there are 2 pools and 2 hot tubs on site. Tennis, pickle ball, golf putting, shuffleboard. We were at the unit mid April near the end of whale season but was able to watch whales from the sea wall area of the complex! Saw a few breach too which was really exciting. Saw lots of sea turtles, a monk seal and a few dolphins while we were sitting by the water. One bad thing is there is no beach at this location. Only some steps down to the sand if it is low tide. You can walk to a couple of other resorts along a path that do have a beach if you want to sit in sand. Unfortunately there are no beach chairs in the unit itself. The property management will send info on how to rent beach equipment for the week. Also, bring your own beach towels and wash at the unit as there aren’t any.
The unit was clean but in terrible shape and needs updated. There is blue carpet throughout and it’s caked with sand and dirt and just needs taken out. A vinyl plank flooring or tile would look nicer and make the condo feel more comfortable as far as cleanliness goes. The appliances appear to be from the 1980’s, new kitchen would be better. Furniture was worn and dirty. For the amount of money we paid, I would expect the unit to be newer and updated as to be comparable with other units in that condo area. There is a drip coffee maker, blender and microwave which came in handy. The owners may want to add an instapot or crockpot for ease of cooking for families. We ate at the condo a lot as eating dinner out was pricey. There are many gas grills around the complex free to use and are cleaned by staff daily. We grilled often. The times grocery is within walking distance & the food trucks.
I gave 3 stars for communication because I had to call the property manager co to ensure my last payment was made as all my emails from them said it would be automatically done on a certain date and wasn’t. Also the check in instructions were not emailed to me as they said they would be and I had to call about that while at the airport on a layover waiting for Maui flight. They send an app but then the girl answered phone says they don’t use app?? It was very confusing and not professionally done at all handling the details of the rental.
Otherwise, had a great time.

My only complaint was the listing said that there was an A/C unit, but did not specify that it was a dinky little window-type A/C in the living room. NO A/C in any of the rooms. When you're out and about in the sun all day, you'd expect reprieve from the heat when you head back to home base. PLEASE update your listing to reflect that there is NO A/C for the ENTIRE property!

It was wonderful the only issues I had were that one they fumigated the property and inside the condo the day after we got there. There where several cats around so it made it look like there might be a pest problem. Second the condo is outdated it was spacious but it could really do with an overall upgrade.
