We really enjoyed our stay at this property! It was comfortable for our family of 6 ppl, not super updated, but it worked. The lazy river was fun! Beds were really comfortable! The bunk beds though need some attention as they could use painting. They look very worn from both sides and seemed a bit unstable at first, but they were actually OK.
Location was great as it's convenient to both Destin & Ft. Walton, beach across street, restaurants, Target, CVS.
Cons: Being in a beach town and touting a lazy river and then NOT PROVIDING BEACH TOWELS is a real negative, especially when traveling by plane. We had to go and find/buy towels which added to expenses, time, frustration.
We also had issues with the Hamilton Beach Keurig-style coffee pot--kept giving us errors. The owners were quick to get us another one, but it was the same brand and didn't really work any better--takes a long time to heat up and wasn't easy bc the second one you could only add as much water as the amount of coffee you wanted, but we didn't know that---it wasn't written any where. If you added more water than say 8 oz, the cup would overflow.
We were there for a wedding so we needed to get wrinkles out of our clothing. The iron was basic and didn't steam, but it worked ok, however, the ironing board had a cover, but no padding so it left the xxxx pattern from the metal ironing board on our clothing. I had to go over everything again with damp cloth. Overall, a good place to stay!

The condo was clean and spacious. The kids had an absolute blast in the lazy river and pools. The condo is conveniently located to the beach, restaurants and shops. We had a lovely family vacation!

We rented 3 condos at the resort. Two were on the ocean side, one on the bay side. All inits were very clean and had everything well stock. Location was close to grocery stores, restaurants, and had lots of fun due. Our ages were from 2 years old to 76. There was something for everyone! The fireworks Wednesday nite were awsome!

It was an amazing trip for our family. Some of us had not been on vacation in over five years. We really enjoyed our stay in the Sandpiper - the rooms were spacious, nice sized kitchen and living room area and loved the deck. We also really enjoyed the lazy river and pools. We went down there daily. Also, enjoyed the beach too and it was a quick walk over to it. The beach was so nice with the white sand and water. We are from Minnesota so we really enjoyed this time away. It was a wonderful place to stay and met all of our needs. We will definitely be coming back for another visit.

The resort & unit were nice. They advertised/pictured 2 sets of bunk beds. However, there was only 1 set in room. 2 teenagers had to sleep on sofa sleeper in the living room. Inconvenient when others woke up earlier & having living room our of commission until they woke up & we were able to put bed back into sofa.

Wonderful place!
This condo was wonderful, we were in town for a wedding at another resort. The other resort was very difficult to work with and they kept changing the cost, which made us look elsewhere. What a lucky thing, the location, views and facility were perfect. This unit was set up very nicely and clean, two bedrooms plus a third room with bunk beds, the kitchen had everything needed, we only had to supply the food. The pool was fabulous, many pools, hot tubs all very clean. We watched the staff each morning scrub everything down and arrange for another fun day. The beach on the gulf was one of the nicest we have ever been on.

Wedding/ family vacation
We rented this condo during our wedding week. The condo was very spacious, clean, lots of dishes and appliances. Bed was comfortable. Lazy River was fun and nice views of the bay. Long walk to the beach, but there is a bridge that connects to the island hotel across the busy street. Great for families.

Wonderful Time
My wife and I were first time snowbirds, and we could not have chosen a better property or condo. It was just as described (i.e. spacious, well decorated, well equipped, and clean). We had a few questions, and we found the owners, Glenn and Peggy, the be very accommodating and responsive. As for the property, it was wonderful. It was chilly when we were there, and the heated pool and hot tubs were much appreciated. The grounds are immaculate, and the fitness center is well equipped. The location is within walking distance of the Okaloosa Island Boardwalk which has several restaurants to choose from. It is also only about two miles from downtown Fort Walton and about five miles to the Destin Harbor. Needless to say, the whole experience was fabulous and we have booked the same condo for next year.

Amazing!
We had an amazing time staying at Peggy & Roy's place. When we arrived at the condo, it was very clean and smells clean too. It had everything that we needed for our stay. I appreciated all the extra efforts(supplies) that made our stay a breeze. You cannot beat the location! Our daughter loves the lazy river and we also enjoyed going to the beach which is just across the footbridge. Hope to stay there again.

Beautiful property with amazing views. Property is very nice and fully stocked....even down to hand soap and paper towels. Pool and lazy river were amazing. The walk to the beach was easy. We did not appreciate the fact the beach had umbrellas set up for rentals from 9 to 5 and there was no where to sit with a view. But the evenings were gorgeous. Would definitely stay again!
