The house was in terrible shape with many things broken and/or dirty. I should have paid attention to the reviews and chosen a different place.

Day of check-in got a text stating couldn't check-in until 6pm due to short staffing, when arriving the house was dirty in a lot of areas, mold in the master shower, kitchen stove had food on it. Lots of areas weren't dusted, copwebs all over the house, bathrooms vents are full of dust. First night realized fridge wasn't cooling properly had to throw away a lot of our food, let them know they sent someone out the next afternoon, he just cleaned behind the fridge but of all the trash and dust there was but still wasnt as cold as it should of been. As much money it is to stay there a night and all the fees you would think it would be kept much nicer and cleaner.

Good location right on the beach. The house was clean and comfortable but as stated in previous reviews, the place is run down and needs work. Paint, furniture, flooring, etc are in pretty bad shape. Having said that, it's not the kind of place where you have to worry about damaging some expensive part of the house or furniture. Communication was great.

This was the worst experience staying at this place, I had my 50 person wedding here and the pictures were absolutely nothing like the house or beach, this is a scam and I intend to get all my money back. Tried contacting the host for over 3 months and no response, no beach access, rocks are placed all around the house. It depicted in photos and I had to change my whole wedding ceremony and reception bc of this. Not to mention the beach patrol gave us a $450 fine because of the parameters and this was due to the rocks we had no idea that were there. Luckily we made the best out of the beautiful beach and it was an amazing wedding but we could not use the house and I was had by VACASA. Never stay here. Nothing works everything is broken. Don’t trust these people.

Loved location, house had plenty of room. However this house needs major interior work done so many broken things & is a safety hazard! The sliding door panel fell out knocked my grandson over, thanking our lucky stars the baby (no baby in the Walker) Walker took the fall of door otherwise would crush him!!!!

The house is in need of some major maintenance. For the amount of money that I spent, the house should be kept in better condition. The hot tub jets didn’t work, the sliding glass door is difficult to slide open and closed, and many things were loose and not functioning correctly. The list could go on and on. The location was the one thing that we enjoyed. Take some of the money and do some maintenance on the home. Also, the front of the house tiles as you go up the stairs were loose and broken which is a fall risk. The foosball table players are not stationary so it is pointless to have.

This is a nice big house. The pictures are deceiving. It has a lot of cosmetic damage. One of the burners on the stove wouldn't light. The pans were all scratched and damages. One of the blinds were broke and tied up. The back sliding door had to be lifted and slid to close but it was so heavy some of us had to get help to shut it. The tiles on the porch stairs are broken and chipped and my daughter tripped and almost fell.
The hot tub was amazing and the house is big and felt like a castle to the little kids.

The house is awesome, and was very clean. The oven was broken when we went (for thanksgiving) and it appears to have been setup in 2005 and never updated so it’s pretty outdated. All beds were uncomfortable and many things didn’t work as they were supposed to. I don’t know as we would stay again because of that but the house size is good. Ample beds but not ample seating

Floor to ceiling windows, ocean views from every room, expansive yet cozy feeling was perfection. The kitchen was lovely to cook in. The hot tub on the beach was next level. We loved everything. Thank you!!

Sisters & Families Reunion
Our family of 17 found the Beach Villa completely accommodating for us. Easy e-lock-code entry, to a beautiful furnished home. Everyone had beds, privacy, and bathroom access; we brought our food and cooked meals in the fully furnished kitchen, and it never felt over-crowded. Clean bedding and towels, all plenty available. We especially enjoyed the beach views from the great room, the hot tub, and close access to the beach. I would not hesitate to recommend the Rockaway Beach Villa to others, and would definitely come here again.

We chose the stormiest, wettest, windiest storm weekends to gather for mother's 80th birthday. 20+ family house bound in the most amazing house. The house provided an abundance of amenities. Towels, soaps, toilet paper, dishes, pan, pots, beds upon beds with plenty of private spaces.. You NAME IT. It was all there. Cleaning crew did an amazing job setting up for our arrival. (Check out the towel closet-amazing folding) Hot Tub was hot. The views spectacular!!! We shopped in the gifts shops and a fantastic lil market minutes from from the house. Ages 5 to 80, we all had a great time and had everything we could possibly need. Thanks to our hosts!

Beautiful view. House need updating bad!! Lights need replacing. New paint inside would help. Updated cabinets a must. Hot tub cover allows rain in. Much more to do. Would not rent again until home updated.

Beautiful home at great location, few bathrooms
It’s a great home and the beach is perfect, not busy at all. However it’s advertised as sleeps 25, which is only possible by doubling up on full mattresses on the lower bunk beds. Also, there’s only 3 bathrooms, 1 of which stopped working while we were there. 25 family members in 2 or even 3 bathrooms isn’t fun.

Amazing vacation at Rockaway Beach
Our stay at the Rockaway Beach Villa was exceptional. We did a family reunion with 15 adults and children. The bedrooms were very comfortable for us. Any of the repair problems had been taken care of by the time we came. The cable tv was fine. The WiFi was perfect. We used the oven for baking and the hot tub was a hit. I think the biggest feature is the fact the you are literally right on the beach. From our windows you could see kids in the surf. And when we needed some extra soap, etc, maintenance stopped by within an hour. We loved our stay at the Rockaway Beach Villa.

Great location, home had issues
The location of this property was great! Beautiful beach right out the back door with stunning sunsets. The house, however, had some issues. The oven didn’t work, the downstairs bathtub drain didn’t work, the cable TV wasn’t working, the master shower had poor water pressure. Also, upon returning to the home one afternoon we couldn’t get into the house because the batteries in the lock had died. We were able to get in through an unlocked window, otherwise we would have had to wait a couple of hours for the repairman to arrive to change the batteries. For the amount they charged for this property I expected everything to be in working order. Despite all of these inconveniences we enjoyed the time with our kids and grandkids and the beautiful Oregon coast.

House on the Ocean
Beautiful View! You can’t get any closer to the ocean unless you are in a house boat in the water. You could see the sunset perfectly while sitting in the hot tub or looking through the huge panoramic windows. You don’t have to walk through other homes to get to the beach! You are one footstep out the sliding door onto the Beach.

Great house but needs more of the basics
This is an awesome house with a beautiful view! Although I was pretty disappointed with a couple things that I'll share... First was the oven, it doesn't work at all and needs replacing ASAP. Second, is the hot tub, it doesn't get hot so if this is an important amenity to you don't book this house. Next was the mattresses, its about 50/50 if you get a bed with a mattress that is sleep worthy. I wouldn't include adults sleeping in the bunk beds as part of your reservation for that reason. Last was the "basics" I referred to in the title. For a house that sleeps 20+ people there weren't enough disposable items...we had to buy our own trash bags, toilet paper and paper towels after just one day (with 17 people staying).
Other than those complaints this house is pretty awesome! Plenty of silverware, plates, cups etc as well as pots/pans appliances (you can't run the coffee maker, toaster and electric skillet in the kitchen without tripping the breaker :( ).

Amazing view!
House needs a little work. Sliding door needs replaced and there is a soft spot in the floor. The ice maker does not work and the refrigerator made a lot of noise. Could use a coat of paint. The foozeball table needs tightened up, screws were loose. The house itself was big and beautiful! Well stocked. We will definitely stay here again!
